Amazing and beautiful hotel. Great and friendly staff with great attention to detail.The Christmas trees were gorgeous. Also the peacock lounge was spectacular with amazing food and huckleberry martini.

Beautiful hotel. A new experience around every corner. Service is impeccable as is the food. Perfect for conferences.

I got to spend Christmas with my family. Would highly recommend the buffet and the Grand hotel.

I loved the look and feel of this place. The food service was also great. I would recommend this place for party of 20-30 people.

The hotel is magical during the holiday season. It s become my tradition to stay here over Christmas. The Peacock lounge is wonderful. The Martini s help to medicate in preparation for the family visits. The AMC movie theater is 2 minutes walk for the annual late Christmas Day evening movie. Hotel staff and valet are great. Crab omelette and Benedict s for breakfast, yum!

Here s my again , an update to my my post above. It s the Christmas after and the Historic Davenport is just as magical. Upgraded to the Governors Suite this year. Fireplace is wonderful. Wish the Peacock was open Christmas Day evening but understandable staff need to be home with their families.

See you next Christmas for my 4th annual Davenport Christmas! Hoping for snow for next year! I ll bring my truck so I can take one of those mattresses home

Stayed at all 3 Davenport locations (Historic, Tower, Lusso) and they are all a very nice experience in their own way. The historic has a beautiful lobby with okay rooms, the tower has a decent lobby with decent rooms, and the Lusso has a poor lobby with spectacular rooms. The service is always top notch. Bar food and drinks are great albeit expensive. One of the few hotels I really remember after my visit.

I know of no one who doesn't hold The Davenport Hotel in high regard. The rooms, dining, lounge are all excellent. It's the diamond of Spokane. Most definitely a destination.

The hotel is amazing! Fancy and elegant and comfortable. However, we were (without our knowledge), put on a "dog" floor. I could not believe how many dogs there were! When multiple dogs were barking we almost felt like we were staying in a dog kennel. I am surprised that a hotel of this caliber even allows dogs. I'm a lover of dogs but in a 4.5 star hotel! They should at the very least ask you if you mind being in a room on a dog floor!!!

Absolutely lovely hotel.
We only stayed for one night , but the customer service was positively charming and they made amazing food!
Great historic building , also enjoyed the koi fish in the main seating area of the hotel.

Very comfortable beds. They will give you some soft peanut brittle but it's just a copy of the original that you can get across the street at Bruttles which is much better.

All the lights and trees. Just beautiful. Can't wait to go back

A Spokane favorite! This hotel has been restored beautifully, and is a must see! It's rich in history, and offers a one of a kind experience.

This Hotel is wonderful, and there is not a better location in Spokane. Walking from entertainment, lots of dining, shopping, and even a gym. The classic details of the hotel are my favorite- I could look for hours at the carvings and fixtures that make up the Davenport. 100% recommend, even if it is for dinner and sight seeing.

Wow! What a beautiful hotel!

Ambiance: The ambiance was fantastic. Great decor, perfect lighting, etc. The rooms were extremely clean, nice and, well, super swank-tastic.

Staff: All of the staff were super friendly and professional.

Room: The bed is massive and oh so soft. I don't usually sleep extremely well in hotels, but I slept like a baby here.

Location: Great. I was able to get to the freeway in just a few minutes. It's also Spokane we're talking, so nothing can be too far. (;

Hope I have another business trip to Spokane so I can stay here again!

A very upper-class building with amazing services, to which I did not get to see the full extent. Worth a visit even if you don't stay.

The food was pretty good and everything, but I don't think it lived up to the prices or the presentation and atmosphere of the restaurant.

The beds are so comfy they sell them. Beautiful historic hotel with great service. Love the fireplace and jacuzzi room.

We had dinner at the Palm Court Grill. The service was slow. Food was good and prepared perfect.

Always a wonderful place to go visit, stay, shop, have a very nice drink in either one of their bars. Be sure to your the entire Davenport as it shares so much of Spokane's history. Just love it each and every time. Everyone who works there is congenial and helpful as well.

Always love drinks in the peacock lounge. Hubby and I had one of our first [of many] dates here so it holds a sentimental place for us. Order the pear drop!

Room was the most comfortable room I've been in. The bed was great. The free shampoo and conditioner are the best I've felt at a hotel. Location is right near Riverfront Park by Spokane Falls. The restaurant has a diverse selection of foods. Definitely would stay again at the right price.

The the lobby of the Historic Davenport Hotel harkins back to a time of opulence, refinement and beauty. A must see for historians or architecture bluffs.

This hotel is beautiful! Staff were attentive and polite. Their washrooms at the lobby level is impeccable, which I find it says a lot about the quality of upkeep a hotel. Definitely will come back :)

Gorgeous hotel! Amazing service :) unfortunately we didn t spot any ghosts the mattresses weren t as comfortable as Fairmont hotels which they should be for these prices.. but the atmosphere is stunning - just like a castle

What a beautiful hotel. The architecture is incredible and it feels like you're a part of history. Everyone was very respectful and helpful.

One of my favorite hotels to stay in. Not only is it rich in history and charm but it is gorgeous and elegant. It makes you feel like you have stepped back in time but is clean and modern as well. The rooms are huge and have every amenity. Staff was super friendly and I wish I could have stayed much longer. I will be back someday.

I don't know if they're trying to be classic on purpose, but the place just feels old and cramped. The entrance is under the building and rather dark. The parking garage is next door but requires a lot of driving to get to because of all of the one-way streets. The decor is the old fashioned grand ballroom style, which is enjoyable. However, the room itself is too small so the furniture just makes everything seem cramped.

Loved staying here the history was my favorite part!!! It's all around you, your literally standing on it!! Never been anymore happier and employees every last one Amazing so nice!!

The Historic Davenport has never disappointed. The rooms, the atmosphere, the restaurant, the staff... All top notch. In fact, the prime rib they serve at the restaurant is by far the best we've ever had and we've been to some "world class" places... Non hold a candle to Davenport. So you can imagine our delight to learn that their prime rib will be on the menu at our next visit despite the rough business environment hotels and restaurants are going through in 2020. KUDOS to the Davenport!

DISCLAIMER: The Historic Davenport is an OLD world hotel in the heart of DOWNTOWN Spokane. As such, you may get some noise from the city: traffic, trains, sirens. It just goes with the territory. However, if you're willing to overlook these shortcomings and focus on the history and the great service, you won't be disappointed. If you want quieter environs, maybe try the Tower just katty corner to the Historic hotel.

Historic - great - very well kept hotel that we have stayed at 14 times over 4 years... each time was spot on for service, comfort and a good nights sleep!

The beauty...makes me want to be an architect id love to work here and see this place every day. It would never get old. A great place for events if you can afford. They have a beautiful ballroom and the history is everywhere. What a great place. Proud to say i live here(:

Beautiful hotel. Stay or visit during Christmas if possible at which time they have well over a dozen trees decorated and on display. Brunch is pricey but worth every penny!!!

We made our annual trip to Spokane this past weekend and once again the Davenport was TREMENDOUS. I want to give a special shout out to two WONDERFUL employees in the Palm Court Grill; Corrin and AJ. They went above and beyond to make a special evening even more special. THANKS for the memories. Can't wait till next year.

My absolute favorite hotel to stay at when in Spokane!!! Love the history of the building. Love walking the halls and looking at the historic pictures and reading about them!

Beautiful rooms and great views, staff is nice too. But no free parking and not much attention is paid to the history of the building or area.

Great place. Love their annual Christmas tree event!

Wonderful visit, highly recommend for vistors and locals. Amazing, little known history of our area.

It's beautiful, but I feel out of place here. Pretty ritzy.
