The Davenport is a piece of history. Looking at the photographs and the real-life versions of the hotel is amazing, almost like stepping in a time machine. The atmosphere makes you feel fancy like royalty, and the architecture and murals are beautiful.

Reserved a room for 4 nights ( business meetings on site). I called this four star hotel about the room, no refrigerator or microwave, unless I d like to pay an extra $25 a night! Four star hotel? I travel around the state quarterly and in 17 years have only run into this twice before. From Best Western to Red Lion, many others see it like I do, these are basic amenities, not extras .

This hotel is magnificent opulence at it's finest! I felt like I was walking back into a different era. The craftsmanship is truly stunning and what a fabulous big bed. I also very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful!

It's a neat place due to the history but right now I have it at two stars because the last few times I've been here, the place is starting to look run down. The women's bathrooms were beat up and not clean.

Overall a pretty good experience, very nice room and facilities, but 2 small issues were a bit of a damper on the experience. The first was surprise amenity fees there was no information available on until receiving the statement, and our car key was temporally lost when we went to the valet after checkout.

We stayed in the cutter sweet on the top floor. Overall its still worth it to stay at the Davenport but there were some issues such as the light flickering in the room and the outlet short circuiting my phone when I tried to charge it.

The Davenport Hotel is one of the most beautiful landmarks of our great City. I regularly give tours for people who are visiting our town and I nearly every time take them to view this gem. I got to visit it before it was reconstructed and I'm so grateful that it was saved :-) the staff at the hotel are always incredibly kind and respectful. I would recommend the hotel to prove it to anybody that I know. I hope in time that they offer more vegan options in their restaurants. The world is going that direction.

I went specifically to try the Crab Louis Salad "named for the hotels founder Louis Davenport." It came with lettuce on a bed of spinach. Next to that we're several tomato wedges and a sliced egg as well as a generous portion of crab. A light touch of dressing was drizzled on the lettuce and more dressing on the side. I also ordered the Cougar Gold Cheese Dip with Bread. The salad was quite filling by itself.

Just wow! Probably the nicest hotel experience I've ever had. Valet is fast and courteous. Ethan at the front desk was great in answering questions as he's a Spokane native and you can tell loves it here. Both the rooms and the food are top notch. The decor one of a kind. Couldn't recommend any higher. Oh and don't forget to get the prime rib. Honestly haven't had one better!

The Davenport name used to be associated with quality. Over the last five years it has simply become an overrated expensive mediocre hotel with questionable service. I used to put guest speakers here and even had my son's wedding here. Both of which have been let downs. Sad as this used to be a great place.

I've attended a large convention held at the Davenport a couple of recent years. Couldn't afford to stay there, so I stayed at the Ruby diagonally across the street for $70. The Ruby is a cute basic hotel, and all I need. But the Davenport---Whoa! You could walk around that place for hours gawking at all the perfectly restored details. Old photos from its early glory years give you a really good idea of just what a posh place it was then. I'm sure glad some entrepreneur took a chance and put the money into restoring this beautiful grande dame of a hotel so that we could enjoy it today. The poor thing sat empty and unused for years awaiting its renaissance. If you go to Spokane for any reason, you've got to check it out. BTW--I gave the service a Very Good even though I didn't stay there because I did participate in a breakfast and lunch during the conference and the staff was excellent. Didn't want to go over the top with an "Excellent", though, since I didn't experience other aspects of their service. Just so you know.

If you love old buildings and the art of it all, just go to see the inside of this place. They have a few restaurants, but spent so much time walking the lobby and second floor displays we forgot to eat and ran out of time before leaving the area. Will go back again.

I can t say enough to express how incredible our wedding experience was at The Historic Davenport Hotel! Our planners were not only professional but so kind. We felt like they treated us like family. I have to give a shout out to Mackenzie Huff, Sasha Baron, Meagan Nillson and Nicole St. Laurent. They took care of every detail and all we had to do was show up and enjoy our special day. Thank you ladies!!! I ll forever be grateful for all of you!!!!!

Lovely old world hotel right downtown within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the riverfront parks. Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel lobby is stunning and well worth to sit down and enjoy a drink or two. Also we did the hotel museum tour and learned a lot about this hotel and its history. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. We will be back

If you pay $600.00 for a room there is a certain level of cleanliness that is to be expected. We have stayed at all of the hotels in the Autograph collection and surprisingly the historic was the lowest quality, we stayed on the 14th floor of the historic. There was a trash can full of trash left in the room, hair in the shower, smudges all over anyththing glass and cobwebs in the restaurant at breakfast the next morning. I highly doubt we will be back.

Great building, but I kind of feel like we got fleeced a little bit. Prices were high and they charged for everything (i.e. parking, water in the room, coffee, etc.) The history and beauty of the rooms was great, so if you're rich you'll probably like it.

Must see , anytime in Spokane! Loved visiting it ! It is like a piece of art,all the original details were preserved, second floor hallways are full of pictures and items from the era hotel was built. Ballrooms are gorgeous! The best part is no fee for viewing .P.s. There is also a Starbucks and restaurant ,for those who wants to have a bite.

This place takes you back to the past. Rooms are beautifully done, and the beds are super comfortable. It has 3 restaurants and tne Peacock Lounge is my fave. And don't get me started on tne peanut brittle! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! It's worth stopping by to just pick some up.
