It's a beautiful hotel in every way. Decor is top class staff were very friendly food was devine both dinner and breakfast and very reasonable we only had one night but we will definitely be back for longer when it reopens

A Beautiful scenic place. I was just picking up a client and bringing them back to Dublin & thought, someday i will hopefully get to spend a night or 2 in this beautiful place.

Fantastic hotel the Superior Waterfront Room was just absolutely beautiful couldn't fault it, beautiful balcony overlooking the lake,the decor of the room was also amazing,tapas and dinner was very good,the staff were all very friendly,I cannot wait to return

Stayed in lakeview rooms very disappointed as no privacy as front section went on to water ,people from adjoining room climbing barrier in front of our room to go swimming

waterfront rooms are amazing. only downside is room where breakfast is served like been back in the eighties.

Stunning location, view from the front. Staff went the extra mile with welcome gift and card on a special occasion for us.

Excellent service from the waiting staff and bar staff. Hard to judge food based on sandwiches and soups, however the soda bread was rather dry and crumbly. But each of us enjoyed soup/chowder. The hotel has really really improved by upgrade and service over the past year and it is great when home to have somewhere decent to go in Killaloe. It would be nice to see the bar menu get a freshen up as I feel it doesn t do justice to the food quality or property and seems somewhat tired/dated and lacks good fresh, simple lunch options.

Easy to access and use. The guest passes are great for trying it out before signing up or for visitors.

Good family friendly hotel. Staff is nice, room is good for the family and the pool with the slide is great. Also very good breakfast.

Would never stay here again, We were told we could have early access to our rooms to change, But this was a lie, we were given a room that was not cleaned, the beds were not made, No clean towels only used. We were then given our proper rooms at 3 o clock, which when i proceeded to open my hotel room, I found two guests were already in our room having Coffee. Not only did this happen to me but to several other guests that stayed that night.

Food is really good and the prices are fair. Staff are polite too

Outstanding accommodation! Not only a normally fantastic hotel, with a great view of the lake, solid breakfast, comfortable rooms and bespoke customer service, but they have outstanding COVID-19 protocol. In all days spent at the hotel I've seen many situations where the hotel was strictly following COVID-19 regulations. It is comforting to see that some businesses are operating at such high standard. I could not recommend a better place to stay in these troubled times.

Acoustic isolation in the rooms and water pressure could be improved, but these are minor factors overall.

Excellent in every way service food and staff very helpful

Decided to have lunch out with my wife as part of our stay cation! & chose the Lakeside Hotel which is only about an hours drive from home and through the beautiful Irish countryside!!!
Arriving at the hotel we found the car park nearly full but we found a space. Going into the dining room we each ordered a very reasonably priced beer battered fish and chips and were very impressed with the quality and the service, we were served by a good team of waitresses who were very helpful, particularly as I am partially disabled. The food was excellent and well served. I think that we'll be going back there during the "stay cation"
