Wow! I was blown away at the level of service and drop- dead gorgeous property of this lovely luxury resort. We were a group of friends visiting Wine Country together and this hotel is not only perfectly located but also was so beautiful we almost didn t want to leave the grounds.

Beautiful little resort, with quaint yet modern cottages.

They have the most beautiful mornings and sunsets in Carneros, and the view from the pool can be stunning.

The location also offers a good number of wineries within walking, or bicycling distance.

Great stay. Eating breakfast outside by the pool was delightful and the views wonderful. Cottages were comfortable and nice. Our cottage could have used a little paint repair in spots. Property had a lot to offer.

Had an amazing time at the resort. The staff was very nice and the rooms were wonderful. Having a fenced in private backyard with fireplace, bathtub and shower was great. The heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch. The natural light in each room was great. We went to one yoga class which was fun.

The area is gorgeous. I spent 3 nights here when visiting wineries and Sonoma Speedway, the room was spacious and secluded with real fire place, the pool area nice and big but nowhere to hide from the sun but the flimsy smallish umbrellas, no trees around. Good Spa.
The main restaurant was always closed so we had to eat at the (great) cafe most of the time. We rented some bikes and explored the area, it was awesome. In general it was a good stay but the place is over rated.

Service not on par with the $1,200 per night price tag. The staff is weak, an indication of poor management from the top. Better managed under Plumpjack Group. Property and rooms still first class, meaning hardware is a 10. Software is a 4.

Very disappointed. Grossly overpriced. Service was a big miss from room not ready on time, staff not delivering on their promises, inefficient checkin. Room was ok, not stunning. Food was just ok.

Carneros Resort is a fabulous place to stay while visiting Nappa. It's rustic farm chic on a beautiful property. The rooms are like your own little cottages with plenty of outdoor space including an outdoor shower!

Simply the best. This is the closest to royalty I've ever experienced. Outdoor shower, outdoor bath, personal fireplace inside and outside, breakfast in the room every morning, and s'mores kits at night.

Didn't stay or utilize any of the Carneros Resort facilities but from what I could see I wouldnt have any hesitation to. I was driving home and I had seen the Boon Fly Cafe many times when passing. I won't ever pass again without stopping for eats. Eats or drinks for that matter, and I will visit there organic products store as well. Please see my separate review of the Boon Fly.

Great location and quite good service but in general it is over priced. Our room has issues - safe was not working, blue tooth speaker missing, no lighter for external fire pit, furniture coverings not removed. One would think that for the rates being charged someone would haven inspected the room prior to check in

In general poor value for money and we would not recommend. We are very discerning travelers having stayed at some of the worlds top hotels

The restaurant, Farm, at Carneros is amazing. Definitely my top brunch spot. The service is outstanding and the food is amazing. They have no problem catering to my gluten free needs and we always wake away satisfied.

Okay this place is cute, and in a beautiful setting, but it's seriously a trailer park. It's genius what they've done! It's cozy and comforting but not quite sure it's worth what they charge.

Great spot overall but starting to look a little run down. The headboard had stains on it and the bed springs could be felt on the best. For the price, I except them to keep up on these things.

The grounds are spectacular! The vegetation, the cabins, the walkways, the pool, this is the definition of perfection. Our first couple of nights were at the Cabral cabins, with a garden view, the cabin is super small but the amazing french doors and flowing white curtains, wooden private deck and garden area totally make up for it. Unbelievably zen! The birds chirping and the lovely shade that is created by the trees is so relaxing for the soul.
The restaurants are gorgeous, they have beautifully placed fire pits and the decor is straight out of a magazine. I had breakfast at the Boonfly, a triple stack of buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup, to die for. I don't eat meat but the Bacon Bloody Mary is famous and caught my eye! Not to mention the watermelon Mimosas, right on! And the service was impeccable.
I would have given this resort 5 stars had there not been a couple obvious things not on point.
We travel a lot, and especially in an area like this where everything is very spread out, the resort almost MUST have a private car that leaves the property: Taking its guests to dinner reservations, drop offs at nearby wineries. I'm not saying take guests to San Fran but a little flexibility would be nice. This isn't something too much to ask for as most if not all of the beautiful hotels we have stayed at, for the same price, have had a house car, or two, or three.
The second observation that has kept me from giving this resort 5 stars is "genuine" kindness. The front desk is nice, but seem to be trying really hard and also seem fake, it's a little snooty. A little uncomfortable making it difficult to approach them with questions. You never know who the guests are, where they come from, or where they have been, therefore treating everyone with sincere, kindness is a must.
Finally third! The hotel sits right next to the why, and yes unfortunately you can definitely hear it, very well. It's not terrible but it's there.
Overall I would definitely recommend this very beautiful, hotel to anyone and everyone! No resort is perfect, and these small issues that I observed won't keep me from coming back, this is a little piece of heaven.

We met in the dining room for drinks and discussion about an upcoming project. Service was prompt and polite, with attention paid to each table. The decor was warm and colorful with comfortable seating and clear lighting. A great place to meet!

Boonfly Cafe - my girlfriend and I went to dinner here because we heard all about the food. We ordered the fried chicken and the kobe burger. The chicken was dry and bland and the burger was decent. The service however was terrible. He barely checked on us, got our order wrong and when we asked to take our leftovers he didn't even pack it all. We had high expectations for this place but it was mediocre at best and probably won't be back again.

Over priced and aging somewhat - service is also not as top notch for the price of an overnight stay. Food is consistent and good but not great.

Starting to lose the value for the money paid. Updated spa was nice refresh from years back but massage therapists weren't as capable of sports massage / deep tissue as liked.

Still - the setting and grounds are special and there isn't a lot out there like Carneros - so keeping at four star despite my opening statements.

Stayed two nights early Sept in a two bedroom setup. 2018

We were honestly so excited for our stay at this place, our correspondence in advance was wonderful, they made accommodations for our dogs and were super prompt and attentive. Our experience on site was pretty much the opposite. There were almost no instructions to anything aside from a tiny map with our room key. We arrived around 5:30 and no one told us the market closed at 6,
I only found out after it was too late, after being forced to poke around on the website for any info about the property. Room service delivered us some wine in a paper bag with no ice (after I was told to go to the website to hunt around for a wine list). They proceeded to mess up our room service dinner order. Just honestly a very mediocre experience for what they are charging. Special property, very un-special experience.

Ate lunch at the Boon Fly Cafe on the property. Technically it was during their "mid-day" hours so the menu was abbreviated from the standard meal times. We were seated and then asked to move a few minutes later by the hostess...She was very apologetic but that whole thing was a little weird. I ordered a salad with no chicken since I'm vegan, and my two companions both got the BLT with side salad. The food was pretty good, but very pricey for what we received. Server was nice and accommodating. I probably wouldn't go back, but the experience wasn't necessarily bad...Just not good enough to forego trying other places in Napa.

Beautiful resort with stunning views. Luxurious cottages with indoor outdoor living. Bedroom opens to private courtyard with chaise lounges, fountain, outdoor tub and heaters for chilly evenings. Bathroom was also very well done, heated floors, large shower and jet tub. Restaurants were also excellent. Very impressed, will stay again.

Relaxed atmosphere. Think trailer park mixed with a gated community. Somewhat disappointing that they did not extend in-room dining beyond very standard hotel fare during COVID when not everyone may feel comfortable with indoor dining.

Had a wonderful time at the Carneros Resort. Courteous, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very well appointed two bedroom bungalow with patio, fireplaces, hot tub, kitchen. Lovely well kept grounds. Excellent room service. Close to places we wanted to visit. Highly recommended!
