Awful. I ordered off the early bird menu and the waitress put in the same entree under the regular menu which was twice the price and didn't come with soup or salad. Assuming the meal came with a soup, salad and desert I ordered accordingly and was eventually charged full price for all. They need to train their staff. Food wasn't good to make things worse.

Been here many times, love it here. Food is good. Last visit was just eh. We were upstairs because it was packed on the main floor. It wasn't so bad up there but felt too closed in. As always, we will be back.

Service people are great. I thought it a little pricey and there were some misses as far as what I had. Stuffed filet was marvelous. Omelette was a little lacking, but I am hard to please where it concerns omelettes. I will go back and perhaps it will get the fifth star...

I ordered mussels in red sauce with garlic bread. The mussels were miniscule and the garlic bread stale. The butter was excellent as was our waitress. Downstairs they had the music the band was really good.

We ordered calamari as appetizer and fish and chips both were disappointing. The calamari was over cooked and chewy, very small portion of hollow fish sticks. Very disappointing they went down hill since my last visit.

Summer or winter the Crabs Claw is a happening place. Great food and always lots of friendly people both staff and patrons. Poker on Mondays is always fun and the music on the weekends makes this a fun place to meet friends and enjoy dinner and cocktails.

I went to the Crabs Claw for my birthday dinner and was sadly disappointed. While the steamers we had for an appetizer were excellent, the entrees and drinks were lacking. Dinners looked beautiful but my panko encrusted red snapper was so overcooked it was actually hard. I told the waitress but she seemed unfazed.
UPDATE: My sister's credit card was also charged almost $300 for someone else's meal.

I've been coming here since I was too young to remember and it's still the very same! I always dog out my captains wafers from the bread basket and they have phenomenal blue cheese dressing! I'm local and in the winter it's the only game in town, great specials and activities to occupy yourself during a long winter. Ask for my friend Bernadette. She has worked there for years and is a lot of fun as well as being a great server! The specials are a lot of food and the price is right. If you want shellfish be prepared to pay market price but there is usually a coupon on their website for entrees. The value is in the specials and sometimes even have free bar food.

Literally the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had and we are visiting from Florida. So for me to find a Cuban sandwich in North Carolina that can grab the title of the best Cuban sandwich. That's impressive

My boyfriend and I came here because we heard the food and service was great. It s sad to say we were deeply disappointed with the quality of food and how overpriced it was. Our server was sweet and great to talk to, but the lobster bisque was watered down and not as flavorful as it could ve been. Moreover, he got the stuffed salmon which was tasteless and lacking any sort of flavor. I got a seafood scampi and was disappointed but how lacking it was as well. The seafood was fresh, which is great, but it could ve been cooked and seasoned to it s full potential for what you re paying for. Paid nearly 100 for two cups of soup and two entrees that had the quality of Applebee s 2 for 20. I don t recommend coming here for dinner for the sake of your wallet and expectations of what good seafood tastes like.

Not the same as it was a few years ago, the wait was long they don't take reservations ,the only reason I gave it 2 stars is the waiter was good . I had the triple crab steam pot it was overdone and rubbery my friend had ocean breeze the lobster was so rubbery it was not enjoyable . When you spend over a hundred bucks on a meal for 2 you would think it would be good I've had better lobster at outback for much less

Seafood platter was amazing. The only thing that took away from a 5-star experience was how cramped it was. I felt so bad bumping into people but it was unavoidable. Can't wait to go back when I visit Seaside again.

Food was great, and the area is nice, however, Server was pretty bad, forgot all our our salads and gave us the wrong drinks, we are good tippers so it hurt all the more when we gave 20% to some one undeserving.

One of the best experiences in dining I've had in a long time which gives them a 5 star rating. Relatives from Colorado were visiting this past week and suggested to stop and dine at this happening establishment. As soon as we entered we were able to sit right down and place our order. The atmosphere was happy, friendly and the scent of seafood cooking in the air. My father in law ate until he couldn't eat any more and he doesn't even eat at home like he did there. We all enjoyed our meals and were able to Walk to the car. This is on my list now as a frequent pleasurable dining hot spot with descent prices and a staff of fine employees that know how to treat people.

This is the greatest place to eat on the shore. My wife and I attend her family reunion every year and the food is amazing, service is amazing, and atmosphere is amazing. No place better, in my opinion!! 10 thumbs up!!

Took my daughter there for lunch and was disappointed. Seafood combo.. 2 Grilled shrimp cold dry couldn't cut. Fish was okay. Crab cake slightly warm .. Slightly warm Baked potato couldn't melt the butter. Waitress in training.. Didn't offer coffee dessert that was suppose to come with it. Ate here several times with no negatives. Not gapp with this visit.

The food and the service was great. My waitress was very friendly I forgot her name but I remember her hair it was long and all braided it looked really nice. They have a modified menu because of Covid so it s not the same as on there webpage. I had the stuffed flounder with crab meat which was definitely stuffed with chunks of crab meat, asparagus and mash potatoes that I think were instant only thing that I didn t like but still ate them my wife had the crab cakes a lot of crab meat not much filler. She said they were good. Kids had peel shrimp which they liked. Make sure you check the weather before you go it s out side dining. We went and it started lighting so we had to get our stuff to go. But I feel it s ok to be a little inconvenienced because we re trying to help out by eating out. I really fell for the restaurant Industry for having to jump through all these hoops to stay open because of all the Governments policies.

Sever was great but it went down hill from there. Ordered the seafood combination broiled and the only thing that tasted ok was the clams casino. No favor to the food even the baked potato was bad. Shrimp and fish
was bland. I don't know how they got such great rating. Just wanted to save others the disappointment and cost.

First of all we called at 6 asked if they had steamers they said yes we set up a 7 o'clock reservation when we got there they said we are out of Steam then I ordered steam pot of crab legs and king crab legs shrimp and clams and potatoes and sausage. The king crab legs and crab legs the shells were completely burned on one side the crab taste burnt. Potatoes in the pot were hard and raw everything had a burnt taste it was terrible they ruined a good meal. My son's wife had a dish with spaghetti and mussels and clams she was not happy with her meal at all.we spent $175 and $35 tip for a terrible meal I will never go back there and I do not recommend them
