Terrible's Hotel and Casino Review

The staff were polite and helpful, in the casino and the restaurant. The bathrooms were pretty clean. Overall it was a good experience.

Great parking for semi trucks went into the casino restaurant Denny's to get food stood for 20 minutes before we were seated nobody was there. food was absolutely horrible worst in Nevada. And the staff just doesn't care.

Lives up to the name. Terrible! A/C made a clicking noise, dripping shower. Nothing updated. Stay somewhere else, a tent would almost be an improvement!!

Vintage hotel/casino about 15 minutes West of Las Vegas. Reminds me of a place out of a Burt Reynolds movie.

A place not so new but very careful and with a lot of history recommended to visit

Good price for a good night's rest. Great customer service. I forgot my pillows and did not realize it until we were 5 hours away. They held them for me so I could pick them up on the return trip.

Last time we stayed we had a great room we were pleasantly surprised and service was great. This time around it was bad from the start. Checked in requesting a double bed room and when we got to the room no double beds. When back down to check in desk and we were given another room. This time there was no electricity in the room except the restroom. They sent up electrician who tried to fix the issue but was unsuccessful. So we got moved to another room which was a suite. It would have been fine but there was a roach in the restroom. This trip we were so disappointed with this hotel.

Today December 15 at this hotel there is no hot water or television signal and the power went out for more than an hour and a half asking for services will not work for another 5 hours

AC was blasting to keep the entire place cold, a bit run down but everything worked fine. They had a yummy strawberry ice cream!

Enjoyed our stay and all the employees were friendly and helpful.

Although the rooms are freshly painted, the fixtures are rusty and the beds are hard. Be careful when paying for your room. The hotel check in won't tell you about any specials. You need to know before hand.

They have a couple movies car there Batmobile Back to the Future car plenty of big rig parking Casino in small.

This casino is certainly my favorite. Sure its not (updated) like the Luxor but that to me is what makes it better. Casinos are supposed to be CASINOS. Not boring lavish hotels.

Terribles has better beds than some of the hotels on the strip. Their AC is flighty, but if you're not staying in the middle of summer, she's a beaut.

There is something to be said for being able to quickly walk to the casino floor from my room. Surprisingly good odds on slots too.

Over 3 years of travel around the world, spending nights in A closet in Japan, this is the worst hotel I have ever been to. Carpet is ripped everywhere, bedrooms are dirty, management is unorganized and it is impossible get any assistance. The roof was leaking in the hallway, rooms have not been cleaned in days. Just please DO NOT STAY HERE!

I attended a social Gathering there it was a nice environment while I was gambling it took the hostess a really long time to get my drink and some of the staff was rude

Slow services one channel on the TV and at night the room was very hot

Nothing works in my room and everything smells like smoke. The people who work here do not speak English well, good luck talking to them. I recommend you stay in your car, but at least you can start a new smoking habit by just breathing in.

Bed was crap. Located outside Vegas, Denny's in lobby which was good. Smelled weird

We stopped to grab a bite to eat. Only Dennys. Casino floor uses more floor space.for cars then they have for machines

The room was fine, the price was great, the breakfast was wonderful.

Bed was comfortable and made for a very affordable stay, the free Denny's breakfast is a huge plus (pancakes, sausage/bacon, eggs, and drink). However the shower was really small and despite smoking being "confined" to the casino everywhere smelt of smoke and was way over powering. Definitely need to look into a better method of dealing with the smoke. Definitely good for a cheaper overnight stay but I don't think it makes for very good long term lodging.

An interesting stop off the highway, that I wouldn't have really seen myself going to had it not been for their catchy billboards along side the interstate. Well, that, and my fiancee and I needed to use the restroom.

We ended up spending longer than we thought here, because they had a few neat things to check out!

First, there was their collection of Hollywood Cars from various productions, including Fast & Furious, the original Bat Man, Back To The Future, etc.

Then, there was free popcorn. Because duh, who wouldn't take free pop corn.

They had a decent little snack-bar which is where we decided to eat. The menu included your standard snack bar options (chicken fingers/fries, nachos, hot-dogs, burgers. Etc). It was neat to see they also had fresh Krispy Kreme donuts and coffee.

The "theme" of the casino was that of an old-school western saloon, so it was kind of neat in that sense. It felt like an era gone by.

In any case, while I wasn't expecting to spend a lot of time here, I was glad I did.

The room was recently remodeled, new paint. The smell of air freshener upon entering the room was overwhelming. Opened the screen less window to air out the room. Beds were comfortable. Hotel throughout needs maintenance. Live music in casino may be ok but, couldn't tell because of the less than poor quality music system. Canned music played in casino played through same low quality music system, at high volume. Is anoying. Shower was dirty, bathroom floors are sticky.

On our way home from a nice stay in Las Vegas we stopped here.

What a DUMP!! DO NOT STAY HERE unless you are hammered sloppy drunk and should not be on the road. Better yet take a taxi to Primm or Vegas.The bed in our room must have only had a piece of cardboard over the springs in the mattress and I question if there was even a piece of cardboard there. The bathroom was filthy and the toilet leaked from the base. You could see years of dirt build up on the exposed pipes under the sink and the shower looked as though it hadn't had a cleaning in years as well. They buy the old slot machines from the old casinos and are too cheap to upgrade to using tickets. Meaning if you wish to cash out of a machine you have to call an attendant. The cocktail waitress on the casino floor was VERY unfriendly even tho I tipped here every time she came. I'm the idiot there. There are more issues with this place but I don;t want to write a complete book on the place.However the bartenders were very nice as was a Manager type gentleman I spoke to. I feel bad they have to work here.On a better note I won over $500 of house money and took it to Buffalo Bills. Broke even there so financially it was ok.

Parking for trucks, but only one toilet. Not we're I wanted to be for 34 hour reset. I left with my money.

Stopped by here on the way to Vegas. The gaming floor is small and is mostly taken up by the property's movie car collection, which is worth taking the time to walk through if you have some time to spare. The casino, though quite rundown, still has an old Nevada charm about it, successfully maintaining its roots to the Nevada of yesteryear.

Even though there was a mix up on my parent's room during the Beer and Wine Fest, the hotel staff was extremely helpful and was mostly resolved. We did have a great time and Beer and Wine Fest was fun! As always casino and hotel staff were especially attentive to needs. Julie the front desk clerk went out of the way to help and her supervisor Rosa was wonderful too! I will always recommend this small casino for a great stay!

Hotel was as expected but the service was just horrible. Almost 2 hours to check in at 10:00pm on a Wednesday with maybe 10 or 15 people in line in front if me. Breakfast at denny's was more of the same. The employees where more busy trying to tell the people lined up outside the empty restaurant that it is gonna be a 20 to 30 min wait to be seated then actually working towards eventually serving (the incorrect) food.

Your Dennys sucks! Took me back to the 70's when they had bad food and service. Gold Strike Dennys staff needs retraining. Very surprised with this experience.

This Hotel is kind of out of the way and distant from both the Las Vegas Strip and the Primm area but it's very economically friendly especially for Las Vegas and it's very clean. They got a great staff and basic Hotel services with a few nice restaurants. It's very friendly to your pocketbook or wallet.

Parties were fun. However the actual room was terrible. They were out of pillows and comforters and calls to the front desk went unreturned. Housekeeping told me they've been asking for more for a while but management wasn't buying more. The way they treat guests coming in at night is terrible.

Not a bad place to do a 10 or 34. $27 per night for cdl during the week. Only complaint is no fridge.

No craps table. Small casino floor. Sad atmosphere. This place looks like its about to shut down but the one cool thing they have is the classic car collection that features the Bat Mobile, Back to the Future Delorean and some other great TV show cars. I will not be coming back here unless I need to use the bathroom or if traffic is 8 hrs backed up like this past Thanksgiving Holiday.

We used to stay here all the time when I was a kid it is very run down now needs a serious renovation. They say you get free breakfast but that only applies to the adult people staying in the room no free breakfast for the children. I would not recommend staying here

Back room has very good prime rib at a reasonable price and only about 7 miles from my house. Will go when I come out for the winter, see you their.

Went there with a friend so they could cash a check. Listened to the band and then we went home.

Don't bother calling to book a room the f****** idiot that answers the phone can't even understand what they're saying in their head said is so f***** up you can't get them to not answer the phone and let somebody else get it I even called from a different phone and it's the same thing so it's the hotel operators phone

Typical old Vegas hotel and casino. We usually stop here for the Denny's before heading home to LA. Their movie car collection is a nice collection to admire.

Staff was ok not their fault. Room rates were ridiculous for offroad families. The room was out of the movie Four Rooms. Dirty old and not fit for people to stay in. Needs to be torn down.

Fun place to get drunk. Games in the back yard are great to play when intoxicated
