Our second stay and as usual, an exceptional and highly recommended place to stay!! I have never seen a hotel as well maintained, much less one a hundred years old. The service and cookies and amenities and people are beyond all else I have experienced in an American hotel.

The detailing in our room is extraordinarily ornate- 10 baseboards, 8 ceiling boards with crown molding on top -and not a nick or gouge anywhere.

Being Seattle, they go all out on coffee with a quarter pound of Starbucks and a French press in every room. I have to contrast this with Hilton HAMPTON, which goes way out of their way to make their room coffee as unattractive and generic as possible!! The same contrasts are evident in personal amenities which are made to be invisible in all BUT Hilton and Doubletree rooms.

I could go on and on about the Klondike theme that is even extended to portraits and furnishings in your room, but suggest you see for yourself and be sure to stop here when your are in Seattle!

Stayed here on our honeymoon in August and it was one of the worst Hilton properties I ve stayed at. Dated rooms, non functioning lights/doors and a rude front desk staff made this an unenjoyable place to stay.

Meh. Not a horrible experience--certainly a well-adorned hotel with unique features and a rich history--but sort of stodgy and old-timey. Portraits of old white patriarchs line the walls (even in the rooms), making it feel a bit creepy. Some rooms are clearly just refurbished offices, with exposed ventilation and pipework--not attractive.

Wifi costs extra. The room was noisy. one of the solutions is yo unplug the mini fridge. But that does not help the loud noise that comes on and off from the diffuser. The manager dealt with it fine the next morning but to be honest nothing makes up for a poor night's rest. The operator line very difficult to get through, and depending on who you get it could be very helpful, or not. The stars are for some of the good people that works there and the location.

The rooms are amazing, the view is breathtaking and the staff is awesome. The positioning of this hotel is so perfect and the theme that the hotel carries made me instantly fall in love. Will definitely be going back!

Building is filled with history, and is a quaint hotel with alot of charm. The layout is a bit unusual, having a second floor entrance/lobby and a first floor keyed entrance and restaurant. But overall it works because of the historical theme. This place is quiet and not terribly crowded, and would be best for couples looking to add a little adventure to there Seattle stay. Enjoyed thoroughly.

Overall it was nice. They've made it look very classy and the top floor rooms are nice. Mostly the service was good but I found one of their front desk people rather dismissive and condescending when I voiced a complaint about housekeeping missing our room. For 300 bucks a night you'd expect max customer service. The location is pretty good but there isn't too much immediately nearby. Walking distance there is a lot, though. Parking is valet only and costs 55 a night. Restaurant is called Juno and they have great food. There's also a nice bar in the lobby called Polar Bar. I would probably recommend this place if it's prices are competitive against the other nearby options.

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, the only thing keeping me from 5 stars was the accessibility from the street. A wheelchair user would have a very difficult time upon arrival as the valet is on a hill. There isn't an easily accessible access upon arrival, but once inside there are no issues, and the accessible room with roll-in shower was spacious and the decor was very much true to the history without being tired.

The bathroom fan didn't work, the air conditioning is loud, the TV was tiny and most of the channels either didn't work or were fuzzy and you have to pay for wifi. Over priced for the lack of amenities. Gave it two stars only because it's a neat building....

Super clean. Great rooms and views. Close to all bus lines and many pubs and restaurants. We stayed on the 9th floor and really enjoyed this place a lot. Would recommend when coming to Seattle the JUNO restaurant below is also fun and great food.

Wonderful stay, the staff is very top notch. Really enjoyed the whirlpool tub in the room and thus consequently larger shower too. Good location in the city although valet parking is $50-$55. Common for hotels downtown but still ridiculous compared to garages nearby or street parking. Would recommend others to stay if visiting

The Ambiance of the north room was amazing! The lounge downstairs also had a great feel to it. However, the bartending staff was kind of inconsistent. One bartender didn't know if it was an open bar or not for the function we went to, and one never came back with the waters we ordered. Overall the rest of the staff was very nice and professional. It would be a nice place for a social function.

I attended a little conference at the Arctic club today and my first visit was lovely. The meal was delicious the attendants were attentive. Everything worked well and was clean and very nice.
