This is looking outside the window to Rama rd ..Days Inn

The breakfast was very lame. My sleep was quiet and peaceful drive to Casino Rama was very quick and easy from the hotel

Have stayed many times. And the staff is so amazing and nice. We needed a cot and they got one from another hotel for us. Amazing people and rooms very clean. I loved my stay and will definitely come again!!

Mixed feelings on this hotel.

The good points are that it was close to the Casino Rama, the rooms were clean, and staff are great.
This location is a typical hotel and has no sound proofing in its rooms. We were lucky that we stayed here at Christmas as there weren't many guests. Unfortunately we could clearly hear the family in the room above us.
We purposely got a room with a king bed , jacuzzi and fire place. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and fire place but not the bed.
It was the shortest king sized bed I've ever slept in. I'm 6'2" and my feet/ankles were over the edge of the bed. It made sleeping awkward.
Like most hotels the room can with free Wi-fi. Unfortunately the Wi-fi was incredibly slow and many web pages would time out. It was almost useless to use the internet to read the news, go on social media, etc.

Bathtub was clogged, no one was available to fix it

not consistent with service. 4 stay now and just getting worse each stay.

Went away for the night to Orillia to see a show with my mom and sister stayed at Days Inn and wouldn't recommend it EVER. Seems the whole hotel is extremely understaffed that aside it was by far the dirtiest room I've ever had the regret of staying in. So bad that after taking several pictures of the condition of our room and speaking to 4 staff and a manager ( who wasn't in for the day on a Sunday?) We finally got our room completely comped not before they seen several unsanitary surfaces and still tried charging us but at a lesser rate. Will not be back fair warning too at about 2 am the whole hotel smells like sausages that they start to cook then serve at 6 am. Oh and the pool and hot tub area are filthy too. Whole place doesn't even smell clean :/ 1 star only because you have to select at least 1 to post

Rooms on the ground floor are horrible ans bugs and gears a bunch of noise from the room above me

Clean quiet and comfortable. Was the only hotel available at the time. Would not go out of my way to return but it suited my needs at the time.

The room was comfortable, nothing fancy, but adequate. The shuttle service to and from the casino only runs until 8pm. After that and you have to walk back. It isn't far, but it is inconvenient.

Great staff. Pretty normal rooms. Standard breakfast. Renovations on main floor making a big difference. Great location for Casinorama. A bit of a drive to the town.

Hotel staff were wonderful. The rooms were spotless.

Horrible place for what you are paying. Walls are paper thin. Breakfast is horrible not even enough tables to sit for breakfast.

This is a nice mid range hotel, family style with comfy beds and friendly staff. A good breakfast is included and the coffee is fine. One perk is that while the pool is out of commission, you can show your room key at the Rama Casino and use their pool and facilities instead!
Be careful to call the Days Inn in Orillia and book a room BY PHONE. If you book online, you'll be booking in US Dollars, which is a surprise in the statement!!!
All in all, very pleasant and a good place to sleep.

We didn't like the smell of the hallway and room, strong scented fragrance spray smell, presumably to mask odour. Carpet was very worn, dirty looking. Housekeeping did a good job with cleanliness and supplies, so not their fault, but the room definitely needs updating.

I was very impressed when the front desk called to ask if everything was satisfactory with my room, which I was.
I came to see Foreigner at Casino Rama so I wasn't able to visit the pool or fitness center, maybe next time.
Free breakfast offered scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles you cook yourself, just pour the batter on the waffle iron and wait for the beep. Cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs , muffins and assorted drinks available too.
The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Thank you everyone at Days Inn, I will be back again.

Great beds!!! Clean rooms, staff was very efficient. Breakfast was nice and hot. Only thing is the $8 limo ride per group each way to the casino that is across the street... I find it a little steep considering alot hotels farther away give it complementary I believe.

The hotel itself was very good. The room was clean, very spacious, as it was a suite. We got this room on a last minute cancellation. My wife and I both had a good night's sleep. But the only downside, the breakfasts were very disappointing. There was also a limo shuttle to and from the casino (cash only both ways). Which you could split the cost with others. Overall the stay was 4 stars. If we decide to return to Rama, we will definitely book a room at the Days Inn.

Nice and quiet, only a 5 minute walk to the casino. Would recommend.

Staff was nice. Room was clean, although breakfast was a weak selection and they were unable to provide a cot for our paid 3rd guest.

Booked in advance a non smoking $230 Jaccuzzi room ..When we checked in the room was a heavily smoked in room and the staff nicely offered us another room.When we entered the 2nd room the anti smoke machine was in our room and running. It was a couple hrs prior to our concert so we stayed. The staff showed up to get the smoke removing machine and I mentioned that it was the 2nd room in a row that was obviously smoked in and they said the smell was probably because of onions from a pizza so I laughed at them.Needless to say the jacuzzi was dirty and when we got back from our concert the room had its nice smell back and the hallway stunk of pot smoke !! This place is highly recommended if you don t mind a lot of noise. Pot smoke. Stinky rooms that you can smoke in obviously and want to be in walking distance from the casino ! But we would never stay there again. Ps: There is a sign in the lobby that says it is a smoke free establishment but when I questioned it the staff they said they just put the sign up and they allowed people to smoke for 13 years there up until recently !!!

The staff at the Days Inn Orillia are wonderful work with. They were very helpful and accommodating with the group booking I arranged for work and answered any questions or concerns I had quickly. From the start to end of our booking everything went very smoothly.

The Days Inn was an excellent place to stay. Very clean and nice employees.

Bryan was awesome! Went above and beyond. Dave the limo driver took awesome pictures for us. Even detoured his limo to tell us we where walking in the wrong direction to go back to our room. Who knows where we would have been had it not been for him. The rooms where clean! Very close to casino rama. I would recommend this place again!

A Fine Place!

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The breakfast provided was actually well-rounded: waffles, hard boiled eggs, Polish sausages, yogurt and muffins in addition to all kinds of bread and bagels. A full brunch!

They must have upped their game after previous reviews of a continental breakfast.

Helpful staff facilities enjoyable and close to casino

The room was nice enough, but the towels were the roughest I've ever encountered. I thought there would be a bigger breakfast. The stay was just middle of the road average. Booked it because I thought it was walking distance to casino, but that would be a bit of a hike.

Very standard hotel with standard contentental breakfast. Staff was friendly enough. Everything was fairly clean. The location was adequately convenient .

Staff is very friendly and very accommodating. We were able to check in an hour early. Rooms are great, the beds are very comfortable. Limo service from hotel to casino is also great. Continental breakfast had a great assortment and well stocked. Definetly recommend this hotel as we always enjoy our stay there.

Great room and the service was nice we loved the pool. The work out room could use some updating the treadmill didn't work very well and the a/c in the room turned off while i was working out so it for super hot in there.

Clean room, fresh look, comfy beds, pool and hot tub! Perfect walking distance to casino rama!! Had a great time here. Would rent from here again in a heart beat. Best sleep I've had on the beds they have. Good price. Had a nice pool and hot tub was a little dirty like someone didn't use the showers provided and as instructed to do so before entering the pool or hot tub. Towles in the pool area provided. Had pizza delivers to the hotel. Great times had by all.

Casino is close an easy walk in the summer .. the only thing that was a negative if you require a decent television in your room. Tv was a little small for the room and tinny sounding

Convenient location directly across from Casino Rama. Clean room with easy check in. Breakfast was better than most continentals with eggs, sausage, and waffles.

The best place to stay when taking in a show at the casino or visiting Orillia. The rooms are clean and the pool is warm. Staff are great and easy to deal with.

Clean rooms, nice staff, relaxing environment.. really close to the casino. Shuttle service on the weekend to the casino, over all great location (Tim Horton walking distances)

We had no power due to the storm but the hotel was great snd we were well looked after.

Internet was like dial up speed. Rooms were clean though.
