Quite a cozy place with awesome beer selections. Food is a bit typical, though not bad. I ve heard many of. Those who work here have been doing so for many years, reflecting a seemingly good owner-worker relationship.

This place has really nice vibes, the staff super friendly even though they were in such a hurry all the time. The quality of the meat was really good. Washrooms are situated downstairs. There are so many beers to try.
Amazing beer selection, great hostess with the mostess, tasty food and a waitress who was as slow as molasses but knew her beer and was cool as funk. Nice seating as we got to watch the trains pass by.It took me 6 years to visit but it was worth it. I love this place. This is bucket list worthy.
I love this place, great atmosphere and selection. The food has always been tremendous and the staff are super helpful. Always make sure to bring out of town guests here for a night out.
Great little craft brew pub with loads of choice (albeit IPA-biased unfortunately) with good grub, including a very popular brunch menu. Staff are friendly and know their stuff.
One of Vancouver s largest selection of beers, especially for local stuff. Staff is always friendly and the interior is quite hipsters and vintage. I absolutely love coming here for brunch, casual dinner, drinks, birthday, and just to unwind.
Simply incredible place. Staff is amazing and helpful, the beer is beyond fantastic, the food is great and quite extensive for what looks like a typical bar - menus consist of typical bar-dishes aswell as temporary dishes served for a limited amount time. Only negative is that bar gets veeery noisy sometimes.
Little far from the main area of gas town, but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Kind of smelled a little dank in the basement, but aside from that it was good. Definitely plan on going back again.
Only been twice, but, always a great tap list. If you want craft beer in Vancouver, you can't go wrong here. I try and stop every time I'm in the city.
They had a bunch of sours on tap when I was there last, which is always a big plus in my books (tap list pictured, "strange fest").
That also offer flights, if you're looking to try a few (and have a few preset ones if you don't want to make too many decisions)
This place has an extensive beer list and decent food to snack on. It was great hanging out here on a warm summer's day for a few hours for a few drinks. If you're looking for a place in Gastown to try a few different beers, this is definitely the spot for you to check out.
Tucked away in Railtown, this is great craft beer eatery that features many of best local breweries. Excellent selection of rotating beers and really good food to boot. Owned by Brassneck brewery.
The Alibi Room is located in a red brick historic building. It is after 2:00 pm and the cacophony of diners offers a lively buzz to the shaker style atmosphere. We are offered immediate seating at the bar (tables are full).
Natasha (totally dedicated) explains the choices of local draft beer. Atmosphere is unique. We sip libations as a Red Union Pacific train passes out the window in front of us. Fresh fruit and "The Salmon Benny" are ordered with a draft beer. No beer for me.
"Alibi Room" offers good cuisine, service and awesome music "Abba's Dancing Queen" enlightens. I returned this year and it was different given my improved health. I was smiling as I returned to the sunny west side and thought danke aber nein.
Great cocktail and food, but the beers were not for the rest of my group. Still recommend going for a drink and burger, but make sure to try the beers first.
As a single diner, I sat at the bar. Had great conversation with the staff and other customers. The beer selection is fantastic and the food was exceptional. Great place for beer pairing and taste exploration.
Really great service and delicious food! I will come back for more! First time here and I really enjoyed it! I ordered flight of beer ($12+tax) and pork belly sandwich ($14+tax). Friends ordered sweet garlic chili fries ($6+tax). Pan roasted lois lake steelhead ($20+tax) and Flatiron steak ($22+tax). Heard the wings were good, so I'll go back for those!
The best place to drink beer in Vancouver, and possibly in Western Canada. It has a large, constantly-rotating beer menu, including a good balance of styles and lots of limited releases, rare and sought-after beers, worthwhile imports. Get a bat of four tiny beers. There's table service at long, communal tables upstairs, but I like to sit at the bar or (when it's open) to go downstairs for more casual bar-only service. There's cider, wine, and good cocktails for anyone who's not into beer. The menu is concise, with options ranging from a bowl of olives up to full entrees, and everything I've had has been tasty.
Expect a wait if you're going later than 7 or so on a weekend. There's a small (unserved) waiting area or you can leave a phone number and they'll text you when a table opens.
I love this place. Friendly environment and feels like I've gone back to the Viking time in a modern way. The exposed ceilings with antique cool decor, dim lights and cool crowd but to mention the great food and beer.
Not a big fan of the food, mainly the Entres. Its a pretty limited option. But its a good place to hangout with ample room for good group of friends and spacious seating on the benches. Pretty decent selection of beers and ciders on tap, except the selection is also made available as the night progresses based on how they have been setup.
I'd visit again, to have a conversation over some beers, but not if i needed to satiate my hunger. :P
Great selection of beer; and a wide variety of food on the menu. It has a long stand up bar or seating indoors and out when weather permits. It feels like an old bar and has a great feeling to it.
My absolute favorite bar in town. Amazing beer selection from a great group of people as well as an outstanding food menu. Try something from the fresh sheet, always worth it! Sit downstairs for a low key vibe.
My favourite bar in downtown Vancouver. The environment is comfortable and welcoming. Friendly knowledgeable staff and good crowd. Downstairs area always reminds me of the tavarn scene from Inglourious Bastards.
Amazing selection of beers and a great marking system to let you know how sour, hoppy, or dark they are. I'm a lover of sours so when I saw I had a choice of 9 I was pretty excited
What a great establishment. The staff was amazing and not snooty at all. What a difference compared to Strathcona Brewery. Such a fun laid back non pompous night out. Highly recommend this bar.
Great beer list and good food. Gets super busy so reserve 48 hours in advance if possible. Otherwise they preference walk-ins for bookings. Put your name down and go somewhere else for a beer then come back!
Even if beer isn't your thing, the Alibi Room has a nice wine list and some cracking cocktails too. The food menu is varied with something for everyone. We had a mezze share plate, a chicken salad and a pork belly sandwich. All the food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced - but the pork belly sandwich was a standout. This place is popular and it's easy to see why, good beer, good food and awesome service.
If you like craft beer, this is the place to come. They've got an exceptionally long list of different beers to try. If you can't decide on one, you can always get a flight of different beers to sample. The food is really good too.
Awesome beer selection with knowledgeable staff and good prices (food included). The place is pretty popular and can get crowded, but it's definetly worth a stop if you want to taste a big selection of the local beer!
