St. Luke's Hospice Plymouth looked after my husband during his last hours. I have leaf on the tree in memory of him and I sponsor a light in the garden. I have done similar for my grandbaby Burt. I love to go there, have a chat with Andras and Burt then go into the cafe area with my little dog Kola, have a toastie and a drink and relax before walking home.
ST LUKE'S YOU ARE AMAZING AND SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BENEFITED FROM YOUR HOME AND IN-HOUSE CARING
Thank you

2018 my mother was here and sadly passed away. The staff are brilliant and can not be faulted in anyway. They made the whole experience manageable and when the inevitable happend they where full of compassion.

My mum was far from her dying bed, but under pressure agreed to go into this hospice. I was not allowed to see her for an hour or two on entering, but when I was eventually allowed in, I found my mother heavily heavily sedated and the nurses came regularly with more drugs they pumped onto her neck. Within a matter of hours my mother had gone from someone capable of walking around and talking to someone almost completely unconscious. Within 3 days she was dead, after leaving her house I was denied conversation with her in that this place had her comatosed.

My dad was an amazing man and I miss him so so much. In his last week before losing his battle to cancer St Lukes provided him with the care and pain relief he need whilst allowing us to be there every step of the way. St Lukes really do go above and beyond for what is a very hard time. I can't thank them enough

I could not have got through the last few weeks of my husband, David's, brain tumour treatment without the fantastic care given by the team last January and February. David was able to pass away at home, surrounded by all his family, without pain or fear. Thank you so much for everything.
