Shocking customer service. I have been without my freezer for over a week now and it's only 3 months old!
No idea if or when an engineer is likely to call?
Will never buy this brand again! Certainly can not be recommended. Avoid buying this brand as they can't offer an acceptable service when the appliance fails.
I have a PC52 American fridge freezer and an SK700 oven from CDA, they're both great.
Customer service is absolutely dire. Bought an extractor hood which is good but needed spare part. I ordered in September 18 and was told that it would be "in next week " for 4 months! Part never supplied and money refunded. Do yourself a favour and avoid this firm. Buy from a firm with a reputable after sales service.
A slick web site well scripted passages extolling the quality of their product and after care service proved, in my case, to be a work of fiction. Customer service is not total quality it is totally appalling.
Avoid all appliances. In 6 months they've been out for my oven which was over heating. My induction hob as only two rings work and now my dishwasher heater pump has packed in.
Kitchen taps only 18 months old and the cold tap has completely fallen off . Reported mid November and chased several times. still not resolved. I've been on hold at the customer care dept for 48 minutes as the Manager is too busy on the computer and won't speak to me.
Terrible service! Dreadful! They clearly don't care if they receive bad reviews, they don't care at all! Our brand new microwave stop working and we have been on the phone with them for the past month trying to get them to send someone to fix it. They always come with an excuse: first there's was no appointment booked with the agent engineer from Prestige company, I call this company and thats what they said: no appointment was booked! Then it was because of the snow, then the most ridiculous excuse was: the engineer couldn't find a Car Park!!!!! Seriously!??? They told me the solution for this problem is to make sure that there's going to be a car park!!! again seriously!!! we are a business in central London, how are we responsible for making sure there's going to be a car park??????? This is the engineer responsibility. Don't buy from them, there's only bad reviews! clearly they don't care! So please stay away don't waste your money and your time to be stressful and frustrated for a company who doesn't care at all!!!!!!!
Getting no where fast with CDA. Long waits on the phone during COVID-19 I can cope with. Polite staff is a bonus but now approaching 6 weeks without an oven because they keep sending wrong parts. I can almost build a new oven with the amount of parts arriving. Not sure why it has been so difficult to send me a main oven fan. One more go getting the correct part (which every time takes 4-5 days to arrive), then I am pushing for a brand new oven!

Rung up customer service today and was in a queue at number fourteen thirty minutes later I had got to number one in the queue and was CUT OFF gave up after that.

Purchased a single oven from Appliance City, we had a power cut and the oven wouldn't work afterwards. CDA responded next day with an engineer, the oven had a safety feature I needed to turn off (which was in the manual). Slightly embarrassing, however really impressed with CDA's speed to sort out my mishap and no charge. Thank you.
Free gym at work more like lift 150+ kg and break your back. No induction or training just go in and lift fridges freezers etc. Got rid after a accident with no follow up whatsoever so not only severe back pain but no job either

I have been trying to get a microwave in my kitchen sorted from the very start of February ....it is now April. The microwave isn t even a year old.
Last minute cancellation after cancellation of engineer visits. When I say last minute I mean less than an hour before the engineer is meant to start. I have changed shifts several times and even taken days off work unpaid to suit them, Im a key working during the present situation, where again I had to change my shifts for today, to be told 40mins before appointment it s been cancelled again.
Where is the customer service? It s either non existent or they all need sacked and replaced with competent workers.
I will be contacting trading standards to report this company, and will also be taking legal action as soon as possible to seek full compensation for my time wasted and work I have missed out on because of them.

I Bought a CDA HGC622BL Gas hob less than 2 years ago which started playing up within 2 months of installation. CDA had tried to repair it several times, but have since had to replace it.
Regrettably the replacement hob is also defective as one of the control knobs kept coming off. CDA promptly replaced the knob, however this replacement knob keeps coming off also.
The customer service team did their best to resolve the issues with the appliances, however their efforts are not enough.
I'm afraid cannot recommend their appliances. Not had such trouble with other cookers ever before.
Fine until something goes wrong and then their customer service is completely non existent. They can't even be bothered to respond to my complaint and I have 8 properties full of their appliances. To give you an idea of how unreliable their products are, in the last 4 years, I have had to replace, 1x dishwasher, 1x washer dryer, 1x oven, 1x extractor hood and had probably 5 or 6 repair call outs. I had their taps in every kitchen and ALL of them have now been replaced as the bracket that holds the tap upright at the bottom had broken on all of them, over a period of 2 years. At the last call out, they didn't even fix the issue. Many of the fridge shelf trims have broken and they can't supply replacements as this model is discontinued. It will be a crime against nature to put all these fridges into landfill when they actually work, just because I can't get replacement shelves for them. Needless to say, I will not be buying from them again and I would not recommend them.

Appalling customer service! Surely the MD/CEO reads the social media reviews? If he does, he should be ashamed of his business and himself for allowing this to continue.
Really poor customer service. We purchased a new Oven from CDA - it was faulty upon arrival. CDA initially refused to replace it and insisted on sending an engineer out. Fully knowing what the model oven we had the engineer did not come with the correct parts and tried to botch a fix. As the engineer was signing of the job the problem (a noisy fan) returned. The engineer then filed a report saying he would return to fix the job when he had the required parts and that CDA would be incontact. No one from CDA made contact. In the end my Kitchen fitter had to chase the company up - who were still unwilling to replace a faulty oven instead insisting on sending another engineer out with a replacement fan. Considering this is a brand new oven we found this unacceptable and demanded a replacement. CDA refused. Luckily my kitchen fitter had a big order with CDA and cancelled the rest of the order. In under an hour the regional sales manager has contact my kitchen fitter to find out why the order had been cancelled. Once the problem was explained he arranged for a new oven to be delivered the next week and the old oven to be removed. If we had not had such a big order - we'd still be dealing with CDA's terrible customer service.
Faulty dishwasher ; less than 3 months old 2 attempts to fix it 3 weeks later and many conversations they are sending new 1 to be fitted at my expense ; customer service is terrible; wrote on there Facebook page today I saw they had removed all the negative feedback I put ; I have never put reviews on any sites before ; but this company is so bad I feel I need to warn future buyers do not buy there products; AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL; if I cold give minus I would ; they have blocked me customer services shame on you if you have nothing to hide reinstate comments !!
Lovely man came to fix my sons washer 5 star service today.
We purchased our oven not even 6 months ago and already it has broke. We still had it under warranty and had to wait over a week for an engineer to come out only to be told that he doesn't have the parts to fix it and I had to call back up CDA to arrange another appointment. I've now waited another two weeks (as the part had to be shipped in from Poland) to be told I need to wait till next Friday for someone to come out and fix my oven! It's taken so long it's absolutely ridiculous. I would NOT recccomend using this company, appalling customer service and clearly sells FAULTY products on a regular basis going by other reviews!
My oven is less than 4 months old needs a new seal for the door, had to try to call customer service got cut off 3 times once I know was deliberate as she forgot to mute her mic said oops giggled then I get a dead line! Phoned head office to be told that high winds could have cut me off yet was on the phone to there HO for 40 minutes! (There ho is the same building as there customer service) they wanted 99 pound for a callout to a oven that's less than 4 months old! Utter joke im off to trading standards first thing! CDA avoid at all costs
I bought the built in VM 450 oven and microwave, the problem is it is only designed to go in certain built in units, when I put it in the space where my old oven came from(also a microwave and oven), it got so hot it cracked my marble work top. Customer services refused to replace it, so i am left with a very dangerous appliance. will never use CDA again.
Bought a cooker hood from a company supplied by CDA on Amazon, stopped working completely after 3 months, 12 months later and 4 attempted repairs i still dont have a working cooker hood. CDA have the worst customer service i have ever known, keep passing the buck to the retailer, Ship it appliances ltd ( the company they supply on amazon) who in turn pass it back to CDA. Don't have anything to do with this company or the retailer, they are both as bad as none of them want to take responsibility for a defective appliance bought in good faith. Terrible attitude from so called customer service, NEVER AGAIN!
Dire customer service, do not buy anything from them! Cooler was manufactured with incorrect door. More chance of getting Elvis out to sort it! Even though the fault is entirely theirs they expect me to fit a new door myself!!
Dreadful, dreadful after service. Our 18 month old fridge freezer completely stopped working. Binned all the stuff and contacted CDA for someone to visit to repair. They gave me the next available appointment over TWO WEEKS away. So what should we do in between? Frankly, they don't care. I wish I'd known this before buying from them. Extremely disappointed. Oh, and no obvious link to a customer complaint area on their website.

Not the best appliances. Several of our products have developed faults within the first year or two, so I wouldn't buy a CDA machine again. The only thing that has worked well has been the dishwasher.
Spot on service. Had an issue with a missing part for my hob, customer service were polite, friendly and helpful, I had a replacement part sent to me free of charge within a matter of days... I was expecting it to take much longer!
Has to be one of the worst customer services experiences I have ever had. Customer service staff are friendly and pleasant but the process in which faults are dealt with is a joke. The use of third party repair companies means if they cancel the repair job, you have to book the repair again with CDA. If you like being on the phone/ on-hold a lot then maybe a CDA appliance is for you. That being said, of the two appliances I have the CDA oven gets things hot and the CDA Fridge keeps things cool... Pretty standard stuff but prey they don't develop a fault otherwise you'll be stuck listening to the same on-hold music day after day after day trying to get the issue solved.
Terrible service . Would give zero stars if possible. 4 cancellations tilll now, all on the day of the engineers visit. Unprofessional and absolutely no accountability.

I have been reading all reviews about CDA appliances and was suprised their were so many 1 stars .
My flush exstractor fans motor was stalling just after instlation, CDA customer Servises were first class, engineers arrived within a few days and ordered a new motor which was fitted to my time frame . The engineers that did my job were some of the best I have seen . The rest of my appliances are all Neff, I wish now they were all CDA
CDA got me out missing part in no time. Happy with them now. Review changed from 1 star to 5 star.
