Just wow!! For a downtown hotel this place is ridiculous. Only thing that was up to par was valet. Stayed her during the cowboys vs Falcons game. The front desk was rude, no bellman, no urgency to help guest. I personally wouldn't stay here agian.

I stayed at this hotel for 26. It's located in a noisy area, dirt bikes motorcycles and cars racing up and down the streets all night. I dont mind treating myself to a nice drink but I do have a problem when a bartender over charges me for a drink. The moscow mule was listed on the menu for 9.00 when I recieved my bill it was 16.84. Never knew bartenders added their tips in with the price of drinks and you have to pay extra for the copper mug . I know every bar is different but this is a first. I brought a shot of Johhy Walker Blue the week before and the bartender didn't add his tip in the price. I Checked my bank account, the hotel charged me 9262.55 (double my hotel stay). Ive called this hotel 15 times, a lady or a guy with and accent answers the phone. I ask to speak with a manager and he/she puts me on hold, after 5min the line disconnects. Now my bank account is in overdraft because of this mess. This has happend to several of my coworkers along with having their Cars broken into. Its sad after 26 days of stressful training we have to deal with an issue like this. Hopefully other guest will have a better experience.

Very nice looking and clean hotel. Location is decent for being in Atlanta. The room doesn't come with a refrigerator, which is a basic feature that can make all the difference escpecially for extended stays. There is a tub, which is another small feature I always hope for, however the water comes out yellow so not sure if that'll be good... One final issue was that there are HBO pamplets on the night stands and channel numbers on the TV guide channel, but it's impossible to access those channels. When asking front desk about this, I was asked if I could go to those channels to which I said no, and she replied then I guess you don't get them and hung up. Aside from the annoyances the hotel isn't that bad compared to many others, and the attendant at the front desk when I checked in was very nice and helpful.

On 6/20/19, my 7 yr old daughter and I checked into the Crown Plaza @ Midtown for a 3 night stay due to being in an onsite wedding. A week prior to my stay, I chatted with an IHG agent that assured me my request for a microwave/refrigerator would be added to my reservation. I then received a confirmation email due to the new request. Upon check-in, the valet drivers looked at me and then walked into the hotel without acknowledging me. Eventually, 1 of the drivers sent a female clerk out who brought me a luggage carrier. She was very nice in helping me to load the carrier. Once inside the hotel, I noticed how nice the lobby, snack area, and restaurant was. There was a gentleman at the front desk talking to another female staff member as I walked up. I waited, and waited, then finally after several mins, the gentleman greeted me then proceeded to continue his conversation. As I continued to wait, a third staff member dressed in a suit popped his head out to compliment the shirt I was wearing. Eventually, the young man at the desk asked if I was meeting someone or if I needed to check in. Apparently the huge luggage carrier and I, standing in front of him for several mins was not obvious enough. So he finally checked me in. Once I stepped off the elevator onto the 10th floor, I immediately noticed how filthy the carpet was. I then entered my room and was greeted by an awful smell. The AC unit was old; the desk looked as if someone scratched it up with a knife then tried to cover it up with a black marker. The bathroom floor had black mold. Also, there was a white bubble of what I assumed was caulk on the bathroom wall. The overall room had an odor. Over the next 2 days I repeatedly asked for a microwave/refrigerator so I could save money on eating out. Unfortunately, I never received either. Other wedding guest, had dirty rooms, had to be moved to new rooms due to broken doors and were over charged. On 6/23/19, I woke up to find the "bubbled caulk" had grown out into 4 mushroom sprouts. I hurried and packed up to leave as I could not remain in that hotel any longer. I did not mention it to the front desk since they were less than helpful with my previous request. The only positives about this hotel is the location, nice lobby, conference room, and ballroom. I do NOT recommend this hotel as the mold is a health hazard.

The hotel staff was friendly, but the hotel has many minuses. The carpet in the room smells of un-washed feet, the rooms are not equipped with a minibar or fridge, and the hotel as a whole is quite dirty.
