Loved it. Better leg room than most. Great, unobstructed views of the stage (from where I sat) and helpful staff. Architecture is delightfully whimsical and a breath of fresh air to the mediocre cattle boxes we re herded into for entertainment.

Look forward to every opportunity to see a performance here. Building is cool and unusual. Not a bad seat in the house. Saw Lisa Lampanelli and David Sidaris here, both great shows. Ticket prices reasonable, seats comfy, drinks before show fair selection and price.

We saw Almost Queen and the sound was excellent. The theater is really nice and we had plenty of leg room. They have free parking. You can park and walk to any restaurant before the show or just check out Albany. We ate at Jack's Oyster House before the show and the food was great. I am looking forward to seeing other shows there.

Great seats...lots of leg room, ushers to help . Dont think there is a bad seat in the heart theater. Found easy peeling but website didnt tell you much about the parking availability. Will only go to the egg. Will never spend another penny going to the times union center again
TU seats are narrow and you kiss your knees the whole time. The egg had comfortable seating with great leg room.

Show I saw here was phenomenal. To quote the person on stage "the worst present you can get for someone who just got an abortion is a to go box." It's a nice small space and all seats are fairly close to the stage. I drove two hours to get here and was not disappointed.

What a comfortable space to see a show! Lots of leg room, and if you're short, as I am, you'll have no trouble seeing. Architecturally, It's one of the finest examples Brutalism I've ever seen.

The building itself is very nice and fairly easy to navigate. I didn't particular like the way they run the parking garage. My daughter attended a 2 day conference and they charged us the parking fees when we dropped off and again when we picked up.

Great performance by John Pizzarelli Trio and Catherine Russell! The Sawyer room provided an intimate setting for another of John's consistently high energy performances. He knows his music !

What amazing architecture and acoustics in the Egg! The lineup getting into the venue was confusing though, and everyone was milling around asking where to go and what to do. Other than that, it was a really great evening there!

The Egg is such a fabulous venue for entertainment! It is located in downtown Albany and is recognized by its shape: egg-like. My husband and I have seen many groups perform and gave always been delighted by the variety and musical excellence of the performers. Tonight we heard Marty Stuart and his band. We saw Marty Stuart on the PBS series 'Country Music' and were impressed by Marty's contributions to the documentary. The show was very well-done. Marty and his band were well-rehearsed, played brilliantly, and sang with excellent harmonies. I am not a country music fan, but the music and stories were more than country; they were engaging and impressive. If Marty Stuart is coming to your town, but a ticket and enjoy the show!

This morning, I brought my grandson for his first "cultural" experience. He'll be 3 this month. The hour long performance in children's theatre was, I thought, an excellent initiation to live performance. The venue was great also.

Old and unusual. One of only a few remaining egg - shaped spaces. Even with the troublesome roof and bizarre interior, the acoustics are good and the acts that come here are enjoyable. We love the family and children centered shied shows most!!
