We were expecting more fish and less screens and empty display tanks to be totally honest. There wasn't enough to actually see for our little one to be entertained in any one place for long, though it would be better for older children, maybe 3 plus as they would get more out of it. The Deep was pricey for a fairly small Aquarium, though it appears to be huge and the water tunnel was more of a water bridge sadly.

This was a pleasant experience with friendly and helpful staff on the desk and throughout the attraction. There isn't a huge amount of things to do so I would judge your timing accordingly, but the kids should enjoy what is there, with the feeding displays and so on done at regular intervals throughout the day. Recommended for children, especially younger ones.

Such a great place for both adults and children. Admission fees are well priced as is the food in the cafe. Very well managed and cared for tanks with knowledgeble staff. I have been a handful of times and will continue to do so.

Made a special visit to The Deep after hearing many good things. It didn't disappoint!

Fun and educational for the kids, very friendly staff... what's not to like!

Go for the day out, stay for the huge tanks, penguins, piranhas, reefs and more.

Worth the reasonable entry fee (cheaper by a little if bought online prior to visit), two hour journey from where we stayed and then some.

Cannot recommend it enough. Hope to return one day

Brilliant! However... the price is extortionate, surely kids could go free or for alot less but there practically same price for a adult, was told it was a yearly pass which don't mean anything if your not local, really should knock down the day fee

I came here with my son. And as we went to the half way cafe I felt the kitchen staff were very disrespectful I felt they were mocking me, especially when I caught them doing it I felt they were being very homophobic and I fully do not respect that. I have had a horrible experience today but staff do need to show a bit more respect. To their customers

Fish, Fish more Fish, Jellyfish, and then yip you guessed it more Fish. Excellent Aquarium can get very busy with long queues during school holidays so get there early but they down go down pretty quickly, Also you pay once and it gives you unlimited entry for a year.

Good

Great place for kids. Not so much for my teenagers. We was all walked round in an hour. Will definately come again though without my teenagers as they got bored pretty quick. Me though i loved it.

I was not impressed it was very busy there was lots of family and children and the parents had no control over them . They were running jumping and screaming and no one t took responsibility of them . There was staff around but they were not telling anyone to calm down . It couldn't be good for the fish we drove 80 mi miles to visit it and could not wait to get out . Not worth the trouble Colin

I really enjoyed my visit, its a very interesting place. I Loved the Gentoo penguins, go there if you love Penguins. I appreciated the lengths the place has gone to recycle food containers. They don't sell plastic bottles. They have a water fountain to refill bottles instead. There is lots for kids to get involved in.

The Deep is absolutely amazing..... We went on a private tour prior to general opening and got to see behind the scenes which was not only immensely interesting but huge fun..

I thoroughly advise anyone to have a private tour as you experiance the Deep on a totally different level...

Long queue but could be expected in the school holidays. The place is clean and plenty of room to not feel as though your been pushed around. On a personal level I thought it a lot better than sea life and to top it off we can go back for 12 months at no extra cost. The only let down was the lack of parking.

Wow

Really amazing place, the best aquarium I've ever been to. For a start, it's GIANT! It contains the most stunning variety of fish I've ever seen; you can never get bored. Staff are really friendly and happy to help you. I would rate it higher if I could; would definitely go again!

As a aquatics loving nerd I absolutely love this place. We have travelled up twice and my boys are asking to go again.

Great size site with plenty to see, all arranged into different zones. Amazing large tank displays which you can sit in front of for hours on end. Has some great interactive elements including the ice walls (great fun to get you kids to lift up their shirts while you push them against it) and even an elevator that goes up through one of the main tanks be warned my kids had us going up and down several times (it was quiet so we was able to stay in the lift).

Food in the restaurant is good and well priced and they also have an upper platform that is outside and overlooks the Humber which is nice to stand out on.
