Great staff! People are very friendly here. We stopped at the Peacock Lounge. The food was decent, though felt like a lot for the price. It had a Las Vegas feel to it. Also, they do not make any drinks with egg whites.

Out of the 3 hotels this is still our favorite. It's so gorgeous! The others are very modern and clean but you cant get the same "vibe" there that the historical has.. it's just breath taking!
Food at the grill was overpriced for what it was. Had short ribs. The sauce and mash potatoes were delicious and the meat was good too. Portion size was small. Pricing was absurd. While on par with texas roadhouse in quality. The room was okay. A few small hyginic issues here and there. Visiting the ballrooms was the highlight of the trip. Visiting the gistoric ballrooms are a must if you stay here.
This is a very warm and inviting hotel. The lobby was so beautiful and comfortable that I never wanted to leave it. Bedrooms have a nice tasteful decor and I really enjoyed the chair ottoman combo to read my morning paper.
One if not the favorite hotel I get to stay at. The beds are SOOO comfortable and the people take excellent care of you. There pool and spa is wonderful to relax and unwind in. Room service is top knotch.
The revolving door in the Davenport is a time machine to upscale Victorian luxury. A curious blend of modern technology with ornate early 20th century flare, a stay at the Davenport means the sleeping on the most comfortable mattress money can buy after enjoying drinks, top-end food, and superior hospitality. Dance in the intimate Doge room after hours with your partner and dip in the relaxing spa. The Davenport is guaranteed to impress.
Beautiful historic downtown hotel. Fast and friendly staff and great amenities. VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS! The rooms are well done, the bathrooms are great and the soaps and hair products are excellent.
Took grandkids to see the trees on display Sunday, but missed it as we were too late. Wasn't clear from the website what the time frame was. Always love the grandeur os the Davenport, but next time will go on Saturday!
What an absolutely beautiful place! The staff was wonderful! The Hotel is like a time machine. The manager Blaine was an incredible host for the impromptu tour he took us on. We will definitely be returning!
Stayed here when giving a talk at a conference. Rooms are super nice, well kept and clean. Love the tall beds, large rooms and sitting areas. Good bar in the lobby. Nice easy access with large parking garage.
when we arrived in the room there was bags for an other peoples , we called and they said they delivered to wrong room, there was no toothbrush or toothpaste, no sandals the room was not clean as we expected and we pay almost $400. It was so frustrating
We stayed here for 5 days whilst my daughter was at a competition at the convention center. What a beautiful hotel. Very professional staff, and they go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The decor is magnificent and very classic. A short walk to the convention center and all that Spokane has to offer downtown. We had a wonderful stay.
Fun place to have a wander if you like history and grand old architecture. Went on a weeknight to see the Christmas tree displays. It was fun, but crazy busy and difficult to manuever in a wheelchair. During "normal" times, you can have a wander around the lobby and 2nd floor public spaces. There are plenty of captioned old photos and small displays that follow the history of the building and the Spokane area. Nice place to tour free with out of town visitors.
Slept a bit too well! Everybody was too nice! The place was too clean! And it smelled of fresh waffle, butter & syrup! I just kept ace like home!"saying, "There is no pl

Absolutely Elegant, and LOVED IT. Stayed in the Governor's Room. Only drawback is COVID-19 and no room service. . Absolutely beautiful, and a very comfy bed.
The Palm Court Grill was really good! We went there for Mother's day and ordered the eggs benedict, it's was delicious! The service was awesome and as usual, The Davenport's clean and inviting!
Wonderful, beautiful and the employees go out of their way to make your stay special. We celebrated our 25th anniversary and the wait staff put rose petals on our table at brunch and then the staff made a point to come over and wish us a Happy Anniversary.
We've stayed here before, but this time won us over as screaming fans. On a 10 point scale, this is an 11. Everything was perfect. The king deluxe room was quite large and had a nice sofa and lounge chair. The bathroom was beyond nice--it was gorgeous. It had a beautiful walk-in shower, nice thick towels and wonderful body wash, shampoo and conditioner---first class stuff, too. But what totally won me over was the bed. OMG. I slept 9 1/2 hours and woke up with practically zero lower back pain! We have a medium-firm TempurPedic at our home and morning back pain (every morning) is something I thought I had to just live with at my age (61). Nice to know the hotel sells the mattress/box spring combo and you can use your room charge against the total price (King $1700 plus shipping). Definitely not cheap, but if this can help me sleep like this every night, I think I just might order a set. Spokane is underrated as a city. It has great restaurants, specialty shops, a beautiful riverfront and of course, this magnificent hotel. I highly recommend you stay a couple of nights at the Historic Davenport Hotel on your next visit to Spokane.
Beautiful hotel with great service and staff! The spot to go if you like the older buildings. Check out the Tower and Grand sister hotels for a great experience as well!
Amazing rooms, clean and updated. Historically preserved all around. Lots of food choices on sight and within walking distance. Friendly service. Ask for Travis if you visit Palm Court Grill. Listen to his menu advice. He knows the food and booze!
This place used to be wonderful, I would often go on Daddy-Daughter dates with my dad but it has sadly gone down in quality. For the price you pay it is no longer worth it.
Impeccable as always -- have never stayed overnight here, but have spent time in the lobby lounge, been guests at weddings here, and have attended other events. Stunning decor. My kids most love the circle revolving door, the lobby fountain with the koi fish, and the fancy bathrooms with individual rooms for toilets and cloth towels.
I don t know where to start! I brought my family with me this weekend for work- we were so excited to come here and stay at the Davenport for the first time...but it will be our last- we will never stay here again. Our first night our room was so hot that neither my husband and I, nor our baby could barely sleep. I don t know who would buy a mattress here as they offer- we all sank into the bed like rocks in water and tossed and turned in the swamp of sheets all night. The next morning after I got some work done in our room we left for the day, only to return that evening to find that no one had cleaned or serviced our room ( and lucky us with our one year old) low and behold there was no running water! We couldn t shower or bathe ourselves or our baby, couldn t brush our teeth or wash our faces, fill up our water bottles-nothing. We called the desk and got brushed off- It took hours to get our son to sleep with no bath time routine and to top it off yet again- our room was scorching no matter what we did to the thermostat. It was an awful weekend in the hotel and we won t even make it to check out time this morning we are so eager to escape. So disappointing-hopefully our experience was an aberration for the Davenport.
