Wish the dance floor were larger. But its hard to find danceable music anywhere else at 6:30!!!! On a tuesday. Ez in. Ez out. Great acts.

Really enjoyed the music and the venue. Got pretty packed and hot tho. Definitely recommend!

SXSW won't be here...or anywhere in Austin, in 2020, but the music isn't going away. A packed show is the norm as is great music. Come out an check out this great music venue!

Great venue for live music... located in the very hip SoCo neighborhood in Austin.

This review is for the gallery: small, intimate bar with great music... It can be loud though, so not the spot for a quiet date night!

Loved this place. The band (Buenas Diaz) were incredible, the stage/setting and vibe all added to the great service and drink selection. Make sure you go here! Only downside was the men s washroom cubicle didn t lock but sure that s a temporary thing.

Upstairs bar is great. Has a ping pong table. Very cool.

You can catch some awesome artists there in regular rotation. Mondays at 6:30 with The Peterson Brothers are great!

I've seen so many great bands here, it is probably a crime in some states. The world famous Continental Club is a must go to place for visitors and locals alike...and don't forget to say hi to the Shimmy Queen!

A place to catch a live band while grabbing a cheap drink. Continental club is an Austin staple and needs to be visited at least once by every resident and tourist.

I love the Continental Club. In 24 years that I have been in attendance, it has stayed the same great venue.

What a great room. I walked in and could feel that greatness has been there and is there!

We paid cover and they would not let us back in. Despite the fresh stamps on our hands, the door man wanted us to pay cover again. Disappointing customer service.

Awesome, classy venue for a Tuesday night. Music was fantastic and the beer was cold and cheap. Cover was 10 bucks and well worth it

Probably at one time, was a good music venue. The building now looks and feels run down and Paar its prime it needs a massive updating and repairs

Wonderful small intimate live venue located right on the main street of South Congress. Excellent sound system. Few seats inside so arrive way to claim your place. Lots of neighborhood restaurants to go to before the show, all in walking distance of The Club. Excellent shows, we will be back.

Saw The Paladins play last night (4/12/19) and if was AWESOME! Our names were on the list for friends of the band and we got in with no hassle, anytime we went to get drinks, we were at the bar for less than a minute before being helped (considering it was a packed house, that's AWESOME!), bathrooms were clean... ish... And we had a great time. I'll DEFINITELY be back there again!

Great music and service in an intimate music setting

I don't begrudge anyone who loves this place, but not my type of scene. Country music and the stale smell of cigarettes embedded in the walls are not for me.

Aw man what a bar. Aw man what a venue. The best bar. The best venue. Got to see McMurtry, drink a Lonestar, Jamiesons, smoke a big ol' cigar on the way home. Basically live out all my Kinky Friedman fantasies. Love it. LOVE IT.

Exactly what you expect it to be. Leave your hoyty toyty-nres at the door! This place is all about the people, and the music.

Amazingly cheap cover and drinks for a really great show. Saw Dale Watson and it was a ton of fun. Highly recommend popping into this renowned venue.

Always great music and I think free entrance before 9 (but you'll have to pay if you stay for the 10pm show)

This was the highlight of my trip! Unbelievable prices - or free! for live music. Heard 3 excellent bands in 2 days. Feel like it's a bit of living history to be there. Fun crowd too. Started telling my drivers to make sure they recommend it to people.

Went to see Dale Watson. To small and crowded didnt have any room to dance. They had about four tables to sit at and other then that had to stand in a large crowd. If there was a fire I dont think would have turned out well for the patrons. The staff and bartenders were awesome though! Now if you are a Texan you know you have to dance to Dale Watson when he is on stage.

Cool venue and loved the local bands that came to perform.

Great place to listen some really good local artist and see plenty of nation wide shows in an intimate club

For such a historic music venue you would thing the sound would be a lot better. But it is quite the vibe.

On that block I have grown so much as a musician, thanks to old Joe.

It fantastic, excellent food,staff are very good, if you come for happy-hour you will love.
