The Crowne Plaza Atlanta Midtown Review

The hotel room was nice and clean. The beds we're comfortable, and customer service was great! I think I would have enjoyed the balcony more if it wasn't winter.

I attended a GM conference at the Crowne Plaza over 3 days. The room was stylish and comfortable with a nice balcony. Food and service throughout my stay was exceptional! Bravo Team Crowne Plaza!

The four weeks at this place was so nice. The staff is ready to help with any and everything.

Staff was phenomenal and our conference really enjoyed the space. Expected a little more from the rooms (cold draft from former balcony and not working deadbolt) but the balance of service outweighed those minor inconveniences.

My stay here was Amazing! I went downstairs to the "First" restaurant and had a amazing experience. The manager Dawud was so friendly and professional he took care me and husband and made sure we had everything we need. Did I mention the food!! The cook sandra made my hamburger to die for. Thanks you so much IHG staff.

This was by far the ABSOLUTE worst hotel stay of my life. First room was dirty as hell and the heat didn't work so I spent the first night at 60 degrees they refused to discount or refund anything so they moved me to a new room, cool right. Except my bed was smaller AND the tub didn't drain so it was pily and gross from the last person. The noise is untolerable. You hear cars racing and playing music all night long, LOUDDDDDDDDDDD. Im addition your only 2 options for parking are either 36 or 40 per day. Biggest rip off ever.

The balcony doors don't open, the TV didn't work when we got there, and the elevators seemed slow and made strange/frightening noises.

I got my brother stayed for 4 days and the hotel staffs didn't clean their room once. Even after explicit instruction to clean room before they left for sightseeing. You know what the hotel did? They put do not disturb sign on door, so no cleaning needed.

Location was perfect. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Had some drinks at the bar and they were delicious!!

Good hotel and location in downtown close to lots of sights including Mercedes Benz stadium, world of coke, aquarium and more. There is no free parking valet is 33 dollars a day that's why 4 stars otherwise pretty decent. And no fridge in the rooms.

Best hotel in ATL. my school take a trip to ATL e every year and the Crowne plaza allways does there best to help us and the many other schools there. Youth assembly wouldn't be the same without the Crowne plaza for putting up with 2k highschool students.

Enjoyed my stay there recently. Marsha at the front desk was so helpful with everything. It was busy there but the room was so quiet. My only issue was I wanted to use the pool but bugs were floating in it, so I passed on that. I recommend staying here.

I happen to be a delivery person who has frequent business at the Crown Plaza. The staff has always been courteous, professional, and helpful.

Check in desk personnel refuse to give bottle water to some guests. They was seen giving water away to certain people. The room were just ok. The towels ha v e holes in them. The food was ok . I will not stay here again. It was not top notch. I was there Oct 20 thru Oct 23, 2017

Sheila the front desk manager is an angel. The hotel is definitely not what it used to be. The pool is the party spot along with the rest of the hotel. Smoke rolling out from under room doors. We wouldn't even let our 15 year old girls out of the room.

No free parking, parking was almost half the price of room! Very very bad

So my stay was great i won a free night stay for 2 from my job and one i hate i had to still pay for parking but the first room was shity hair was in the beds so i switched over to another room on the 18th floor was alot better.... View was priceless i havent been in atlanta too long to know what the city really look like but i love the view, the breakfast was good n fresh Thank You Crown Plaza for a amazing night

Enjoyed my stay after the sink in kitchen was fixed and they unclogged the bathtub!!

Well run. Several staff helped me deal with a misplaced mobile phone - with concern and generosity of time. Very well-appointed rooms. Top-notch place.

The hotel where I originally booked oversold so I was placed here. It was quite a nice surprise in terms of customer service and staff that went above and beyond. In particular, Derrick who was working on Sunday morning at the restaurant. He had a great attitude, good sense of humor, and went above and beyond. I am a Hilton and Marriott rewards member but because of the great service, I'll consider staying here my next time in Atlanta.

Stayed 10/26-28. Issues from the moment we checked. They couldn't find our reservation, had to switch rooms because the heat wasnt working, called to get towels to shower, took an hour.

The hotel is nice, but the best thing happen to me during mu stay there was their front desk leas Sheila Robertson. She is cooperate level professional, and I never had to worry about anything from facilities to instant change in plans, she is always there and respond on email immediately.

Attended a rally at the hotel. Everything went smoothly and hotel staff was great.

The best place to party in the city. Please try out the skyline ballroom. Lovely view of everything in the city.

I received such rude service and was kicked out of the hotel. I checked in and less the 5 hours my key card didn't work. When I went to the front desk I was met with rude unprofessional behavior. I simply told the Front Desk person my key card didn't work, then he actually serviced someone else ahead of addressing my complaint. When I asked him about it, he said you can leave the hotel. Extremely Rude!

Bed and bathroom smelled like dirty construction men. I felt itchy in the bed. Traumatized.

Clean room in midtown. Awesome access to the interstate.

Its a nice hotel. I think its a bit pricey for what it is. Parking sucks.

Hotel was ok. Prior to checking in we pulled up to the front door was told by valet that valet parking was $40/night & self parking was $15/ night so we opted for self parking. We weren't told that each time you leave the garage you have to pay [ended up paying $37 for parking]...wish valet would've been more specific because i definitely would have done valet parking. Requested a king room when we arrived at 3:30 king room wasn't available [was still waiting to be cleaned] and it would be a wait or i could do the 2 queen room and was told it was on a higher floor, in the back with a view of the city. We opted to do the 2 queen room because we wanted to start enjoying our weekend and there was no telling how long we would have had to wait for the room to be cleaned & we would still have to check out at regular time. Got to the room and it had a weird smell to it [sprayed it and that helped a lot]. There were no microwave nor minifridge in the room so we had to sit our leftovers out [that made me take away half a star]. The construction site took away from the view that i was told the room had. The rooftop pool was relaxing early in the morning [8am] as more people came out it stopped being relaxing [yelling across the rooftop and smoking weed (even in the pool i could smell it)]...maybe have an employee come out ever so often to check on guest would help with a lot of the problems. GREAT location...everything we did was so close.

Someone was allowed to use my credit card, yet they are not allowed to tell me who it was. Thinks this not correct.

Nice hotel. Charge $40 for valet parking, and no microwave or fridge in the rooms. For what you pay, you don't get much.

Even though work was being done at this hotel. The atmosphere was great. Rooms are very nice and the employees are wonderful. Great views. Would definitely go back.

This place was awful as far as housekeeping. Our room was filthy. My parents room had a urine stain in the bed and it took hours for them to come. Once they did come, they just placed new sheets in the room. They did not even remove the dirty sheets that was on the bed. No one ever came to clean our room. The floors were never cleaned before we got there or after. I was with a family reunion and multiple people complained about the same thing. The front desk was awesome! Shelia and Lauren is why they got two stars, but the other things in the hotel drown their niceness out. DON'T STAY HERE!!!

My friend and I stayed for a night last Thursday for her birthday, and the bathroom's tub drain wasn't functional, a fact I did not discover until I had completely wet my hair in the shower. Unfortunately, I was pressed for time and couldn't put in a request for a room change. Furthermore, one of the metal attachments to the towel holder next to the sink came apart. The room was not in good repair.

For $100 a night, I had expected better.

Room and bed sheets were dirty, toilet didn't work. Even though the toilet was fixed the bed sheets "couldn't be change in the evening". After complaining I recieved an upgrade the next day. The suite was nice - with trash laying on the balcony. Really bad cleaning. Breakfast and overall service was ok.

The rooms don't have microwaves or refrigerators. Also, our room didn't have a window. There was a deck but the walls are so high that it looks / feels like a prison yard

Other than the front desk staff, this place was miserable. Dirty, used soap in my room, the bar and coffee shop kept hours that made no sense. The lobby was freezing cold, and everything smelled old. Do not recommend.

I stayed at Crowne Plaza Midtown Atlanta for 2 nights and the front desk lady was fantastic. The room is very clean and has enough space to put your stuff up in the closet or dresser. The buffet breakfast was pretty good although a bit pricey. I'd definitely stay here again.

This were my First time staying in this hotel. ..This hotel isn't worth the money that they charge to stay here....everytime I need to take a shower NO HOT WATER!!!!! I have to call the front desk every time. So this is something that they know about. Cause they always said ok we got to reset the boiler. ...NO microwave in my room. .call the front desk $10 a day ... NO coffee!!!! What happens to regular coffee maker.....I rather pay a little less for a room and have everything I need. .than to pay all of this $$$$ for a room and go through what I went through REALLY! !!!! Very disappointed crown plaza midtown! !!!!! I rate this hotel very POOR !!!!! For my 2 nights.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only thing I disliked was not having a balcony. My room on the 12th floor had an AMAZING VIEW of the city !! Peaceful and relaxing

SO and I visited for a weekend. Hotel was very nice and clean, there is a rooftop bar and pool which is cool. He is a rewards member so we got a deluxe room with a private balcony and drink vouchers for the hotel bar

As we pulled up and got out of the car the valet parker was adamant that I give him the key to my car! NEGATIVE!! I DONT KNOW YOU! I asked about parking before I even paid and the lady said that we could park on our own we did not have to use valet. We paid for the room and then they told us they did not have water for over half of the day and that parking was going to be $30.00 a day or we could park in an unattended parking deck and ride a bus. We decided we did not want to stay there and then she said it was going to be 3 to 5 days before our money was returned to my account due to pending transaction. I checked my account and the money was already out of my account. While we were standing there dealing with our problem three other couples came up complaining about the hotel and one said she was charged twice for her room. I would not recommend this hotel to keep my dog!!

I was very disappointed with my stay at Crowne Plaza Midtown. Because of the name I expected to be accommodated & get everything o paid for. I booked this hotel because it was downtown and in the vicinity of everything i wanted to see but also because it advertised a balcony in all the rooms. This was not the case. I understand they were sealed for safety reasons but of that is the case don t advertise them. Valet was ridiculous. On the first day i waited 45 min to pull into the hotel in the valet line. The following day i text the phone number so they would have my car ready & i got downtown there & ended up waiting in the lobby for 30 min. When i checked with the attendant he hadn t even checked the computer to see my notification. He sent me a response from the computer right there in my face that said my car would be ready in 10 min and I still ended up waiting another 30 min. This Valet was not worth $40 at all. Being nice i did not insist on getting my money back but I definitely should have after I got my final bill. I got my final bill and the valet charge and other hidden fees we re on there, for services i didn t even take part in, making my bill $100 more than what I recently expected. There was also a $150 hold placed on my card after check in which was not explained to me and when i asked the next day I was told it was for incidentals and would be refunded. It has not been refunded.

I had such beautiful experience at Crowne Plaza Midtown. Stayed for 3 weeks while my mom was in Emory Hospital half block away. The Staff is amazing since front desk Adrienne in special and all others so nice and helpful. The waiters for breakfast and dinner Queo, Grada, Jalisa , three of them , in special so friendly warmth, and trying to please us guest!Then I have to mention Sheila, the best RP and wonderful Human Bean who helped us so much every day and every way going out of herself to make sure all was doing well. We had several demands as two of us three ended in Emory hospital ! Sheila was an angel in our stay so thanks so much Sheila and all Crowne Plaza Family
