A beautiful venue where the Toronto Symphony Orchestra typically performs. Sign up for TSoundcheck by going to their website for cheap performances if you are under 30. You'll be entitled to two tickets at that cheaper price and you can bring anyone of any age with you. It's a great bargain and a great way to get cultured!

A spectacular venue to enjoy world class performance and a great time with the amazing artists. This place has so much to offer: symphonies, operas, etc. and I have spent many fantastic nights here...Don't forget to visit Massey Hall where Pat Metheny and Jesse Cook play often...

The home stage of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Worth the 5 stars for that.

Although the venue can and hosts a multitude of over events, they are best known for the TSO.

The locale has an interesting architecture, arguably shaped like a massive, concrete and glass flan. It is artistic and yet a reminder of the simplistic Brutalist Movement , an architectural style which was all the rage during the 50-70's and today almost universally panned for its basic, usually geometric yet with almost no-frills cues.

However the park around it and the quality of its acts keeps this building alive and a hub for any art lovers in Toronto.

Beautiful venue for the TSO. There are so many wonderful shows here to visit. It's a stunning hall and tickets range between 40-100$'ish. Excellent place to bring a date, or to be pampered by high quality excellence of musical performance.

We attended a concert during Remembrance day . The concert was nice but little too long for my taste. Hour is good enough, the last hour i was restless especially when the music is monotone . But I liked the words as they could see them on the screen. Very poetic.

Needs more washrooms! Barely made it back to my seats after waiting in line during the entire intermission. It s bad for business too since it means customers have to make the choice of either the washroom or bar but not both.

Beautiful place to visit and take in some great performances. The only downside at the time of my visit was that the escalators from and to the Subway entrance didn't work. I assume this is a temporary issue.

Super amazing place with great accessibility and nearby cheap parking spots. Staff are very friendly. Sound quality is very good, probably could be heard better on Mezzanine. Air quality and odor in the hall could also get improved.

good room, good services, great acoustics. from his personal cold, distant, even rude attention. one caregiver for each segment of the room. as if the honorable were a criminal. it is a pity. the rest well

Fantastic venue for live music. There isn't a bad seat in the house. It is the red carpet movie premiere venue for TIFF.
Lots of restaurants in the Entertainment District, TTC stop, connected to the PATH.

Terrible sound. Can not hear any bass at all. There were six double bass playing and I cant hear any sound from them. Same for bass from Piano too. Not sure if it is the design of the hall that allows bass frequency to escape. Overall, very poor experience. Will not go there any more.

Roy Thomson Hall, MCC Toronto's Christmas Eve Special!

For ME, I honestly do Not Remember ever seeing a show at Roy Thomson Hall, but it might have been possible when I was a child in school. I still do Not remember, however, just the other day both Lori Sand and myself got invited to see the Annual MCC Toronto's Christmas Eve Show which has been going on for the past 28 years!

This was definitely a Perfect Way To Spend Christmas Eve!

The Roy Thomson Hall is quite large and Very Beautiful by the way!

Furthermore, The Show was so Inspirational, Spiritual and Overall was a Very Positive and Moving Experience!

Part of the service was an Important Dedication to Reverend Dr. Brent Hawkes who is officially retiring after putting in 40 years of service with the Metropolitan Community Church.

We attended TSO programs for a few years and visited Roy Thomson Hall a lot. Different Orchestras performed from all over the world, different conductors, piano and violin artists performed and we always satisfied with visit. Well organized. Neat place. Good service and very nice staff.
