Stayed in the waterfront lakeside suite for 5 nights and was well worth the price. Unbelievably comfort beds great hospitality and a huge bedroom with a view of the lake both up and down with seats on the balcony. Bathroom was huge with a separate shower and bath much more appealing and safer to use than a shower in the bath in other rooms in the hotel. Would reccomend to book suites if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway for 2 nights or more. Food on the other hand was brilliant and overall atmosphere was amazing. Staff were very accommodating and offered to bring our bags from the car to the private entrance of the waterfront suites in shocking stormy weather. Unfortunately there's always a catch, the catch was the waterfront suites were sperate from the actual hotel meaning you had to walk outside to the main hotel for breakfast. Although it certainly woke you up!

Fabulous hotel in an amazing location. This hotel is a beautiful place to stay with a picturesque view from the front door and from the restaurant. The room was the nicest I have seen out of any hotel I have stayed in. The town and local amenities are breath taking. This hotel and town in general really are a hidden gem. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall I could not say a wrong word about this establishment.

Nice location. Room we were in windows were dripping with condensation. Friendly service. Difficult to get rollator into hotel. Uneven surfaces. Nice view of lake and new building right in front of it.

We only stayed one night but the experience was very nice. The hotel is very clean, the lady at the reception is very nice, the service also. We ordered breakfast in the room, it was very tasty, lots of choice. We had room 206 overlooking the lake just a shame it was raining . I am impressed and will definitely come back again.

The staff couldn't be more Friendly and welcoming. Hotel is based in an absolutely gorgeous location for natral views and nature all around. The town is definitely small and quiet. The hotel is really nice and full of character but could use a little updating, especially with their windows as they are single glazed and allow the cold to enter. The room is lovely and cosy but due to the storm we felt it was a little cold. Over all, it's really nice for familys and couples to get away from busy lifestyle. We needed a place to come and relax, and this hotel was definitely the place to come for piece and quite. Breakfast was nice and the pricing of our stay was really reasonable. Would recommend it and definitely stay here again but maybe not in the winter.

Nice hotel in the picturesque Killaloe, very good breakfast and unobtrusive, but always available service. Very clean rooms and many amenities for the guests (always fresh towels on request, adapters, etc.) I felt very comfortable here.

Fabulous !

Fabulous !

Our room overlooked the restaurant extractor (very noisy). We asked to change it, the very friendly receptionist immediately offered us another very quiet room with a view of the lake.
Everything was perfect !
The proximity to the lake and the city are very practical and pleasant.
The exceptional breakfast!

We stayed here for 3 days for a wedding in Wood & Bell restaurant in Killaloe (must visit). The service of The Lakeside Hotel is superb. The only remark i have was that i orderd on the last day an bruchetta with mozzarella with sundried tomatos. It was just a half and small bruchetta for 8,50 this was absolutely overpriced!

Just back from a relaxing two night stay. A family of 5 accomodated in a double and 3 singles (ages 2,9,11) in a spacious room. Corridors were quiet at night which was great too.Easter eggs for the kids was a lovely treat. We ate in the bar Monday evening, very busy, service slow but food was tasty. Breakfast was plentiful both mornings too. Staff were lovely. (a lovely lady on housekeeping gave us plenty of ideas on entertainment). The swimming pool was brilliant for adults and kids alike. The area in general fab.
