I love The Common Table but on Sunday for Hip Hop brunch we want to hear better music. The music used to be really good but you guys changed it. Now it s almost like house music. Please go back to how it was before. People come for the music and vibes on Sunday.

Wow! They rolled out the red carpet for us. We let them know that this was our first time dining with them. The Chef visited our table to assure that we were pleased with the meal. The servers were very attentive, and knowledgeable about menu flavors and drink pairings.

Our bartender was the best. Rare find for atmosphere and service.

Hubby and I went for a Saturday dinner with a reservation from OpenTable. We were seated immediately at one of the tables inside. Service started out a little slow but ended up being very good as our meal progressed. Our food was brought out with good timing, our water glasses were routinely refilled, as were our beverages, and the server was attentive but not annoying, and he was clearly very busy. I really appreciated the team service of food and drink delivery which always helps with timing, and the whole staff was friendly and courteous.

The food was really good. Best pretzel bites we have ever had with beer cheese that wasn't overly spicy - we're definitely going back just because of those. Hubby's burger was great, according to him - loved the egg option. My veggie risotto was tasty as well.

Drinks are pricey, but considering the location, not overpriced. I had the Spring Fling, a muddled berries and champagne concoction, and a peach mojito. Both were tasty and not watered down. Server's suggestion for hubby's beer substitution was spot on.

Atmosphere is vibrant and very casual - good background music and sports on the indoor TVs. Overall, a good evening. We'll be back.

Excellent atmosphere and great food to go with the kind service. This is no doubt a wonderful stop for lunch if any kind, business or personal.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, FROM THE MANAGER ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE HOSTESSES... no social distancing, OVER CAPACITY, NO MASKS, we were a large group that made a reservation a week in advance for my birthday and were treated like we were beneath them, they didn t even give us a table to fit all 9 of our guests, then when we left to find a place that would service all 9 of us, they called me and threatened to call the police over an UNTOUCHED mimosa pitcher that i hadn t even ordered, they were so disrespectful and rude i will never ever step foot in this establishment and if you value yourself YOU WILL NOT EITHER, to the owner, your manager Lisa needs to be fired as well as both the hostesses and whoever took our reservation a week in advanced... i have never been treated like this in my life

Yes I ve been there before but the lady is disrespectful and she told me to get off the end the booth... but also the waiter Chris C is a A GREAT waiter!

Great craft beer selection, awesome whiskey selection, and great food from the kitchen. No complaints at all about this place. I have been at least 10 times and is one of my favorite places at The Star.

I had the ribs, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The ribs and potatoes were very good. The coleslaw was too peppery. Service and atmosphere were excellent.

Fun relaxed environment - we went to watch football.

The environment is really nice for hiphop brunch but its very crowded on the inside and there is definitely no social distancing. We enjoy the food and have always had great service but they really need to do a better job with social distancing seating for customers and employees.

Wayyyyyyy toooooooo loud!! Omg. I get it people want to watch the game but i seriously had a headache from how loud the tv was with the fan right in my face. Don t expect to have any conversations with anyone from how damn loud the tv is. Service sucks honestly and the place doesn t seem too clean.

Visited the hip hop brunch. Food and drinks were great and the music was great as well.

The chicken fried ribeye was extremely salty. Not a good place for me.

Awesome service. Great house made chips. The beer cheese is EVERYTHING. Great vibe/atmosphere!! I will come back again and again. The beer selection is also really good!! Nothing bad to say about this experience!!

It was a nice Sports Bar Atmosphere, however, a little loud. The food was tasty.

This is becoming my local spot when staying in the area for work. Attentive service, good food, and ample beverage selection make for a good spot to spend an evening.

Wife and I stopped by for one drink after dinner at Tupelo Honey. Ordered a specific margarita (3 ingredients) the bartender ignored what we asked for and made it her own way and when we asked for the drink made the way we ordered it she was completely rude and walked away mid- converaation. For a new restaraunt that had maybe 4 people at the bar, you would think they would try to be more accommodating. Management needs to train on cusyomer service!!

We went on a Sunday for the prime rib special, good was good, staff was friendly and the trivia was fun!

When we arrived, we did not have a reservation. There was a question about whether or not we would be seated even though there were probably 7 or 8 open tables. We were finally seated after promising to leave by a certain time.

The pot pie was good. I highly recommend it. The caprese pasta sauce was a bit runny. All of the sauce was at the bottom.

Our two items were wonderful. Grilled cheese with sliced pork loin, and chicken pot pie.

Delicious hip hop brunch on Sunday! Staff squeezed my big group in without question. Service was good, good was delicious and place was packed! Music was jumping! All positive vibes!

The food at this restaurant is very good and almost gourmet. The service we received sitting on the patio was horrible. We dined at this restaurant on a Sunday and there was not a line or a wait so I'm not sure why there was an issue. There were other people on the patio and diners at three different tables left before they even ordered after having to sit for so long before getting service. The hostess looked like she didn't want to be at work and she was less than courteous. Maybe I just shouldn't expect four or five star service at a bar/eatery it's sad.....

Pretty good food and service. Our main courses were good, a few of our mixed drinks were watered down and not very strong. This is a casual place so if you're in a rush I would not recommend going here.

Great food...very fresh just a bit over priced but I guess it's because it's located in the star. Dine-in is much better fit the quality of food. Service was as expected. Love they have gluten and healthy options!!

First time here. The food (like the Fairmount location) is just outstanding. I had blackened chicken over cheddar grits and eggs over easy with a cajun hollandaise sauce. The craft beer and craft cocltail selection is also phenomenal like the Fairmount location. I prefer the atmosphere much better, but that's being nit picky. Cheers!

The service was okay because the server kept forgetting items and I received the wrong food but he was pleasant. My biggest complaint is that there is no social distancing on the patio. It bendable very crowded and me and my guests immediately requested our ticket to leave. They need to make this a safer environment to visit during a pandemic

The food and drinks are good. BUT heaven forbid you come in with a group. Be ready to do the job of your server and the establishment.

20 people and they were not able to break down what everyone had ordered separately. So when big long tab came around for pay.. it took 20+ minutes of arguing with servers and brought in the manager because WE AS A CUSTOMER are having to do THEIR job by figuring out who had what and what each is to pay.

I ve worked in the industry and never once heard of such a thing. It ruined the entire experience and definitely will not go back because it. Management needs to change this because you lost 15-20 customers from coming back just because of that nonsense! Went from a good fun time to a headache and lots of problems.

Good selection of beers, sadly they have a really poor costumer service. Last night i was giving this place a second chance but the bartender decided to steal from me. My bill for one beer was $7.79 i gave her a 20 she gave me seven dollars back & proceeded to ignore me. I guess she needs it more than i do. I been in the service industry for 13 years this is the first time that i see this type of selective costumer service Don t waste your time in this place if you are not white. If you don t believe me go at night and just watch them pick and choose their costumers

Came to a Yelp event: a series of food dishes came out as we tried them. I tried the white and red skittles sangrias. Really pretty to look at. Typical sangria BUT with skittles at the bottom! Pretzel with cheese fondu was really tasty; nicely evenly salted. My favorite dish was the bison meatballs. Very tasty! Atmosphere is chilled with their seating outside. 4 stars because of menu price.

Food tastes great :) Nice atmosphere with a lot of sports screening on the inside, and sprinkler on the outside seating .

It had a really interesting vibe and the chicken and waffles was killer.

My husband came here last week with a few friends and he raves about the experience and could t wait to bring me. However, when he brought me I had a completely different experience. When we first walked in the hostess barley greeted us and didn t make any eye contact as she was preparing to direct us to an outside table. With the weather being over 90 degrees of course we preferred to sit inside, but she didn t give us the offer. When we asked about it, she rudely informed us that there was no availability. We decided to sit outside, and she sat us at a table in direct sunlight that was attached to a sopping wet cushioned bench even though there were other shaded tables available. We ended up leaving and I ll never go back there.

I loved it amazing food and great customer service. Enjoyed the music as well.

Cute atmosphere, waitress was so friendly. I loved the chips appitizer.

The first time I went to the hiphop brunch it was great, but things have changed... The service was bad the food was cold, and both the food and drinks took a long time to come out, and the staff was very stand-offish and rude , it was just not a good experience yesterday, although there was a male waiter who was a ball of sunshine thank you for putting a smile on our faces.... I hope things get better....

*update: i have had their brunch menu, and i have to say that i truly enjoyed the offerings, and the pitchers for your adult drinks. I have changed my review from 3 to 4 stars. The service was great and the food was amazing. See below for why I still can t give it 5 stars.
Go in on a Sunday at 2pm expecting to have a late lunch. Unfortunately they don t serve lunch-dinner menu items until 4pm. They only served their brunch menu items. We decided not to eat there because of this reason. Most places that serve brunch will also still make lunch menu items by 11 or 12.
What was even more entertaining was that the people who sat down in the booth right before us also left right before we arrived for the exact same reason. Will update when I actually get to enjoy the food I ve heard such good things about.

Best place for brunch from what I've encountered. Service here is amazing and the food... Well don't even get me started. Ive had it all and would eat it all again :)) the bar is exquisite and servers are top notch !

Great beer selection and service. Check out the monday Pour Man's dinner. Four courses of deliciousness with solid beer parings.

Brunch is great. Who ever makes the strawberry n creme waffles is amazing. Also my daughter had a parfait yogurt fruit plate which was delicious. Good service and food, nice music as well. Im a fan of the brunch menu, the Cobb salad was made beautiful and tasty. I recommend this to anyone who has a taste for the common american dish. I wish they served brunch everyday. Good place here

Lot of options for tap beer. Tct burger was delicious

Great atmosphere. Higher than normal prices and you will want to use closest parking garage as those on street are few and far in between. Mostly after work crowd but friendly. Servers and bar a bit slow on service.

It's a low key place that actually stays open past 9pm! Wow what a novel idea. So really it's open until 2am and has a great ambiance. And the waiters and bartenders are great. They don't have the full menu available all night but they do have a late night menu and it has pretty good food. Inside and outside seating along with big TV's makes it a great place to watch any sort of sports or kick back and relax. And most importantly, it's clean! Highly recommended for a casual quick drink and snack to a full meal with seating for a party of 20.

Terrible. I wished this had been a good experience but there are too many problems here for this establishment to survive. No service for 45 minutes for a group of 15. Let birds bus a table behind us for 90 minutes. Finally got food. Meat light pink, very undercooked, had to be sent back. I asked how much a double would cost vs a single and she said um...double . When the service vanished again for 30 minutes I went to the bar for a drink. They overcharged me without showing me a tab. When I pointed this out they said just wait here and I ll give you a credit and started serving other customers. Charged us a gratuity. Save your money and go nearly anywhere else in Plano/Frisco.

We had a GREAT experience. My wife and daughter split the $20 prime rib special and I had my own. It was delicious!! Perfectly done and seasoned. There was a $2 charge to split the special, but they split the meat in half horizontal, instead of vertical. The wife had the blueberry and mint infused vodka mule and loved it. Great place!

It took a while for anyone to come to our table to see if we wanted something to drink. The food was very good. But the music was way too loud so it was hard for us to talk.

Good food and wait staff is excellent. Their reservation policy is the worst. We've been a party of six and have been kicked out of the table each of the 3x we've been there. We have ordered full meals and many drinks, but each time we were asked to move to allow a reservation our table even though there were other empty tables which could accommodate. For this reason, we will not go here again. It's too bad because the food, music, and wait staff are excellent. The hostess or mgmt policy are not.

Met some friends here for dinner and drinks. Good food...lots of craft beer selections to choose from. My favorite was the hummus with pita chips.

Everything from the brunch we had was delicious and the drinks wow definitely will be back!! Try their bloody Mary with Tito's it won't disappoint!
