Very good experience well organized symphony orchestra to some of your favorite movies and music genres they are skill professionals and the Roy Thomson Hall has good atmosphere. Would recommend

Great Atmosphere and lives up to any event held there.

Beautiful venue, washroom requires a bit of navigation

Beautiful facility which matches the outstanding symphony that is the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

Always a pleasure to visit and listen. Never ordered any beverages though (prices very inflated due to nature of venue). Washroom is near the main entrance only. Seating is comfortable.

Went to see Jessie Reyez here, such a great venue! I would go back in a heart beat. You can get up close to the stage of you wish, or you can stand back and not be in the heat of the crowd. Absolutely great place to see a concert!

The Tiff red carpet vip suite was an amazing experience. Wow!

Very big and open space. Good seats everywhere. Great sound. Nice design. I've seen the TSO perform here and the sound quality was great.

Great acoustics. Great performers. The TSO is among the worlds best performers. With beautiful architecture, Roy Thompson Hall is located in Toronto's Entertainment District, in the heart of the downtown core. The venue is easily accessible via the Gardiner Expressway. Parking can be difficult. Consider taking GO Transit and the TTC subway. Food courts are located nearby. Overall, 10/10 rating.

Trying to purchase tickets to a concert at Roy Thomson. Sold out yet scalpers are selling them for 2x,3x.... the price - American pricing to boot!!!! Unfortunate that venues allow for this to happen. I thought with the Ticketmaster issue, that this issue would be curtailed - guess not!

The absolute best place to attend a concert in Toronto. Period.

Great acoustics. Not really a bad view in the place. The seats are a little small and could be more comfortable. The best thing? Concession stand is reasonably priced.

I was lucky enough to attend handles messiah on Dec 22.2018.I was pleasantly surprised at the performance by the orchestra and its soloists. The sound was great but the seating was what made it fantastic . this place is well designed and o recommend this place as a musical venue where every seat is a good seat.

They could use more signage as well as more ushers to assist finding your seat. The line for a drink at intermission was slow. Still, a really nice venue.

Any seat is great sound, we were 4th row on the far left. Great location to watch percussion, clearly. Toronto Symphony performance, 1st. Piece too newvouo, 2009 composer but with an Erie 40+50's b movie sound track, theme..2nd Beethoven 4th piano concerto nice. ,3rd Best was Belero excellent performance by all.

The Roy Thompson Hall is one of the largest theaters in Toronto. It housed the major films at the Toronto international film festival TIFF and has several levels.

There is plenty of parking garages nearby and public transport options.

Good venue to watch the tso. I think the venue would be better suited not in a movie format setting (with a screen) and instead as a normal symphony viewing. The seating provided you with great views of the stage even from the back row

The place is OK but I loved the premier screening of an animated short film while admiring the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. There was a pre-show in the lobby 30mins. before the actual show started.

Always great venue and if your a Star Wars fan, you have to go to the TSO Star Wars production. Wow, just simply wow...

This is another wonderful concert venue, inside and out, but most importantly home to The Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

Mediocre accoustics. You guys really need to see (I mean "hear") the Winspear in Edmonton or the Chan in Vancouver.
Excellent orchestra though. Probably the best I've heard.
Lots of good restaurants around.

Great acoustics! Regardless of where you sit, you'll be able to see and hear everything, but front and centre are the best seats.

One of the premier concert venues in the city, and rightly so! There's always something for you there, regardless of how exquisite and exotic your choice of music is. THE place to visit!

I attended an opera performance and it was a very enjoyable experience. The building itself is beautiful to walk around and the acoustics obviously have to be solid. What I really liked was how the TSO and the hall has made the art of music really accessible to everyone. There are often short lectures or talks before the performance so anyone may get a better understanding of the context of the music itself.

Excellent venue for live music, and of course the only place to see the TSO in concert. Roy Thompson Hall is one of the few places in Toronto that is beautiful both inside and out. You may even recognize it as the headquarters from the TV show 'The Boys'. Parking is available in an underground garage.

Quite fancy venue for many shows, music performances, and famous speakers. Usually anything in this building has a high ticket price. There's some cool locations inside for photography though.

Roy Thompson Hall - best place for concerts. Very comfortable, warm, well lit, amazing acoustics, and just great all round.

Went to ripleys and the parking near by was 35 bucks for an evening flat rate... drove up the street for a minute and found this gem of a parking lot for 10$!

Saw Shen Yun; absolutely chilling. Performance was top 3 musical shows I've been to ever.

A spotlight for the Arts and other events a like. A classy vibe with space for all. Ambient light and sound. Having been there as a performer, a graduate and to witness great performance i can say this spectacular bell shaped building will impress you regardless. Great memories.

Great place to attend a concert! Having visited many times, I can say that my experiences have always been positive. My only complaint is the price of snacks and the wait to purchase them.

I've been to many performances from music to debates and always enjoy the experience.

They lose points for the tiny screens they have available in the auditorium. The audience can not see anything on those screens

A modern concert hall with great acoustics & comfortable seating, it's home of the Toronto Symphony as well as host to a steady stream of international concerts and events.

This is by far one of the worst building!
It's glass roof produces huge light pollution. Everyone sitting in the towers around it are suffering everyday!

Great venue for concerts, but not set up for movies. The sound from the speakers echo and it's hard to hear the special effects at times. Needs a better sound system if movie showings become more of a staple. Overpriced popcorn and beverages. And there's almost always a lineup to the washroom.
Otherwise it's a nice location, close to everything.

It's a absolutely amazing place to perform the acoustics work great and the stage lights provide a spectacular experience

An incredible place for concerts and even small conferences.

Nice venue.
Parking is very expensive. Take the TTC when possible.
Not much food choices but outside the building there is no shortage of places to eat.
