I was here for a professional event. The staff was attentive and courteous, the premises were clean and well arranged, and the view was nice. Not sure if the hotel itself provided the food. It wasn't anything to write home about, but the desserts were nice.

Beautiful! We stopped in for lunch and toured the lobby and public areas. Elegant, comfortable and very pleasant staff. The location is perfect for any downtown fun activities. Next time, we'll stay.
I was there for the first time this week and very impressed with the beauty of the hotel. I was most impressed with the call I received Wednesday saying I left my $200 glasses there and they would ship them to me. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the fed ex package to also find my $175 bluetooth headphones in there as well. Your honest employees made my whole weekend.
I stayed here with a large group for a week long conference. The rooms are very nice and clean. It s one of the nicest hotels I ve stayed at yet. They offer complimentary coffee service delivered to your room every morning upon request. They also have a restaurant downstairs if you don t feel like venturing out.
It s located just two blocks away from the convention center, easy walking distance. We were able to walk every day since that s where our conference was held. It s a higher priced option but the location and service is worth it.
Place was over priced. Room was mediocre and they charge 25 dollars per night for parking. After dropping 1000 for one night, you would think parking would be free. We won t come back. We will be staying at The Skirvin next time. We spent over 500 at the restaurant. The lady at the front desk was rude when we inquired about receiving free valet because we dined at the restaurant, as advertised. One of the ladies was going to remove it but the rude attendant stepped in and refused. I m sure their manager would be disappointed they treated guests in this manner.
Had a great experience at this hotel. Service was excellent. They have a shuttle that will drop you off at various parts of the city, great turndown service with cookies and a weather report, and the room service food was so good. Beautiful old buildings with updated clean and contemporary rooms.
I recently had drinks at Flint, the hotel restaurant. The atmosphere was pretty standard for a downtown hotel, but it was quiet and the street view was nice. The cocktail menu was pricey but innovative. I enjoyed something called a "Lilly Hammer," but then I was served a mojito that tasted strangely of sour mix, so I recommend sticking to the menu.
We have stayed at The Colcord twice in the last year. Both times were absolutely amazing, the rooms are clean and luxurious and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend The Colcord and would give them 10 stars.
The hotel was decent, we stayed in one of the suites and I was not really impressed. This hotel is low on amenities and this was the biggest issue. The jacuzzi was very small and shallow which made it very difficult for my wife and I to both relax and we are pretty small statured people. I am 5'9" 170 and she is significantly smaller than myself. There was no mini bar in the room at all and we did not even have a microwave lol. I'm sorry but for 400.00 plus a night this is just unacceptable. The restaurant "Flint" is also unimpressive with a very minimal selection. High points were customer service quiet atmosphere. I don't think we will be back, however the experience was not horrible. This hotel is definitely pretty overrated.
Stayed in a corner king room. The room was great. A lot of space in the room a nice deep tub and a great view. Also with complementry tea or coffee delivered in the morning. Great stay and the staff were all very nice and helpful.
Simply the best hotel in Oklahoma city. The bedrooms are very spacious, beautifully decorated with great taste and nothing skimped and a great bathroom, although the name is a misnomer as there isn't a bath, but an excellent shower. There lobby and other rooms are again very stylish, a nice patio and bar too. Some superb wines available. The restaurant, called Flints provides high quality food. The only negative about Flints is the time it takes to get breakfast. 40 minutes is far too long and although the food is very good, there is no point having the best eggs benedict if you have to gobble them or leave them ( if you cannot eat as fast as me!) due to a following engagement. The Concord also looks as great from the outside as it does inside. The staff are also excellent, attentive and helpful and genuinely nice people. So absolutely deserves 5 stars, just leave plenty of time for breakfast, then you will be able to appreciate this too
We stayed 2 nights at the Colcord Hotel so we could see Neil Diamond in concert at the arena. This is a wonderful hotel... it is newly decorated in a stylish and sophisticated theme. The rooms are nicely decorated and large enough... which is a problem in some hotels... The staff are helpful, professional, and courteous. We felt very welcome throughout our visit. Everyone on staff was professional... everyone! They also have a lovely restaurant -- Flint-- which is first rate in all ways. And right across the street from the hotel is Myriad Botanical Gardens! Beautiful!! We will return. Can't say enough, and the rates are certainly reasonable!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room is large and well laid out with plenty of storage, a small loveseat and chair, and a work station. WiFi is easy to connect to and a significant number of channels are available if channel surfing interests you. The bathroom is large and the expansive walk-in shower had terrific water pressure. There are plenty of food options available within walking distance though there is a considerable amount of downtown construction. All of this comes at a price, but I highly recommend nonetheless.
Guest service was the worst I have experienced anywhere, ever! I had two encounters with Denisha at the front desk and she was the worst hotel employee I have ever experienced in my decades of national and international travel,
I found her inhospitable, insincere, arrogant, and dishonest.
Robert (Front Office Supervisor) did a great job of turning a disastrous guest experience around but unfortunately too much damage had already been done by Denisha for me to recommend this property.
Ladies at the front desk, demanded I wear a mask that specifically states on the box "does NOT protect against Covid," or I will be asked to leave the hotel. I am unable to wear a mask due to medical conditions. Staff was super rude, and consending. Very disappointed .......
My wife and I stayed at the Colcord Hotel for our first anniversary in May 2013. We booked our room and paid in advance directly from the hotel website, gaining a $40 discount per night. The hotel itself is beautiful with elegant stylings from the early 20th century updated with modern conveniences in recent renovations. We purchased the smallest king suite and yet were amazed at the amount of space in our room. We had enough room to fit another king bed in the living space! Similarly, our friends' room had a plenty of space to spare, though laid out differently. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The only thing the hotel lacks is solid amenities outside the room, however, in the middle of the downtown business district and short walk from Bricktown, it's mostly a non-issue.
Though an extreme circumstance, we were in the hotel during the tornados of May 31, 2013 that passed through south OKC. The staff alerted us through the intercom system in the rooms that a tornado warning was issued and it was time to take shelter. They provided the alert about 10-15 minutes before it would reach the hotel. We took the stairs and were calmly and kindly directed to the basement tunnels, reassured that everything would be okay. The staff passed out water bottles and retrieved banquet chairs for the guests. After the threat had passed, they let us out to return to our rooms. It was all handled professionally and safely.
Other Pros: Technology - the hotel offers free Wi-Fi with decent speeds throughout the hotel and rooms. Additionally, the HDTV actually has HD channels instead of standard definition channels stretched to fill the screen (common at hotels). The TV listing includes about 110 channels with the HBO suite of movies. Newspapers - Free local (Oklahoman) and national (USA Today and Wall Street Journal). Shuttle - one of the bellhops will drive you to any location downtown (within a mile or two). We had them take us to our dinner at The Melting Pot in Bricktown. They use a GMC Envoy so it's a nice ride. Parking - parking is actually affordable at $7 per day in the garage across the street. It's $20 per day for the valet to park your car.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Stunning walls and counters throughout the building. The room was large with a king-size bed and a chaise lounge. The service was top-notch. When you check in you automatically schedule a complimentary coffee and or tea delivery for the mornings that you are there and the coffee is delicious.
I went to the Colcord for brunch on the patio. The food was delicious: berries and yoghurt, veggie quiche, fresh fruit, pastries, breakfast potatoes, juices, coffee. The patio is a great place to socialize in a group in a beautiful atmosphere. Dress for the temp--it got rather toasty by 11 am.
Awesome and convenient location! The staff is super friendly and helpful even at 1in the morning. Not a bad price for the beautiful corner room we have. Valet is Great and cheap parking garage across the road. The Gardens are right across the road as well. Amazing atmosphere throughout the building. Caring and acomedating room service. Restaurant was great!
A truly amazing place to stay! Rooms were clean and modern; it felt more like a ritzy apartment than a hotel. We ended up staying in one of the suites on the 8th floor and I was probably in that jacuzzi tub every night! No complaints at all, I was really happy with the experience!
Our food in the diner on the floor level was not very good. The food was cold and it took a while to get everything out to us. Our server was extremely nice though
After a wedding @ bricktown, too drunk to drive,of course, stayed in corner suite so tastefully decorated ,excellent staff, room service OK. Def 1st class cause Devon only goes first class!! Beautiful art deco hotel built orig for oil co employees, remodeled for hotel guests.
Good rooms, complimentary coffee in the morning. They do not bring you new water bottles or refill your shower gel etc on a daily basis unless you ask each day which gets annoying if you stay for several days.
Nice location right next to the botanical gardens.
Nice place.... Treats you not so nicely. I was charged more than the room cost to rent for one night because they found green stuff in their garbage. They claimed it was Cannabis (even though there was no smell or evidence for them finding anything). I reasonably tried to contact them to hopefully fix things. I was told that additional cleaning had to be done to the room so they can't give my money back. They IGNORE ME past this point, don't send me picture evidence that they used against me but wouldn't present to me, and they were rude along every MID-STEP.
I don't know about "cannabis" or even "green stuff".... because I don't inspect how my trash looks after I throw it away lol... but they essentially ROBBED me for 250 dollars. No evidence given, not even the reciept that would HAVE TO BE SOMEWHERE for the "additional cleaning".
I LOVED the place.... I won't say anything negatively (besides that the shower pressure was super weird and a few times per shower needed to pull the lever up again to make the water go through the shower head) because besides the concierge/ front desk and their immediate "higher ups"; I found the place PHYSICALLY lovely.
I would burn on a stake before I ended up back in this hotel just because of the workers (everyone besides the literal person who drove our car to us and ONE of the restaurant employs.).
Nice hotel. Handsome, spacious rooms. Walking distance to Devon Energy, Bricktown, and The Thunder. Not a fan of the turn down service (why turn on my TV for me?). Hot water was an issue for others from my company but it wasn't a big deal for me.
A gorgeous hotel, and the staff is very helpful. I had some problems checking in and Shenica was extremely patient and diligent, and was able to figure out the problem AND get me into a room a few hours early.
The room was pretty but the mattress was hard and uncomfortable, also the pillows went flat quickly. We ate breakfast at the "Flint" restaurant and was not impressed at all.
For getting shampoo or something like that; front desk said come and pick them up from here because there is no one to bring them for you. Paid for 4 star hotel but get 1 star hotel service.
Loved this hotel...friendly and helpful staff. We were there for a week and they made this experience a great one. They don't have microwaves in the room however if you inquire about it they will bring it to your room. There's a nice hotel downstairs and it's walking a distance from the arena
Excellent service! The valet guys were able to direct me to my party with service and a smile. The staff are willing to assist in any way possible, which made my stay enjoyable
The Colcord is a Beautiful Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Oklahoma City Downtown.
Rooms are Very Quiet & Well Appointed.
The Valet Staff is Awesome.
This Hotel is Right Across a Splendid Park & Botanical Gardens....Amazing Place to Go Walk & Click Amazing Pics.
Colcord is Also Walking Distance to Bricktown...The Pulse of Downtown Oklahoma City. A place Lined With Tons of Restaurants With a Canal Running Through It.
Highly Recommend this Hotel to All that Want to Enjoy the Best Of Oklahoma City
The service was exceptional, the hotel was alright. Our room initially smelled like disgusting stale cigarette smoke, but the staff remedied the issue and also waived our valet fee for the day which was nice of them! The ambiance was cool, but the accommodations were not worth the price, in my opinion. I know it's historic, but the whole hotel had a nasty musty smell that made everything feel unclean. I don't think I'd stay here again, but it was cool for a weekend getaway!
After driving into Oklahoma City just before 2:00am from Texas, getting confirmation from the hotel twice over the phone to make sure everything was going to be okay when arriving for check in, already charged for the wrong day and for their Colcord Suite(2nd most expensive room) with a no show fee added, was still waiting for that to be refunded, and was to attend my brother's wedding the following day. I was told by a SUPERVISOR that even though I was already checked in I could NOT stay. With NO EXPLANATION. I had no where else to go and every other hotel nearby was booked. I drove around the city until 4:00am looking for somewhere to stay. I also had my puppy with me who eventually got car sick and we ended up driving back home. With no sleep, shower, or food since we didn't get a chance to settle in. I missed my brother's entire wedding. I have spoken with their director of operations who told me that I was supposed to get a room that evening and would hear back from their GM BLANE THOMPSON, but have not. It has been over a week now. This is not a 4 star hotel and unless you do not oppose to this hotel/business allowing blatant discrimination . I suggest the OMNI being built across from them or until their opening, the 21c Museum and The Skirvin Hilton might be a good choice. Colcord Hotel management has poor customer service, terrible communication skills, and obviously no sense of discernment .
Is a good hotel. What i did not like was that upon check out they gave me a check out receipt were the charge me 25dollars for valet parking " without even advising me first, before the charge" apart from that, is a great hotel.
My best friend stayed overnight for her wedding this last weekend. I was there to help her get ready before the event. The room was beautiful! The front desk staff was friendly. We ordered room service over the phone and they were quite prompt. Then, when we were gathering to drive to the venue the staff was observant enough to notice that we would need to make two trips with our car and offer us a complimentary ride- in a lexus. After the event they returned to pick us up as well :)
This is our favorite place to stay when in OKC. The rooms are beautiful, the beds comfortable and the service is impeccable. Upscale boutique luxury in a historic setting.
Best hotel in OKC. From the guys at the front door to the service staff everyone is super polite and helpful. Amazing rooms. The suites are amazing and huge!
First time staying here and it's been exactly as I expected: great. Staff is very friendly, room is clean and spacious, the view is nice, and best of all is the location; so many fun things to do within walking distance! Do yourself a favor and stay here if you're in the area. You won't regret it.
