Awesome organization! Worked as facilitator for one of their programs. Upper management was extremely supportive and invited ideas to help continued development of programming and staff.

Did the fatherhood program in may 2018, Ended up taking the cdl and was contacted within a day. Hopefully this time around the class is completed and I'll be driving across state line!

This my 2020 update, I have security license and needed employment, Derrick Silvers and his employees, especially Denise really helped me hit the pavement running. I went on countless interviews with many companies. The first interviewer was a reputable security company and they kept me coming for 8 different interviews as well as balancing other interviews in between. They helped me with clothing vouches and gave me mock interviews to strengthen my skills. One year later, at the same job, I m thankful to Jehovah God for giving me the courage to endure when I just wanted to cry. Strive never doubted my abilities and kept sending me out to different companies, I m writing this update because they are definitely worth working with. This program helps you to get on your feet and I ll tell you! This job, they are the ones that have the opportunities for those who are willing to work for them! Union employement, benefits, and healthcare couldn t just land into my lap without constant prayers and being humble enough to just work with them. Thank you Derrick Silvers! Denise and most of all, my Heavenly Father for the strength!

If you're stuck in lufe and dont know where you want to go in life, this place is a good start! They teach you EVERYTHING! Its free and very helpful!

The best thing about STRIVE, is all the money they pocket and all the demagogy banter. All they do is talk and bullshit.

Lets just say STRIVE CHANGED MY LIFE... LOVE EVERYONE THERE THAT WORKS THERE FUN SMART AND HELPFUL WITH ALL MY NEEDS... LOVE THE COURSE I GOT MY SECURITY LICENSE WITH THERE HELP.

Great people with good intentions for you they just won't help you unless they really want to.... I guess they pick and choose who to help I been involved with strive for 4 years and got one Job interview to a Starbucks which isnt even what i went to the strive program for......

I went for the construction program pass the test pass the interview started the program that Friday
When in a Friday to start classes and Maxine Gillies took me to a room sat me down and said she was going to put in the fathers program for a shorty time to get My osha 30 came back that Monday for the program come to find out they don t do it
So now the program don t know what to do with me
They re the most unprofessional people I ve ever seen and try to work with
Now it s Tuesday I m back to speak with Rochelle hopefully she can fix this

Ms Rochelle questions me like I was back in front the panel like I had to fight for something that I pass Now she s saying that I didn t pass the interview with the panel that It was a mistake and that s their sorry for their mistake huh
Ms Rochelle didn t made the situation no better and made me feel like I didn t deserve the opportunity that was already given to me

Thought it was a program for people that want to do better
I just wanted to do something better with my life

I worked for them and they make a difference in people's lives
