I've stayed here nearly 15 times in the last few years for work. Always clean and never had a problem. Not a fancy hotel but no complaints, other than the free breakfast isn't that good and the wifi can be weak.
Old & dated with low ceilings, outdated lighting, generic rooms. Otherwise clean with helpful people.
A normal stay at a normal hotel. Rooms are clean and the service is fine. Breakfast is decent but plain but starts early enough. We come to town every year for the Cyclocross race and like staying here.
Got the family room which was nice very spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room was fairly cold (it was November - thankfully they brought us a heater). Also the equipment in the workout area was in a state of poor repair. Enjoyed the pool.

Nice are closed to beautiful lakes and beaches. I enjoyed my stay in this cozy hotel with very nice and unique design. The breakfast was limited due to COVID. It wasn t the management s fault. In general I strongly recommend this hotel. Enjoy
They take extremely long to serve you bits of food now and then for the tasting dinners not impressed
We come here once a year, except this year, and you know what? I really missed it! Rooms are always great, pool is nice, and the breakfast is good as well. I will be back next summer!

DO NOT BELIEVE THE WEBSITE PICTURES!! This hotel is a scam. It is old and mouldy ( ceiling has mould marks) . It smells like cigarettes and strong chemical cleaners. Room is out dated with gnats flying every where, molded ceiling and slimy bath tubs. Pool is in the center Court where every one can see and take a peek of you. Pools itself is dirty and hot tub smells like old sewer and is moldy green in colour. Free breakfast is made of unidentified meat disguised as " sausage" . One waffle maker for over 30 people takes a very long wait for waffles. Old bread. Over all I will not return to this disgusting hotel.
Great first night. Check in was fast and smooth. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We had an issue with a lamp but they came and replaced it within 5 minutes. The free hot breakfast was the only letdown. No waffles, no bananas or bagels. The hot food was warm at best. Overall a really good experience. Will definitely stay again
No bathtub and a small shower in a large king room. Otherwise room was ok. Staff was polite. Management showed little concern for customers. Girlfriend fell on entrance stairs due to multiple saftey issues including broken handrail. Put a real damper on our long weekend get away. Didn't hear from manager for 4 days after reported to desk.
Very upsetting they don t offer Day Passes anymore for the Pool, Hot-tub or Sauna. It was a great way to relax when you are free.
It would be great if they reconsider an option as the Day pass again.
While the hotel is slightly dated the rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff was great and it'd very good value. Doors and walls are a little thin so you may hear noise from the hallways. Loved the pool and atrium area!

Parking lot was icy and was complained about multiple time and wasn't fixed. Know of a person who slipped and fell, went to hospital.
Second bed dirty in friends room, wasn't changed between guests (fresh makeup on sheets). Shower not cleaned in my room, blood on shower curtain. Curtain was old and worn.
Update: spoke to management and they shared their plan to address all issues. Did not deny or ignore any concerns. Bad experience, but ultimate response was positive.
Please book at the hotel directly as central reservations made a critical error on our booking. Fido needed a place to stay with us fir the night and central was told about our pet.
Got to the hotel to find out that there was only one smoking room left. We do not smoke. The hotel manager was great in accommodating our situation and we got a room for the night. She saved us from hunting fir a room late at night for us and our pet.

Use to stay frequently for business. Rooms ok. Service in need of much improvement!! Firstly, double booked my room and then charged my personal credit card for stay when they should have billed my company. Called to have reversed and not even an apology!! BW lost a loyal customer today.
One if my favourite hotels, great rates and large comfy rooms. The indoor pool was sweet to. Staff was wonderful.

Had a really nice stay there. Great amenities like pool hot tub and sauna. Breakfast was really good. Really attentive staff who gave us an extra bed quickly when we asked for one. Room have to be updated because the ac did not have a remote so had to keep getting up to change it.
We attended the Library Restaurant for dinner with friends. The service was very good. We had some challenges with one of the meals and the staff did everything to ensure it was corrected and we were happy. The final result was a great meal and an enjoyable time.
Competitive price and accomadating towards travel issues
Room was clean and we'll looked after. Nice to have a coffee machine and a fridge in the room. Breakfast was ok, but they needed more staff to keep it all refilled. Lovely pool. Nice staff at check in and especially the ladies who looked after our room. Hotel was convenient to everything.
The night clerk (Trish) really made the stay excellent. She was a wonderful help in the late hours and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and cared after. Truly lovely women. Breakfast was decent, room was spacious and clean and bed were reasonably comfy.
Nice place, clean, food all around here. Glad its open during this covid19 period. Limited hotels in the surrounding areas.

Your basic accommodation , rooms are large though bit a bit outdated , breakfast very basic one downside not close to downtown or the lake.
Everything was great... I just had a hard time sleeping in the bed.
Just returned from a three night stay fully relaxed. Very quite, friendly staff (thanks for help connecting to wifi), clean rooms and close to everything. The hot breakfast was great and dining in The Library Restaurant was amazing. Definitely returning
This is an old building that has gotten some cosmetic touch ups, but you can still tell it's past it's prime.
The pool & hot tub are located in a really large & interesting glass space that connects both sides of the hotel, but they were cloudy.
The service was substandard, as the staff seemed more interested in finding excuses as to why they couldn't do this or that, rather than making the customer happy.
The room was the best part, but the A/C seemed to suck in air from outside our room; where people were occasionally smoking cigarettes or joints. This stank up our room and when I tried to report it to staff on 2 occasions, they didn't answer the phone.
The WiFi and breakfast were good and saved this review from being a 2

Shower was terrible never got hot. Needs a renovation big time. Not sure how people w been rating this place 4 Stars, They must not travel. The place "seems" clean but not really sure. Staff is friendly.
Stayed for a week. Only issue we had was the air conditioning didn't stay at set temperature and would rise within a few hours so room would get hot (room was facing the pool). Spoke with manager and he offered discount and another room. We chose to stay in room as we didn't want to have to repack and possibly have same issue in another room. They provided a fan to us which helped and we just kept adjusting the AC for the remainder of the week. The pool and hot tub were great! The room was clean and the cleaning staff were amazing and friendly! The breakfast was good and was actual food..not just coffee and a muffin. Besides that one issue with the AC, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again!!

I've attended this conference centre for a charity event. The venue has a great layout and can accommodate for a large number of guests. The food was great and the audio video setup was good as well. My only knock is the parking lot setup isn't the greatest in winter time. I would recommend this venue for any big event.(wedding, concert, gala, etc)
Went for the seafood tasting menu at the Library. Soooo good!
Had a great stay.great view especially in morning.room was good size.tv lots of channels.pool was 6ft deep and in front of awsome windows and skylight.had a sauna (suggest pre heat).and hot tub(couple jets out).free hot breakfast with french toast sausage eggs and amazing taters.many different breads.would definitely go back was a real get away and I was just there passing through for work.

Quality Inn Midland was a good experience. Stayed two nights. This hotel used to be a best western. The rooms show a bit of age. Beds were comfy and clean so no problems there. Only gripe was the refrigerator has mold inside in the back, the toilet seat was pretty worn and yellow a bit underneath and the flush button did not work unless you held it down all the way until it completed its cycle. Breakfast was abundant with oatmeal,boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, french toast, sausages, waffles, yogurt, assorted bread, Danish and muffins along with several types of cereal. There were 3 juice types cranberry, Apple and orange juice. Tons of coffee and hot water. Was a pleasant dining experience. The library, which is a restaurant inside the hotel has lovely food. Every week they have a 7 course meal of different cuisines titled the tasting menu. AC in the room worked real well so that's a plus for those that like a good working AC. Location is right off a main road but entrance is through a side road so no issues getting in. Ample amount of parking so no worries there. Television is of decent size when you want to just relax in bed and watch. There are a bunch of tv channels to choose from but If you're into just the news you have CTV, city News, CNN and bnn. Other than the gripes, staff are friendly, unlimited coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day, rooms need a Reno but overall a good stay.

The staff at the front desk were really great and very helpful both days that we stayed there. The first morning (Monday) the cleaning staff were yelling to each other, one was at one end of the hall & the other staff was at a different end. They kept waking us up. Tuesday morning was great, no cleaning staff yelling. Breakfast was also really good.
The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hotel was affordable and conveniently located near by to a Wal-Mart, Tim Horton's, and Boston Pizza; among other establishments.
The rooms are average hotel rooms. Fine, clean. The smell in the lobby was wonderful. There were fresh roses in cases. My only complaint was the Female bartender was talking to 2young men at the bar. She was using the F word as if it was an adjective!! And she was loud! The lobby area is big and I was checking in. I said to the woman checking me in....wow your bartender has a nice mouth. She agreed with me. Im not a pride and use the F word as well....BUT NEVER IN A PUBLIC WORK ENVIRONMENT. And maybe not as much as she did. May be she should look at getting hired at some filthy back lane pub, might be more appropriate.
A sad old hotel in desperate need of an update. Definitely not at a plus level. My favorite part was the toilet not being bolted down to the floor properly.

Room was very dirty sand in the bed old soap left in shower 3 old pizza box plastic under the bed . . Place is very old out dated . Not worth staying at . Find a different place to stay .

The unique building made my stay memorable. The pool/breakfast area is a wonderful place to spend time. The room was also nice and very clean. Some parts of the room could use some updating. I appreciated the ice cold bar fridge and ample towels.
I liked staying here. Restaurant was very enjoyable, pool was refreshing. Breakfast was hot and you had a assortment of things to choose from. Also have a waffel machine.
The continental breakfast was simply gross. Thankfully there was enough juice there to tide me over, as the eggs were rubbery, and the waffle maker (which has a built-in timer) under-cooked the waffles severely.
The internet connection sucked, and I was able to get a better connection through my phone. :/
Also, they like to close the restaurant early, so be ready to walk across the street for some food.

Was there for a interview session. It was held in the North room (I forget exactly the name of the room.). Overall, the hotel is easily accessible, has many amenities, and kept nice and clean.

We had a great stay, great breakfast. But as we were going to leave our room, there were some bed bugs in our bed. Ruined our day trip. Check your hotel room not just when you arrive but also when you leave.
Decent. A little outdated but the beds aren't too bad. Mattresses getting a little saggy though. Don't drink the coffee in the room. It smelled really funky. Masks must be worn at all times in public areas. Nice that breakfast was included, however subpar. No sausages or ham or bacon. Just 2 hard boiled eggs each, cereal options, coffee, yogurt, toast, tiny muffins. Good sized pool and they stagger a fixed amount of guests per hour to practice safe social distancing. Must schedule pool time at reception. Hot tub closed off.
The gourmet meat was unbelievable. Best meal and menu I've had in a long time. Service was perfect. Brought out on the best timing.
The entertainment was Chris an accoustic guitar with the right songs at the right volume.
The Library restaurant is my every two week destination.

We really enjoyed our four nights stay.
The room was fantastic, the bathrooms were really great.The breakfasts were fantastic with great selection and really good food.Lots of room to sit and we were not rushed to get out so we could chat with other guests. The pool,hot tub,sauna and fitnes room were a great added feature.
We recommend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly staff. Having a full breakfast at this rate is nice. Rooms are as clean as can be but are very dated. Good place to stay for work but take the honeymoon elsewhere.
