Great service - especially during Covid level 2! They had it down to a fine art. Great table service and delicious food too.

Beautiful bar and nice to find places in town that play live music. Plenty of seating areas to chat and a great size dance floor

Quite nice Irish pub. Very stylish interior. Cosy atmosphere. Food is typical pubs food but tasty. Reservations required for Thursday-Sunday nights as it could be very busy. Staff is friendly. On Thursday s nights they ve got some trivia/quizes. Later at night live music.

Delicious and worth the money, waitress very attentive. Thank you.

Wee Lil gem with a few rough edges. Visited this place a few times but not enough to be a regular. Love the rock/country music but this seems to be the place for the people to go "hunting" for their prey. Cannot fault the place though. Drinks were normal price (not cheap or expensive). Music is normally good. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Been here a couple of times, it doesn't get any better. The food didn't arrive and the surly teenage barmaid wasn't intrested the place is dirty with flies and rubbish in the outside area. Could do with a makeover.

Fast friendly service. The burger and chips were served on a lovely big white plate (none of that wooden board and wire basket here.) There was a live Irish "band" playing which added to the overall experience.

Great food great service and atmosphere. Best pub to watch a game of footy or listen to one of the many great bands that play there

Great spot get the spicy wings a side of mash,gravey and cross cut fries. Its dipping magic with a pint. Great staff and the steak sandwich was a ripper!! Go now

A good Irish styled pub that attracts a good crowd, a friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff, food good pub grub. There was one time I stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon and it was v quiet in late summer. I chose to sit outside (despite it being a busyish road) as it s quite dark inside. There are two tables and one booth type table in the area I sat. When I went to the area there was a woman sitting in the booth table, the most comfortable of the seats. It appeared to me she was a staffer as she was drinking coke out of a plastic drink bottle. Shortly after a Scandinavian couple arrived and took the last table but from their comments they were also wondering why an employee was chilling in an area for paying customers. The owners should make sure staff have their own comfortable area where they can take their break. Hospitality standards in New Zealand can be ropey at times but there s an easy fix for this that is a win win for everyone.

Great service, delicious traditional Irish food. The only criticism is that the dancing on a Friday night starts at 11.45

Service was good but the food is very average. $25 for a Pork Roast that didn't have any crackling. Only silverbeet as vegetables and filled with mash potatoe. Sorry chef you ketting the rest if the team down.

Love this place! Events happening almost nightly, whether it's open mic, live music, or trivia, it's always great. The staff is always friendly and the food and drinks are always delicious.

Awesome a great atmosphere the staff are brilliant interacting with customers always smiling very quick service with drinks and meals the ribeye steak was superbly cooked Saturday night the band was good prices for meals and drinks very good plenty of car parking as well

Busy couldn't get a feed but was later on at night would have been the go to reserve a table great atmosphere friendly staff great service

Had some mouth watering pork ribs here. Its an old an hotel with a nice setting, very friendly staff too.

I have changed it to 4 stars as the food was average & the salad didn't seem very fresh but the staff member who served us on the Saturday night and seated us upstairs was awesome to deal with therefore 10/10 to her for awesome service :)

First day I went was great with Irish live band. But was shocking the next day 18/03 had a horrible band playing.

Went to this place last night, had a great time. The staff were lovely and the live music was really enjoyable. So much so that I could hardly have a drink before being asked to dance, with one of a few women whom kept asking my brother and I for a dance. As unlikely as it may be, that one of those beautiful women might read this, if you're the gorgeous Maori woman from the West Coast, then I'd love to hear from you again. Good night there gr8 service and good they hand out free water

Such a great place to visit, has become a regular tradition in our family every Tuesday for the live music. Staff are great, particularly the young waitress (pasifika girl I believe, sorry but didnt catch her name!). Very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious, particularly the glazed pork belly. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. As an american I was very confused with the choice of music. It was more of hip hop selection not something I assumed I would hear in a pub. I will come back if I am in the area. My pink Daiquiri was fantastic!

Hands down the best potato bacon soup I ever had and the cloudy apple cider on tap was all kinds of yummy. Definitely recommend.

Very disappointed with the meal here. Found it very lacking.
