I spent time here touring the history of the hotel and getting drinks and dinner with family. There is a walking tour that we did, interesting history there. Then we did a wine tasting which was fun, the employee was friendly and knowledgeable. The wine tasting was free since we bought a bottle, and it was a nice experience. The hotel itself has a lot of history and you can go exploring and see some beautiful architecture and decorations.

For the legacy of the Davenport, there doesn't seem to be the pride behind their work like in the good old days. Little things that most people wouldn't notice we're off. Decorations did not match, flagpoles were mismatched, the little things we're not taking care of.

Beautiful place to stay and dine. Valet guys were super nice, helpful (they helped lift my wheelchair out of our van and back in when we left) and super friendly. The Davenport is like walking into a palace. We ate at the Peacock lounge. The only reason why I'm not giving it a five-star is because while the meal was good I feel it could have been a little better I had the wild prawns and hubby had salmon with fettuccine and he said that the salmon was just okay because the salmon didn't have any flavor... other than that I would definitely recommend going there.

The room was beautiful and the hotel is gorgeous. My husband and I got away for our anniversary so we got a parlor suite. We got the worst night sleep ever! Trains every 20 min. Street noise all night. If the windows had been updated so there was noise reduction then I would of happily given 5 stars.

I have seen a lot of stellar reviews. I was made to feel distinctly unwelcome in a very short period of time after arriving. So much so I cancelled the three remaining nights of a scheduled 4 night stay, and went to another hotel for the remaining three days. I have to give one star to post review....that is generous!

Beautiful hotel, certainly a 5-Star experience within Spokane County. Overall, it's a little spendy for the city of Spokane. The adjoining restaurants are over priced as well as room service. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The bathrooms are as well, but the extra rolls of toilet paper ate so fancy, I felt bad unwrapping them Staff is very friendly and helpful, views are overwhelmingly beautiful cityscapes. If you're looking for the prime Spokane experience, you can't go wrong with the Dav.

Very elegant hotel. My compliments to the Worthy's that undertook the refurbishment of this grand hotel. I enjoyed the room I stayed in. The turn down service was unexpected and a great surprise. The only thing i would change is to make the mattress and pillows a but more firm. I would stay here again.

We are attending a week long event that is utilizing all three Davenport Hotels. The Davenport Tower is 8 blocks away from the main Davenport Hotel and the shuttle service between the two is lacking. However we can drive over and park in the other garage with our Davenport Tower parking pass so it works out.

This is one of Spokane jewels. It is a beautiful historic hotel built in the early 1900's. It is a must see when you ate in the area. They have the best Sunday Champagne brunch in the inland Northwest. Go to it if you are in town on Sunday.

Amazing hotel! Very extravagant! I think it was worth the price! The ballrooms had breathtaking architecture and interior craftsmanship. The lobby was elegant yet inviting. I liked the coffee shop in the morning and they served warmed cinnamon rolls. Wonderful experience! 5 stars for sure!

Beautiful rooms and seemingly the center of the city. Accommodating staff helpful despite my road worn appearance on first entry, and offered same level of service once I cleaned up. Great location facilitates travel or staying in. Excellent hotel, have passed it on to friends.

First The Historic Davenport was a Beautiful place. The Valet was really nice. The Penthouse room was very comfortable and loved the decor fire place and jetted tub.
The bad.. We were told our room had a balcony with a Beautiful view of the river.. No balcony just a window with a ledge you could stand on not recommend unless you want to go to jail for a sucide attempt.
We called ahead for a shuttle ride too and from the Spokane arena. They said they never got a reservation. They called us a cab but We were stranded on the way back in the cold. We finally got a ride after standing in the cold for over an hour. They charged us for a shuttle even though they said they never received a reservation.
I called the reception desk twice both times they were not friendly and made me feel stupid for asking a question.
There is free NO continental breakfast biscuits and gravy cost $14. They do have a starbucks that has great coffee and muffins.
So I loved spending time with my husband in this beautiful room he wanted to surprise me with a nice get away. Our Bill was over $300. We will not come back here. The more you pay the less you get.

Housekeeping could do a better job in each room. For instance, sink in the bathroom was clogged, dust on various items in the room for instance ice box, hair was found in the shower. The hair was from a previous guest. House keeping could do a better job. In spite of all this i still say it is a 4 star hotel. In addition various Personnel could be more customer focused from the front end at the bellstand to The Palm restaurant as greeters.

It has been restored so well. The detail and the craftsmanship is something to admire all by itself. Couple that with great rooms, friendly service, and terrific food and you have the Davenport!
