We actually ate at the Boonfly Cafe. Always a plea...
We actually ate at the Boonfly Cafe. Always a pleasure. We stop by here yearly on the way to Napa.

We went there for my parents 50th Anniversary. The first thing we saw upon getting out of an awesome shuttle we booked ahead of time was a gerbil rooting around in a tree root. I don't know if they are wild or somebody wasn't felling it. The entry was satisfactory and the intake process was grand. There was a nice fire on water fountain out front with some interesting processes happening inside of it.
I love the layout of the resort, but don't walk down the asphalt streets without shoes on. I had to take them off for some reason or another. My wife enjoyed the trip so super much. I enjoyed the massage at the Awe Spa. Very relaxing. The cottage we stayed in was perfect. I liked the setup. It was linear back to the bathroom. They had an outside shower, but I forgot to try it. There is a small courtyard/patio/atrium/grassy mole/outside area attached to each cottage. We spent some time out there at our parent's cottage.
While eating at the Farm, a restaurant that flanks the check-in area, there was an electrical outage due to a car crash that took out a transformer down the way. We didn't get the main course for this reason, just salad and cold desserts. They were apologetic and we weren't unhappy, but other customers were. What can they do in that situation? The power was back on a couple of hours later, but another outage happened the next morning. They had something akin to outside shuffleboard but it had rained and they hadn't installed any drains in the alleyways supporting that game.
Came here for a wedding and the service was top notch. First we were carted from the entrance to the cocktail hour located via golf cart. There we sipped on cocktails and devoured oysters and lambchops. Next we moved to another location for a awesome dinner under the stars. My NY strip was good but my wives chickens was possibly the best I've ever had. From there we moved insider for dancing and the drinks did not stop flowing.
Great location, service and food! Chicken drumsticks are fantastic!
Honeymoon: We loved our stay here . The grounds are amazing. The cottage is out of Pottery Barn and the service and food were amazing . We are now loyal and will spend our Anniversary each year at this wonderful gem . Cheers !
Beautiful property. Our first day we met Jeremy at the Hilltop restaurant. As a client liaison he couldn t be more pleasant and accommodating. Wildfires surrounding Napa had affected our plans and he helped us devise an alternative strategy for our stay.
He has a bright future in the hospitality business and is a fine representation of this fantastic resort
Service was great, would recommend this venue for your event or stay.
Most romantic wedding spot ever. Dinner was great. Service was exceptional.
Excellent resort not too far from the City. Beautiful setting and landscaping. Great pools. Service can be somewhat indifferent at times, but the quality of the rooms, beauty of the environment, and the surrounding vineyards make up for it.
Beautifully tranquil and romantic yet good for kids!
I'm not stay there here's the good place good food though a good little market all the stuff you need for a picnic pretty nice bar and very friendly staff
Ate at Boonefly. Always a treat. Always polite. Them mini donuts are dangerously addicting. And the fried chicken and waffles...wow.
Only there to eat at Boonfly Cafe. We did not stay there.
Love this place! Incredible property and amenities. Had a wonderful yoga instructor, Carolina. Highly recommend! Can t wait to get back!
Good dinning beautiful rooms more like one bedroom apartments very clean and cozy well maintained
AH PERFECT BLEND OF STYLISH WITH THE UNIQUE TASTE OF THE WINE COUNTRY SIDE OF NAPA & SONOMA VALLEY CALIFORNIA <);]
We dined at the cafe. Good food overall, though dishes were a bit bland. However, we agreed we would prefer underseasoned to over.
First time going there for my Birthday, and the place is top notch all the way around.
Stopped in to try and speak with reception to get info about a current already "paid for" reservation. Would not let me in the gate. Really went out of my way to get here and grab a sneak peak of the resort before my honeymoon in May. Incredibly disappointed.
Just cancelled my reservation in fact... You don't treat customers like that. I'll spend my hard earned dollars (3K) with folks that will appreciate them.
Wonderfully relaxing with a great accommodating staff. We had a mix up with our car service and the concierge, Taylor, went above and beyond to fix it. This place is worth every penny
It was a beautiful experience filled with ambient lighting, relaxed atmosphere and high-end food.
Beautiful location, great wine, friendly staff, no complaints.
We stayed here for a quick getaway this past weekend, which was also the first weekend the hotel has been open since the COVID pause. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the pool view is breathtaking, and the room at first glance is a little slice of heaven. I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars, trust me... after paying as much as I did I REALLY wanted to give the hotel 5 stars. However, considering this hotel has been open for as long as it has, there was a large amount of gaps identified during our stay.
1. Our room included the romance package, which comes with a bottle of wine. We called advising we have not received our bottle and was told one would be on the way. Never received it.
2. We called again (over 5 hours later) asking if our bottle had been delivered and maybe we had not seen it. Finally someone came into the room and dropped it off.
3. We didn't have a trashcan in our room the entire stay. We advised the gentleman who delivered our bottle we were missing a trashcan, he noted that we did not have one and said he would bring us one. We never got that trashcan and had to use our boon fly cafe to-go bag as the trashcan our entire stay.
4. Our outdoor shower door would not close. My husband had to hammer down the nail which was preventing the door from closing.
5. Never received our hotel invoice, we had to call days later requesting it be emailed to us.
6. We ordered from boon fly cafe, it took over an hour (quoted 30 mins) to receive our cold pizzas. Since it was late, we didn't even bother complaining and ate our cold pizza in our expensive hotel room.
Given this hotel costing a pretty penny, these issues are unacceptable considering this is not a brand new hotel. I personally wouldn't stay here again. You are better off staying at Solage in Calistoga, which is the same price.
Given all of the issues we experienced during our visit, Alice at the front desk deserves 5 stars. She was super accommodating and professional. Made the check-in process as easy as possible.
Very nice facilities, but a very uneasy atmosphere. Long waits for breakfast and for our room to be made when we arrived.
Great wine selection. Lawn games. Indoor and outdoor seating.
The food at Farm is crazy good and exceptional service.
It was a very good experience. I loved the layout of the property didn't really feel like a Hotel/Inn felt like a Village. Food and Drinks were Awsome! Staff was Professional and Eager to assist. I will return and recommend!
They give you wine when you arrive. Everything very clean and the staff are very nice. The room is very nice, nice full body shower with heated floors. Very good food and marketa where you can buy what you need or what you forgot. We will return to this place soon.
This place is so amazing. You must try the restaurant Farm when you are there as well.
Beautiful space and amazing dinner at The Farm restuarant. We are looking forward to returning and hopefully staying at the Inn next time.
Truly a fantastic experience. The staff across the board was beyond kind and accommodating. The grounds itself are pristine and really enjoyable just to explore. The adult-only pool is a perfect place to relax and post up for a bit. Food and drink were also very good and a nice selection. Loved that they have a small market on site to grab things as needed. View of the rolling hills and vineyards also beautiful for sunrise and sunset.
We had a minor blip with our room when the door lock wasn t functioning properly. The management s reaction to ensure we had a happy stay was very much appreciated and reflected their desire to truly have guests feel valued.
Would recommend for a couple that will be exploring wine country but does want a good bit of downtime and relaxing. It s great for folks that just want to enjoy the sun and hang. Did the Harvest Cottage. The outdoor fireplace was actually really nice in the evenings and the room itself was perfect for what we were looking for.
Also recommend a bike ride as there s a nice quiet ride among vineyards about 5 mins away. The staff can guide you there.
Would definitely go back!
Wonderful hotel. Great food, service, room and grounds. Can't wait to come back
This place is fabulous! The service is extraordinary, with friendly staffers from the reception area to the restaurant, and housekeeping. We stayed in the "Poppy #3" cottage. It was lovely. Great bed, fireplace, Nepresso coffee maker, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages in the mini fridge. To top it all off, there's a quaint little back yard/deck area with a completely private outdoor shower! There is also a shared pool and hot tub at the resort, and you can order breakfast to eat poolside! Delightful! Such a relaxing and tranquil experience!
Excellent champagnes. We had the champagne flight and the smoked salmon. The platter was tasty and complemented the champagne wonderfully. I'm not much of a wine guy, but this was a delightful surprise. The views are beautiful and pleaceful.
I want to start this review by noting that this was the nicest accommodation we have ever rented. We were welcomed with a glass of wine while we checked in. Our bungalow was then a short drive down a gated road. Our private back yard had a raised stone fire trough, some tables for outdoor meals, beach style reclining deck chairs for sunning during the day or star gazing beneath the overhead hear lamps at night, an open air soaking tub, and a shower with a nearby door leading to the interior bathroom. The bathroom had heated tile flooring for a warm post shower exit. The bungalow was a five minute walk from the top of the hill with the pool overlooking the nearby valley, a poolside restaurant and bar, the spa, and the infinity jacuzzi. Poolside drink service went until around 7:00. Our 1.5 hr massage melted away my worries and the steam sauna afterwards is an excellent way to soften up the skin for a good shave. We enjoyed both on site restaurants on different nights, but my favorite part was at the end of the night. Sitting in the dark and watching the sky while relaxing in a hot bath in our private back yard was a wonderful way to lose oneself in total relaxation. The concierge here set up our winery tour and arranged the car for us. When the driver failed to show up on time, the concierge then called ahead for us to modify our schedule at each winery so that we didn't have to worry about it. I am very satisfied with our stay here. For their cleanliness, friendliness, attentiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail I would happily recommend this resort to anyone visiting Sonoma.
I play in a band there. It's very nice. Good place to stay.
Another fantastic splurge meal at Boon Fly Cafe. I'm not proud of it, but I assure you we enjoyed the heck out of the onion rings, incredible soup, fish tacos and salad. And the mini doughnuts with warm chocolate dipping sauce? To die for. As always, great service - if you want something, at Boon Fly, you get it. It's that kind of place.
The Boonfly cafe will always be one of my favorite places to eat when visiting Napa.
Great food and the most friendly service. Highly recommended this resort!
Everything is great, but its a bit to pricy if not booked as an offer.
I was debating staying at the Calistoga Ranch, but opted for this.... The entrance of the hotel is not as magical as Calistoga Ranch but it is bright and open and perfect for a sunny hot weekend. It's a little far from St Helena but a beautiful drive. Hotel is kid friendly but kids are not allowed at the pool if that is a consideration for some.
I travel - ALOT - and this was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The cottages are really well appointed, and the indoor outdoor shower flow is great. I will definitely be staying here again.
The staff has been one of the best hotel/resort staffs we have ever experienced. Defnlintiely coming back and bringing friends.
Amazing food and wine selection in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
Terrible experience. Took us an hour to check in and it was very confusing finding our cottage. Would not even show us to our cottage after having to drive back and ask. Truck, maintenance and highway noise was horrible. We were awakened at 5:30 AM. Ruined the whole next day in the valley due to being exhausted. Sadly I mentioned this to the front desk staff and also a call to the manager with no apologies or any type of reimbursement of our nightly charge. BEWARE. Glamorized trailer park next to a busy highway, maintenance noise and a staff who doesn t give a squat about your quality of stay. Just want your money.
Outstanding customer service, my favorite place in Napa CA
The private residences are very nice. They are spacious and luxurious. They were great for entertaining.
Love this place. Great for a private, relaxing weekend.
Really liked the exterior of the resort. Had a lot of games to pass the time. Service was great
What a beautiful spot to spend a wine country trip. The whole farmhouse rustic look they are going for lands really well and the rooms are very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and always greeted us and our dog Scout while we stayed there. The food was a bit lackluster at each of the restaurants on site but it was still very good.
The individual cottages with their enclosed decks create a secluded atmosphere that we loved. The not-just-another-sprawling-resort atmosphere is added to by the clusters of cottages with open front porches that face a central courtyard. This place is heaven!
Great beers at the brewery! Presentation by Steve made it very special.
Experience wine country to the max, great place, excellent service
Super chic, California contemporary and manages to pull off family friendly while being romantic and elegant
My favorite resort in Napa. Beautiful pools and grounds, excellent food and above and beyond customer service. Wonderful staff that makes you feel so welcome.
Small brunch spot with great options. Wait won't be as long as Fremont
Gorgeous and nice distance to Napa. There was a farmer's market on Sunday morning.
