Terrible's Hotel and Casino Review

Dinner.... Again short servers... Oh and computer was out..

The place was easy to get to from the freeway. Casino was clean and well lit. Rooms we nice and beds comfortable. It was nice to have Denny,s in the building.

There Is Plenty Of Food Places And Also A Truck Stop Near By

MGM resorts should never have sold all or any of their casino properties near the CA/NV border! Especially of all companies, to terrible s/JETT gaming!
Now the owners of terrible s/JETT gaming have since irreversibly destroyed the primm casinos and closed the gold strike casino in jean indefinitely due to poor management,
Destroying great comp systems, shutting down the vintage coffee shops/buffet restaurants, eliminating the popular coin slot machines and downsizing the casino floors just for the sake of modernizing vintage with ticket-in, ticket out!
Now the herbsts want to demolish the gold strike casino and put a boring, non-gaming hotel in its place!
MGM resorts needs to buy back all of the properties near the state-line as they were responsible for their Downfall in the first place and sever their business ties with the herbst family!

Very friendly service, felt right at home and very relax.

Went to the denny's for breakfast. It was okay. They did have the Batmobile in the lobby.

Took an hour to check in then I was turned down at the restaurant... the staff is extremely rude. Place needs a lesson on hospitality and customer service

All I could find was a Denny's inside period I was looking for a good meal not terrible service and subpar food.

Very smokey in the casino and very limited food options.

Not too crowded, but the cigarette smell was overwhelming.

Traveling from Vegas to LA, stopped at Dennys for breakfast. Dennys inside the Terrible's Hotel & Casino. This is an out the way older hotel. Im giving 5 stars bcus the food was cooked great AND my hubby had a huge kick out of the Original Movies/TV Cars that were displayed: original Batman, Fast & Furious and many other original Cars from movies. Didnt expect that, so its a 5 star for making my hubby smile.

Stayed in the hotel for just one night, the rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable.The pool was also very clean, and the hotel lobby didn't completely reek of smoke. My only complaint was that it took forever to check us in to our rooms.

I was only there to see the car show. It was okay. the movie cars they advertise about were great but most were off road cars.

Few tables, dirty, smelly, not much food options. Free parking.

I would not pay more than $80. On a weekend for this hotel. They keep saying how it has been remodeled and updated, but the south tower not so much. Even though our room had dated and worn tables etc. It was clean. If they would just continue to do some simple maintenance it would be much better. They did quote one price for the room when she made the reservation and tried to charge double when we got there. They eventually made it right after my friend had to get extremely upset at them and demand to talk to the manager. Not really the experience one wants when going to Vegas. I would stay again, but only if the room was inexpensive.

CDL Special advertised $26.95...with 2 adults came to $51.00. Were we to stay again we would have just paid pull the standard rate as the room was shabby at best. Bedding was dingy, while the coverlet was covered in fine animal hair. Shower was dirty, shower curtain was stained, bathroom was just old and nasty. Carpet was in poor condition and dirty. Requested a smoking room but no ashtray. Had I just spent the night in my 2020 Volvo 860...I'd had a better night.

We arrived on an eerie dark evening. With promises of free wifi and smoke free rooms our hopes were high. But the ghosts that haunt this place had other plans.

The staff did their best to help but after 4 different room fails we had lost all hope...
Try 1: faulty key cards, door wouldn't open. Long walk back to front desk.
Try 2: no WiFi andTV cutting in and out.

There was no manager on duty so they couldn't refund our money or help us in any other way.

Thank heavens Dennys has separate WiFi so I was able to get my work done and make my deadline.

Avoid this haunted hell hole and keep driving. This place looks like it's straight out of a horror film and has the luck to follow it.

Once you make the mistake of booking here, hop in their time machine in the lobby, give me a call and I'll rent you a bed of cacti in the desert for the same price and you'll thank me!

The place I liked very much is like a museum the exquisite food.

Bed bug , Bed bugs Bed Bugs yes this place has them becardful what room they put you in , also we had bits everywhere and hotel staff did not show any concern neither did the manager care no one apologized to us , this hotel is a sick joke especially the lady who run the restaurant by the casino , she s mean and prodigious Most of the staff are nice and the others I have no clue why they even come to work , Denny s is the best thing in this hotel and there staff.

Good prices on rooms for, and excellent stake house. Plenty of truck parking

There are performances every day, and there is a car show in the casino, giving three points!

A good place in the middle of the desert, good comdis included a Dennys inside the hotel.

Great place. Nice, clean rooms and good place to rest. Very affordable prices. It has a Dennys inside and ice cream shop, gift shop and of course gambling. I highly recommend.

AWFUL! You would think a casino would have to have a good hotel, this was anything but. I wished I had stayed at a Motel 6 instead, at least their staff is courteous and to some point accommodating!!! I get in late, but look forward to a clean, comfortable room to get some rest. What I received was someone knocking on my door at 7:45 am.....followed shortly by a loud friggin AIR HAMMER outside! Then I wonder why my room is getting warm......you got to be kidding me, the power was turned off!! I called the desk and all they said was "please be patient". I hope they're as patient when my credit card company holds their money for awhile! Due to my job, I needed to stay another night, but there was no way in Hell I was going to give them one more red cent!

This place is adorable, all out alone in the desert. It was a fun visit, the staff is fantastic. I would definitely stop again.

Worse than Whiskey Pete's. Smells. Rude staff. You're so close to Vegas. Just keep going!

Wonderful service and food. Restaraunt is 5 star. Staff in casino and restaraunt we marvelous. Recommend you go there!

Pretty small and out of date casino. Doesn't appear that Terrible Herbst has spent any money on this property in a very long time.

The place ia dated and in desperate need of modernization

Very good place to park, eat at cheap prices and an exhibition of all-inclusive vehicles the car of the Batman movie

One of my favorite places to gamble up. Much quieter much nicer environment and they have my favorite machines that the strip doesn't have which include the IGT machines. Staying in the rooms is nice too and a very good price about 20 minutes away from the strip

Has the oldest remotes ever. But not bad if you want a cheap place to stay.

Never gamed or stayed here but i used to stop through when i was on the truck to eat at the buffet which has apparently been replaced by a Denny's. The last thing America needs is another Denny's on the road. Killed any chances of me stopping here again.

Attentive and with great attitude of service and very quiet

My room (345) was filthy. The carpet wasn't vacuumed and there was trash behind the nightstand that looked like it had been there for a while. After getting out of the shower today my feet itch like crazy because of the carpet. Not coming back.

The room was clean, the water in the shower fluctuated in temperature while showering. The TV was terrible.

A great place to stop and spend the night before moving on. Friendly staff and budget rooms to rest up in. Yes the place is a bit tired and worn; bit the price reflects the condition.

Excellent steakhouse. Best prime rib in this hidden gem.

Great hotel . Get upgrade to the updated rooms. It was o ly $69. Good steaks. It was clean and cheap.

Tables closed early and not a super nice hotel. Staff was nice and they gave a breakfast voucher for Denny's

You have to GO SEE The Batmobile , Docs Back To The Future DE LOREAN Time Machine , and so many other COOL RIDES in the lobby and dont forget QUALITY NEWLY REMODELED ROOMS with that COOL 'Vintage Vegas Feel"throughout the hotel and meet cool new friends !

n several occasions with no complaint other then not enough staff but tonight our food was not up to snuff!
