Nice place beautiful atmosphere but way over priced

Went to get the seafood chowder as it used to be good but was very disappointed also ordered the nachos and was even more so
Don't recommend eating here

Nice venue with good drinks and last night live music

An aptly named Irish bar in the centre of Christchurch, only had 1 drink with my son after his shift. It seems to have a nice character inside with live music.

$15 rump steak lunch was cooked perfectly with tasty salad and fries. Very helpful, friendly staff. Will definitely be back, and the guiness was poured perfectly and just the right temp! Awesome!!

I love the interior and collectibles! My fish chowder was quite delicious. Would visit again and enjoy the view from the outdoor patio wharfside.

We went to the bog tonight had a generous roast for two and got a free dessert between us as it is our anniversary today. Great service and great food as usual

Staff is not experienced, Steak was not as ordered, Music is bad. A bad experience.

Great Irish pub! Delicious food! We got the Guinness Hot Pie and the Seafood Chowder along with Guinness and neither the food nor drinks disappointed. There was fantastic live music. The atmosphere was laid back, comfortable, and homey. Definitely a favorite place!

Going to the bog was a fairly spontaneous decision made because we wanted to try something new and it was a great decision!

We were made welcome and shown to our table promptly. They had a great atmosphere, it had a very fun, vibrant pub feel. The music was good and upbeat but a little on the loud side so don't go in expecting a quiet dining experience. They have a beautiful interior and it was very clean and had a very warm welcoming vibe. The bathrooms were also very nice and clean.

The staff were some of the best I have had the pleasure of being served by. They were pleasant and polite, they were very quick to remove used dishes and always nearby to assist us with any queries or requests and knew all of the specials without hesitation.
Everything on the menu sounded amazing and was reasonably priced. We ordered Garlic bread which had some of the creamiest, lightest and most amazing garlic butter I have ever had. The chicken noodle soup was cooked to perfection with all of the veggies being just right and the broth was amazing, i could have just had the soup broth for my meal and would still have been very satisfied.

I ordered the chicken schnitzel which was moist and delicious, my only issue with it was there not being enough mushroom sauce but that's mostly because it was so delicious. My partner ordered one of the steak dishes which was a fair bit tougher than it should have been but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the meal.

Overall a fantastic experience and we will have to go back again because i feel like i need to try everything on the menu.

Good beer and food and music but some of the staff ruin it by thinking it's all about them.

Excellet pub. Great atmosphere and huge selection of drinks...food is great quality irish pub food too....try the guiness pie...you wont regret it.

Absolutely beautiful! Went for lunch. HUGE portions. Fish and chips. Yum! Couldnt recommend more
