Prompt services, tranquil location and great food/hospitality.... A perfect holiday resort.

Resort is too good. Restaurant menu is overrrrrpriced...better to eat outside or add in your package.....believe me your food bill (one time) will be higher than your one night room charges. Four star rating is giver for resort only....

Ananta resort is one of the best properties I have ever been to. The cleanliness of the rooms the behaviour of the staff and the quickness of the service and also the amenities for the people staying were perfect. The only downside was that of the food. The food was not really tasteful. Infact at times the dishes were a bit undercooked.

A lovely resort in the hills. Good food, wonderful service! A great destination for weddings and other functions, can host a huge crowd. Prompt pick up and drop service within the property.

Rooms - We got a cottage style room with private balcony and outdoor shower. Hands down the best room I have ever stayed in India. It was spacious, the AC was just right and the view from the room would make you believe you are not in Rajasthan.

Service - Very prompt. Everything we needed whether in the room (towels, water etc) or in the restaurant was provided to us in max. 10-15 mins. This was even more appreciable considering the property is very much spread out and the reception was a good 5 minutes walk from our room.

Food - As we visited the resort during Covid-19 pandemic times, we expected the buffet menu would be cut down. However, to our surprise, most of the menu was intact and we absolutely enjoyed feasting on the breakfast and dinner buffets which had a selection of delicious dishes.

It is a nice and well maintained place, it is large and luxurious. Cabs are used for transportation inside the resort. If you want anything in the room (shaving kit, brushes, etc) it is a long wait. Sometimes you feel ignored. But the food and cleanliness of the place is awesome. Keep in mind, all this comes for a fortune.

A very nice resort, a place for a good weekend outing with family or friends. They offer very good service and hospitality is superb here.

Family Stay was Superb @ ANANTA!
Its a superb place!! To start up with, we had a warm welcome at the reception.. The stay couldn't be mor relaxing, rooms & amenities were
quite appreciable. The area, surrounding, mountains, pools, resto, food everything was just outstanding. Even the play area both- outdoor & indoor
was fun!! Pool are was worth to visit. The breakfast was yumm & tummy filling. Car service was much timely & even the checkout-checkin
process. Its a must visit property. We had a gala time with family!

First they denied that we have a booking. Then after conversation with the booking agent they said I had pronounced my name wrong. Then after check out they said Rs 4500 was due on rent (it was a prebooked room with full payment). The person named Asish in the reception is arrogant, liar and ill-mannered. Doesn't deserve to be in the front desk of such a huge property. I had chosen Ananta based on reviews, seems that I had made a mistake.

Regarding food, they have no idea whatsoever about how to make biriyani. Customers deserve better food for the price they are paying.
It's a huge property. Good to take a stroll. But mind it, if the property is booked by some wedding, your holiday is doomed. They will make you feel you dont deserve to be there and make you lament on the decision of choosing it.
I will never ever stay there in my life.

Excellent atmosphere top notch facilities. A bit more information at check-in time would have been more benefitial , but overall at excellent resort and would recommend it to anyone.

Bad service, bad food, bad staff, bad maintenance of the property. Doesn't seem to be a 5star property. They charge 100 RS. for your taxi to enter the premises. It cannot be more disgusting than that. Only the rooms and environs are good.

People charge you even for you car entry for the hotel. Far from city and cab driver don't want to come because bad behavior and charges by the hotel.

Good place to enjoy holiday... Away from city of udaipur.

Date: 14 Sep. 2014 - It is in good location and nice small cottage as your room. Has an excellent food. However resort is only 40% complete. Out of 260 cottages only 80 cottages are ready. Except swimming facility nothing is on. Resort is open up in hurry. On Saturday night pool party was arranged for 8.00 PM. Till 9.45 nothings was happening. When we complain for late show and not having chairs to seat we got reply.... We did not invited you. After only giving them our peace of mind we got apology and good treatment at pool party .... It took us 1.5 hours to get receipt for our payment.....and they could not produce bill... Kitchen staff and door mans are good. RESORT HAS GOOD POTENTIAL IF STANDARD AND SERVICE ARE MAINTAINED AND OPEN AFTER COMPLETE COMPLETION. At present it looks excellent view on one side and other side it look like construction site..... DO NOT GET FULL BY PHOTOS AS IT IS PHOTOSHOP MAGIC ......

Excellent hotel. Beautiful surroundings. Lush green hills surrounding the hotel. Most rooms have excellent view of the hills. Situated away from the main city. Good banquet facilities for conducting conferences & meetings.

Staff is not cooperative and rooms given were not good . No proper management in resort

We had stay from 20th to 23rd Nov 2020. Had really good experience. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Buffet has lot of varities and taste is also good.

Far away from hustle bustle of the city.This place is very quiet and very cosy and made on a hill,Super place to stay for relaxation

Quiet, spacious, luxurious....some of these adjectives will come to your mind when you are here.
The food was great.... breakfast was a luxurious spread. The staff was courteous and very helpful.

It was a well spent short vacation with Ananta. Well organised pool and the snacks were served with attractive pricing. Loved it.

Awesome resort! The resort is so big that you have to take a cab from reception area to your cottage. Deducting one star for over expensive travel desk services. Would rather recommend outside travel vehicle such as tuk tuk, etc.

All same shaped cottages.! The resort is so huge that, they provide inresort cab service from one point to other. The view was fantastic..U feel positive.

We stayed here with our 3 years old daughter. It is spread over vast area so eveytime you want to go from one place to other, you need to call for cab (its free and available within 5 - 10 mins), which bothers some time. Pool was not very clean with lots of mosquitoes in it and trash was lying in one side of pool, they allowed a dog into pool while we were there (see pic). Many of the rides/swings in children's play area were damaged and there was foul smell like sewer in that area. Agoda voucher mentioned check out time as 12 PM but they started calling us as soon as 10 AM for check out.

Overall, it was not a great experience, staff seemed more focused on groups rather than individual traveller.
