I visited this venue as part of a conference. In my limited experience with a staff, all were friendly and happy to help. The conference space was normal, nothing exceptionally good nor bad from what you would expect in a large hotel like this

Our stay very delightful and peaceful. Let me star out by giving much thanks to the staff (Ms. Traci, Ms. Adrienne, Mr. Ralph and Mr. Kayton) just wonderful, helpful and pleasant. They made my 24th anniversary with my wife just spectacular. Mr. Ralph suggested what I should get and do; then he directed me to Mr. Kayton and Ms. Adrienne which pulled everything together by coming up with a way to get my wife out the room so they could set it up for a night to remember!!!! Just outstanding people with awesome, sincere and gracious hospitality skills.

We will definitely be back to spend another relaxing weekend there.

Thanks a million for making my wife happy and our special night one to remember always!!!!

The stay was great but I was over charged big time almost double what I should have been charged and I was supposed to be refunded for the amount I was over charged and almost a month later I have yet to receive my refund.

The lobby is well maintained, but the rooms and hallways are not. This is a big place and I was told when busy some occupied rooms may nit be cleaned until 7pm. The staff are friendly, but not very helpful with knowing or suggesting local dining or attractions.

Terribly overpriced with nothing included. $36/night for overnight parking. Breakfasts from $7-15. Taxes were $26/night. Overall price of staying here was close to $200/night. Room was adequate but nothing special. I understand location makes it more expensive but this is outrageous for quality and location.

"Describe you're experience", well I'm here right now and they are terrible and racists. I'm from up north, so if you are from here, skip it. Broken back door, clogged toilet. We put the complaint in at 9:30pm and they finally came up and switched our rooms at midnight. It must have been the lazy management waiting for a shift change. The manager was so rude, walked out on me and bumped my chest, I really had to swallow my pride. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I only stay in IHG properties, due to the fact that I own plenty of stock in International Hotels..... Even though tourism is picking up with the strengthened economy, I have to sell my shares on Monday. Thanks IHG for the money you have made me, but after my experience, I cannot invest my hard earned money in YOUR terrible service!

Their new Worklife rooms are really mice and relaxing. The only drawback is you have to request a microwave. There was no mini fridge but i guess one could be requested.
The beds have great reading lights so as not to disturb your partner while reading (if you are traveling with someone)

The location is great, situated in the middle of midtown and downtown which makes it a convenient walking distance to numerous spots in Atlanta. Simple basics like public Wifi are good for work travelers. The food provided by the hotel is nothing stellar, and honestly abysmal compared to the amazing food that awaits you just around the corner of every block.

This hotel was nice and clean we didn't see any roaches in the hotel so don't know where that is coming from but the only thing we didn't like was the parking cost of $15 per day which we think it should be included in our stay. Also we had an amazing view of the city from our room and the girls really liked it. The Hotel was close to many attractions and that was definitely a plus.

This place is ok. Room was dirty and smelled dirty! Lobby is nice though. This will NOT be somewhere we return to however. We our Platinum Elite status members and were passed up for the actual room we reserved AND passed up for an "upgrade" because quote we checked in line 3rd, but the 2 in front of us had no status at all. Lesson learned, will being staying at the Hilton for the rest of our stay here this week.

Parking was not cool. There was an event nearby so even parking at the hotel was double what it usually was. They told us that our pass was good for 24 hours. 18 hours later we had to pay again to leave the garage; there was no attendant. There was no end to the noise downtown. I've stayed at other hotels in the same area, but never had to deal with that much traffic noise.

HUGE BUGS, Unprofessional MANAGER!! As we where checking in, a huge roach crawled up the wall at the front desk. We asked for the manager to insure our room would be bug free, and Mrs. Wilks the manager didnt even acknowledge us or apologize, her response was this is Atlanta what do you exspect?! . Wow.! I understand a bug can come out, but to respond as of it is ok to have huge bugs crawling around lets me know the rooms or food, is not taken care of at all. The manager Tangela Wilkes was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Im a professional fire fighter and my wife is a vice president for a major financial institution so we know how people should be treated in customer service. I would have been ok with an apology and an explanation, but to dismiss us completely, made us leave and find another hotel. We had to spend double the price because most hotels where booked.

We evacuated here from Florida during a hurricane. The staff was AMAZING, which is why I gave four stars. Because there were so many evacuees it was hard to gauge some other things so I reserve judgment. I believe that the cleaning staff were just plain overwhelmed by the volume of people. The elevators were a hot mess and almost impossible to catch a ride on, but again I think it was due to the volume of people. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking at night. And we did not hear any city noise when our balcony door was closed. Overall I would 100% visit again when passing through the city.

A disgrace to the brand.

A disgrace to the brand.

Have nothing good to say about this hotel, staying in the 'new' suites but dirty, damp, smelly, worn out, damaged. Needs a total revamp or ihg should just close it down. Have cancelled the rest of the stay here and booked elsewhere.

Disgusting.

The staff was polite but the first room they gave us smelled like someone had just finished smoking, the second was not even clean, stains on the pillows, Our bathroom mirror said killa was here obviously the room was not cleaned properly. Could very well find a better hotel for the price, Probably the last time I will ever try a Crowne hotel

Surprisingly turned out to be the worst hotel I've...

Surprisingly turned out to be the worst hotel I've stayed in. I've stayed in cheap, $30-40/night hotels that at were better and it's so hard because the staff of this hotel were great. The problem comes down to its awful location and structure. The rooms used to have balconies, which are no longer available to the guests, so the sliding glass doors are drilled shut. They're not well insulated though, and the sound from the outside is horrible. I spoke with other guests that made similar remarks. Right outside is an emergency room and down the street a bit is a police station. So plenty of noise from sirens, but that's not the worst of it. There is a also a highway ramp besides the building, so you have the sounds of cars constantly speeding up. Again, not the worst, the absolute worst is what I believe is illegal street racing of motorcycles, or something similar to that. I stayed for five nights, from 11pm to 3am there is near constant motorcycle noises zipping around. The hotel is aware of this issue and offers complimentary earplugs, but I cannot sleep with those.

On top of the noise, the beds and pillows we're awful. Besides the noise and beds though, the rooms were nice, good services, and a friendly staff.

We came along with many others running from Hurricane Irma. Place sold out and filled with people with dogs.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean nice rooms. Got two queen connecting rooms with pull outs. Balconies attached to the rooms, 24 gym.
Valet is $33/day, we chose to self park, since we had our pets and cars filled (having to go back to them to get more items as needed), which is $15/day.
Breakfast buffet pretty good. Fruit, make your waffles, bacon, sausage, biscuits/gravy, yogurt, runny eggs, cereal, turkey sausage, bagels, couple pastries, lox and cream cheese, some meats and cheese, few more things.
Coffee shop that is only open in the mornings?? Many people drink coffee throughout the day. There is a Dunkin' Donuts across the street.
I would visit this place, again.

Had a great checkin experience. However upon entering the rooms they smelled stale and there was mold all over the ceiling and dust all over the air conditioner around where the filter should have been changed/cleaned, which it hadn't been.

We were to check out Friday morning and came back late Thursday night, and went straight to bed. When we woke up the maid had taken all our towels and didn't replace a single one. So we couldn't shower. I've never experienced anything like that. Called the front desk no answer.

We also went down to the lobby snack bar and stood in the designated window for about ten minutes and the guy at the front desk didn't acknowledge me, try to help, nothing. So we left.

I don't think I would recommend staying here to anyone I know unfortunately. As the customer service and cleanliness is subpar.

The price is good and the location is quite convenient. There has been conferences both times, and the last time was a lot of kids, and was very noisy. I had a college sports team booked right next to my room. My room also while clean this time, did not seem as upkept (i.e. kind of dingy carpet, damaged door, etc). The staff was very friendly as usual, and the breakfast selection was good with the quality being OK. kind of disappointing there is no mini fridge to keep drinks cold. The downtown side is also very noisy as you hear sirens, horns, street racers, etc quite clearly through the windows.

Worst experience for our family business trip! Hotel staff stole our business credit card and charged it multiple times . We had to take a police report against the staff member. Hotel allows guests to smoke crack and weed throughout the facilities and security does nothing about it. We were moved from 3 different rooms the first one smelled like urine and dogs , we got moved to another room 2 in the morning and it smelled like old weed and a dirty fat man, then they moved us to a suite room the whole floor smelled like a weed n meth lab. Once we finally got to our room which was a king with a pull out bed there were pee stains on the mattress . We were able to get minimal sleep The next morning our card was fraudently charged another $320 . Currently waiting for the police to arrest the POS that stole our card .

Crowne Plaza Atlanta - Midtown was just great! Their customer service was top notch. I was greeted warmly and checked in without any problems. They had an associate walk me to the elevator and point out the different shops and restaurants that were available to me. It was a nice touch. Later, when I needed more coffee in my room they brought it right away and they brought lots of it. My room was beautiful and I slept really well. I had a gorgeous view of Atlanta and took many pictures to make my friends jealous. The best part for me was the next morning when I took a shower. I didn't know there were any hotels left that had such strong water pressure. I probably would have taken 3 showers had I known. My stay was perfect and I can't wait to come back.

Rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was attentive and friendly. The only complaint is that the room didn't cancel out noise very well; frequent sirens related to the hospital across the street ( and helicopters) and street noise (near the freeway). Had a beautiful view of downtown Atlanta.
