Good beer selection, good atmosphere, the customer service is on point too, lots of knowledge of their beers on tap. Food selection wasn't too wide, however the quality of the food was great

My experience was not the most pleasant. I don t get why they allowed three gentlemen (with privileges) that were already drunk to get in and ordered few more drinks. They were seated close to us and their behavior was not acceptable. They harassed my sister and the table next to us. What I don t get was that the staffs just ignored it, and did nothing despite us complaining about the drunk guys behavior.

A special place with a long history of the best beer selection in the city, a talented cook staff and bar and service staff that pride themselves on doing their jobs well and looking after the customer. I would recommend the Alibi to anyone looking for a nice place to enjoy some of the best beers Cascadia has to offer!

Fantastic chicken wings and an amazing beer selection in a fun part of town. Definitely on the border of some unsavory areas but the staff knows their beers and the basement is great for hiding out. We saw Ron MacLean there and nobody made a scene. Great for parties and groups because the table areas are large and accomodating

One of my favourite bars in the world. Staff are hospitable, beer selection is easily the best in Vancouver and food is great. Located just far enough away from downtown and close to Crab park it's my go to place to bring friends and family when they visit Vancouver

Great cool place that s a bit out of the way, but still close enough to Gastown. Food is really nice and reasonably priced.
Plenty of room in the main area and also a basement as well.
Can be long wait times during peak hours

Amazing sweet chilli wings! Very accommodating servers. Chill vibe. Has two floor seating. Their charcuterie board is pretty good to pair with some good wine. Huge huge variety of beers.

Still one of the best spots to have a beer in Vancouver - definitely the first recommendation that I'd make to anyone visiting from out of town and looking for a comprehensive overview of the beer scene in British Columbia. Great staff, good food, lively atmosphere.

Love this place! Come solo, or come as a group! 3 pages of different local craft beer on tap. Delicious locally sourced food, usually busy! Tasty cocktails, my favourite being the Corpse Reviver 3 or The Last Word. Outdoor seating in front, two bars and two floors of seating inside. Fun staff, tasty rotating selection of beer and ciders. Convenient location, paid parking on street. Brunch on weekends, dinner after 5 on weekdays. Comfortable spot!! Must try their in house made garlic vinegar and house made ketchup, delicious! large sour beer lineup. FYI corner bar seat by post stinks like bleach - I don t recommend it. Brunch served on weekends!

Go here if you love craft beer and obscure beers. We are never disappointed. Plan on spending lots because it will be worth it. Try some flights to get a sense of all the lovely flavour options. The wine and cocktail lists are also good. The rotating menu of cheese and charcuterie options is always a good bet and we always start our evening there with one of those. The house salad is simple and delicious, another favourite. For dinner, their fresh sheet is always full of delicious delights. I think what I love is that it is never the same twice - with the huge rotating list of beer taps and the regularly refreshed fresh sheet, no two visits will be the same. We discover new breweries and beers we can t find anywhere else by visiting here. Enjoy!

Love this place. Never go wrkng. If Belgian beer is what you what or hella local. Get a flight with some awesome fries. Never disappointed here. Servers know their shizz and beers are always on point. Today I had ten times ten fresh hop from Brassneck and some fries.

We came here when the night started picking up, so we had to wait a while before we were seated. It kinda worked out, because we went outside and caught a glimpse of July 4th fireworks. Didn't even know they cared about Murica there. Anyway, we got seated pretty soon after we were done watching.

I think everyone has mentioned their beer selection, so I don't really need to talk much about it. They have a good range from light, hoppy, and dark. Just get whatever floats your boat.

The star of the night was definitely the chocolate fondant dessert that we shared. I was confused at first because I thought it was gonna be a plate of gross chocolate cake icing, but chocolate fondant is apparently just a fancy name for a molten chocolate lava cake. The cake had a light and airy texture like a souffle, but the best part was the center. It was stuffed with the most amazingly rich and decadent chocolate goop. It kinda coats your mouth with a layer of big chocolaty flavor. I think we all agreed that it was pretty heavenly, and we couldn't resist ordering a second one. It's that good.

The Alibi Room is one of Vancouver's best kept secrets. It does some of the cheapest craft beers. They do beer flights, excellent selection of all types of beers and ciders.

Food is very nice too.

It's a 10 minute walk from Waterfront Station, walking though historical Gastown. It's right on the edge of Gastown before you reach the ugly side of Vancouver. Not that's it's in a sketchy area as such, but you definitely get that feeling.

If your parking in the area, hide your valuables well or take them with you. If you leave something lying in your car that is of worth and someone looks in your car, it's likely you will come back to your vehicle with a smashed window.

And that item being gone. Just be smart

This place was recommended to us by the nice folks at Cycle City Tours and Bike Rentals. We were immediately drawn to the idea of a Bison Cheesesteak! What a great concept. I always enjoy the healthiest option of red meat when it is going to be lathered in cheesy goodness and placed in a bun! The beer selection is incredible, especially the nitro tap!

Extensive beer menu, limited food menu but what we had was delicious. Recommend a "flight of four" beers -- let the bartender pick. And I really enjoyed the house-made veggie burger + The Works (including bacon!). We sat downstairs where there was just bar service (no waiter, just order from the bar and they bring your food). Fun atmosphere for our family of 5 (including 3 teens).

Love the beers at this bar and good atmosphere. Servers are great too.

Am I just unlucky but every time I eat here the food is quality is not in-line with the standard of everything else. Disappointing, I wish they would bring in a new head chef with new menu, fresh ideas. Otherwise 4 stars.
