Eh... Went there for the first time today, wanting lunch items I'd seen when scoping out their menu online. It was 2PM on a Saturday. They were ONLY doing brunch (no signage posted saying this would be our only option). Since we'd already waited, and since they refused to let me order lunch (already had breakfast), we begrudgingly ordered off their brunch menu. It was horrible, y'all. My wife's grilled cheese was literally tasteless. My chicken fried steak was more fatty than lean. If brunch is this bad, we won't be trying their lunch after all! I'm thinking their main draw is their alcoholic beverages, because their food was subpar. The wait staff was nice, that's why they get a star. Otherwise, I couldn't rate since zero stars isn't an option.

Loved it!! The Star has some serious restaurant competition going on, but this place is iconic! I had the grouper sandwich and tried the chicken and dumplings (not traditional).. Wowzers! So tasty and delicious! Went for a business lunch..here's a tip to beat the crowds..Go during the week for lunch!
