This was my first time at this hotel and I was meeting a friend. He was staying on business so thought it was the perfect opportunity to check it out. It's a hidden gem in downtown Seattle. The bar is located right off the lobby and is open air. The restoration done to the building is beautiful with a huge grand fireplace in the lobby. I will definitely be back to check out the bar more. They also have the warm cookies DoubleTree is famous for. The best part was asking to buy one on the way out and then being given two for free. That is one of the little touches that goes a long way and why I'm a Hilton Honors member.

Beds were soft, hotel was on a slope so imagine if you have a lot of big luggage and you have to carry up. But luckily the bellboy did those. I like that they give free water and cookies, and not stingy about the complimentary water for Hilton honours members. On the last day as we checked out,the hotel offer to get us a SUV for our lugg and was quoted usd 45. We got ripped off when the driver told us when dropped off is USD 65. If we known its USD 65, we have got an uber ourselves. so unpleasant. Not a hotel we will return to.

Interestingly renovated hotel.

Service is a little "pokey" and certainly is not 5* at $300+ per night. Not terrible but nothing special.

The rooms are well done but not to everyone's taste in a sort of 20's style.

Location is very central in downtown.

Super hotel in a great location. The atmosphere of the place is old fashion, classic dark wood interior. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the wait staff at breakfast.

Parking is Crazy $$ - Says valet parking is 49$ they forget to tell you that that per night of your stay. Don't know if this is normal for US but most hotels we checked in it was a one time parking fee.. JUST something to know.

One of our favorite hotels. I was surprised when I realized it's branded a Double Tree. Very old classic Men's Club theme in the lobby, beautiful and clean guest rooms. Rooms have modern conveniences but keep the classic look of the hotel. The restaurant and room service are fantastic.

No microwave, small tv, no kitchenette, no free wifi (unless you're a member),etc. Why would I pay 200 plus a night when the motel 6 is half that and I have a microwave. Don't stay hete unless you have money to burn.

Came for a wedding. The ballroom is gorgeous and event staff were professional. However, food for the event was served an hour late and the climate control in the cocktail lounge was bad...it was unbearably hot

The Arctic Club is an very nice hotel in downtown Seattle. My wife and I did a no kids get away here and we loved it. I stay at a lot of Hilton properties but this hotel is uniquely different with a lot of history and detailed/fancy architecture from the turn of the century. They have received the AAA 4 diamond award for the past few years and it shows, that staff were all great. Parking is the only issue but expected when you are staying downtown Seattle. You can park on the street between 8pm and 8am for free, there is a daily lot right next to the hotel which charges $13 for 10 hours, the Hotel charges $41 for overnight valet parking. We did the valet since it's a hassle have to move your car around. This property is located in the business district, so a lot of coffee and food places close down by 5pm, however we had no issue finding a place to eat a few blocks away. I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing experience! I arrived early morning in the city and the staff was very helpful in getting me settled in early. The hotel and its history of the rough men who settle the Yukon and more really ties it together. This is where I come back to next time I stay in Seattle

Beautiful lobby - the hotel was formerly a grand bank branch, with lovely columns and an intact bank vault. Room was nice - typical Doubletree style - not luxurious but just fine for the price point. Good breakfast options in the concierge lounge.

Beautiful hotel with great location near waterfront and the ball fields. The turn of the century theme is done very well and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint, and its it's a big one, is that the rooms are very noisy. We could hear everything going on, including the lady coughing next door, and the buses on 3rd Street run almost nonstop so the street noise is quite loud as well. Definitely bring a white house machine if you have one.

What a rotten experience. The heater in my room was broken during February so it was freezing cold all night. The bed was also very uncomfortable and I woke up with a pain in my neck.

Decor was beautiful and the facilities were spotless.

Location is perfect for downtown site seeing and close to businesses (I was there on business). Staff were super friendly, room was clean, had upscale accoutrements, and the bed was comfortable. Price was reasonable for the class of hotel. I would stay here again.

Conceirge was very friendly and responsive. The room was nice, if humid. I had to park in the parking structure next to the hotel. There was also no coffee maker that I could find... Overall a really nice stay. :)

Stayed here in August with my husband. Beautiful place, they have a nice and helping staff. Front desk made sure our stay was perfect in every way. They checked in on us everyday over the phone. Our room was lovely, it was a corner room big enough for two. I didn't want to leave. We were walking distance from all the main attractions including the ballpark. The hotel is directly across from the lightrail. The beds are so comfy, noise from the city didn't bother me, it's as noisy as any other city. Our stay was great and we plan on staying here when we visit again.

Great staff, awesome historic property, attractively furnished in period theme. French press in room with Starbucks coffee was a big plus. Best in room coffee ever. Only negative was cheap tissues instead of real Kleenex. Excellent breakfast at Juno.

The staff was great, the room was wonderful, and checking in and out was stress free. They even got us a towncar to the airport afterwards. The location was great for pioneer square, catching the ferry, and getting the monorail to the space needle et al.

A gorgeously themed classic hotel. The Arctic Club's decor hearkens back to a bygone era of exploration. The room's furniture and finishings carey over the decor from the lobby and lounge. You'll find dressers and nightstands that resemble steamer trunks, mirrors wrapped in nautical rope and lamp shades with maps. Everything is in a rich dark walnut color scheme. The building itself is about a century old so the room layout is at the mercy of the classic architecture. That makes for some spacious rooms with enough room for two queen beds and a sitting area. The bathroom is equally cavernous with - as my son remarked - the fancy toilet paper.

Your view may suffer from the immense gouge in the earth at the corner of 3rd Ave. and Cherry St., but you also get a great view of Smith Tower. You're right at the edge of Pioneer Sqaure, walking distance to the train station, CenturyLink Field, Safeco Field, the waterfront, the underground transit tunnel, and all the tourist attractions around old Seattle. You're also less than 15 minutes away from Pike Place. You'll find no shortage of dining options in the immediate area.

The Arctic Club is a hidden gem, competitively priced with some of the other mid- to high-end hotels in downtown Seattle.

It really doesn't even feel like a bar because of how spacious it is. Most of the seats are sofas or nice chairs and it is fairly quiet so it is a good place to relax. It is indeed a bar and the barkeeps are very professional and make great drinks.

Love it here! Very historical, but the rooms are great. Not small like the other places around there. Valet does park your car in a garage blocks away. We stay here probably twice each football season.

Very Poor Experience, Horrible Hilton Hotel is very old and run down. Rooms smell bad and have no ventilation or exhaust fans etc I m bathrooms. Sheets were filthy and needed the entire room to be turned down first day. Many of the appliances in the room were no functional and to top it off after I had checked out and settled my bill. They scammed my card and charged $300 a a damage fee with no explaination but a trumped up lie that the room was smoked in? Which is a farce/joke, then when talking to management they changed the story multiple times refusing to refund the fraudulent charge.

If there is any truth to the old saying, "You get what you pay for", it applies here. I am not one for spending money really, would much rather save instead of feeling like I overspent.

I am completely taken back by how beautiful this hotel is. It has a very classic feel that you notice as soon as you walk in. I could not say enough good things about the staff, and not just the front desk.

If you are staying in downtown Seattle, I highly encourage you to give this place a shot. In no way will you regret your stay.

We stayed at The Arctic Club since it was a block away from my company's Christmas party. It made for a wonderful weekend downtown. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. The room was great, the hotel has a great atmosphere that you don't find in many places. The only draw back was a lackluster view from our room.

The place to a 50s there very much like film The shining. It's a combination of cozy, and classy with a dash of possible ghost. Location is around business areas but walking 10 minutes will get you to many food places. The service is good. They can text to communicate, but I just go for phone call.
