Terrible's Hotel and Casino Review

Clean, well put together rooms. Good prices. Not much for a few miles around the casino. But overall a good price for new renovated rooms

Stayed overnight on our way to Joshua Tree National Park after a late night flight into Las Vegas. We booked the Deluxe room which came in at just under $80 and included breakfast at Denny s in the morning. While nothing spectacular or super fancy, our room met our expectations of clean and safe. We would not hesitate to stay here again while driving through.

The casino area features many older style slot machines which is a nice break from the video machines that dominate most casinos. There were a few table games ($5 blackjack and roulette, but no craps) that were open until 2:30am.

Nice little joint. About 20 min outside of Vegas. Awesome pool. Denny's on site and free breakfast voucher for hotel guests

It's a great place to stop on your way in and out of Las Vegas

Its off in the middle of I15 but well worth the drive from Vegas. The decor is a bit dated in my opinion but you do feel comfortable while ur in there. Their comp and point system is great and easy to attain high points. To comp a room its only 8 comp dollars during the week which is awesome. The staff seem pretty friendly though the drink lady took longer to get back to us than we would have liked. Overall its always a great experience at TH.

Had breakfast at the Dennys, staff was nice food was as expected.

History? Is it always good to keep it? It's gross, stinks so bad. The cars are cool af.

It was a good place to meet up with family quiet and the pool was ok. The beds were like card board though.

Quite nice, and the breakfast is a free platter at Dennys, which is much nicer than the usual continental breakfast.

I just played a few slots. Nothing outstanding but it is comfortable.

My wife and I are breakfast here at Dennys and the food here was surprisingly good. The quality was far better than any Dennys we've eaten at before. The casino had an amazing car display which was set up like a museum. They had the original batmobile and other awesome memorabilia. We wish this casino wasn't so far from Las Vegas strip because we would wrather have stayed here than the Tropicana.

They had a fantastic display of old movie cars there that we're free to look at. They had cars from Fast and the Furious, back to the future and the original Batman movie. A good place to take a break from the heat.

Hotel is quiet, casino small, but was a nice place to stay

I stopped by here on my way out of Vegas. They have a really cool collection of cars, including off road vehicles and movie cars like the Batmobile and Doc Brown's Delorean. Pretty neat.

It has improved and the suites are awesome. I highly suggest trying one of their jacuzzi suites for a nice relaxing evening. The rooms are huge, well taken care of and smell great.

Very small, a lot of casino floor had no machines and celebrity movie cars. Very poor slot ambassador service need service for a machine no one ever came. Security hard to find. Cage cashier very good (Saturday, day shift , swing). Dad lost his cellphone and was like oh well sir sucks for you. Glad a guest helped us and we found it.

Frequent here every time I visit vegas. Great place . definitely a recommended spot to visit.

I like this place in Nevada isolated and practical for traveling and dining

They had a good exhibit on celebrity cars! The casino is a bit small, but the blackjack dealer was entertaining!

Love the hotel. Smoking and non smoking rooms. Great staff. Clean rooms. This is for the hotel only. Dennys sucked.

We ate something at Dennys, I liked the cars that they had there to show

They'll quote a driver $33 over the phone then charge $49 at the desk. No thanks, I'll pay the price quoted + tax or I'll sleep in my truck. Still a great place due to the parking and casino though, and I eat at the denny's when I pass through.

Neglecting to mention fees before I arrive to draw me in is a garbage move that I'm not inclined to encourage, however. You can keep your rooms vacant for all I care.

It's affordable, nice rooms and never over crowded.

$ 75: The deluxe rooms have a king size bed, are large and spacious with a table and 2 chairs, chairs and TV. The bathroom is clean and pretty. Free Wi-Fi and coffee machine available.

I stayed at this hotel June 5th thru June 8th. When I checked in I asked if I could be on the second floor and I was told the second floor was a smoking floor. So I mentioned that I was on the second floor last time in a no smoking royom. Next thing I know I was on the second floor in a no smoking room. On Thursday June 6th we slept in and we left a room about 12:15 p.m. And when we returned at 11:00 that night our room was never cleaned so I had to call and ask for new towels and I told them my room was never cleaned. On Friday on June 7th we were in our room until about 10:30 a.m. And when we came back that night once again our room was not cleaned. So once again I had to call for towels,shampoo,soap and toilet paper. I was told that it didn't get cleaned because we had the do not disturb sign up. But we took it down each day when we left. It would of been nice if our room was cleaned each day since it is a service that should be done each day. When we are on vacation we want to sleep in and not get up early to have our room clean. I was very disappointed with my stay! I really wished I could of gave more stars but when you don't get your room clean each day. Thank You,Traci Brunner

Didn't go inside but it's impressive looking on the outside and appears to be very Trucker Friendly.

We have gone for years had players card last stay worst experience ever overplayed disgusting room wasn't even a weekend. Always used player card no longer receive compts for type of games we play not updated with keno machines. Considering never stopping their again on our frequent trips to Utah

Very Terrible Hotel the name says it all Terrible's don't waste your time

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
First off, I reserved a king bed no smoking room- was reassured multiples times when I checked in that I was getting a king bed. Got to the room and it was two Queens. Being overly tired, I decided just to go ahead and keep the room... the mattresses were harder than a rock. The TV remote didn't even control the TV.. the showers were made for someone 4 ft tall, with no water pressure. The elevators and hallways smelled terrible! In the middle of the night our air conditioning quit working and then at about 3am somebody tried breaking in to our room. When we talked with staff at checkout they said there was no manager on duty and that you can reserve a room but you are not guaranteed your preference and that they would look into our complaints but didn't offer anything to make it better. I would not recommended anybody staying here.

We like to visit the Gold Strike. It's very low key has has lots of options for gaming, a nice bar and friendly staff.

Never got respect from the owners i would never stop here again if you don't respect truckdrivers you would lose business i use to come here and play slots and stay the night with the old owners i use to get coupons in the mail for a free room for a birthday gift not anymore

Stayed there overnight. Got a room in the older part that has not been renovated so it was very dated. I would recommend asking for a renovated room. The breakfast was a voucher for the brand new on site Dennys. The staff was friendly and all in all the value for the money was good

Tired of seeing the cars in the lobby. Too many machines removed when Terribles took over. Also, all the good machines have been replaced with the digital slots that just take your money. Won't be stopping here anymore

Horrible service and very limited choice of gaming.

I'm giving this place five stars not because it's fancy and dazzling, but because it's comfortable and friendly, and a great value. It's twenty minutes or so from the strip, so you can stay and play here for cheap, and go into town for all the attractions. The restaurant is good, the people are nice, and the rooms cost about a third of those on the strip, so it's a win all around. If you get a place this cheap in town, you won't get near the quality or atmosphere, but you might get mugged...

I am very surprised this place is it packed fantastic rooms great prices I've been doing a lot of casinos this week and as far as I'm concerned this is the best all the others were ridiculously hi the food was extremely overpriced barely eat it at other casinos trust me the accommodations are great and their pet friendly need to visit

If 5 means loads of fun, great staff, good price and hassle free, then 5 it is, but I put 3 stars because the place is old and smells like cigarettes. However, everything you need to have a great time is here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There are snacks throughout the casino. You get coupons for 2 Free breakfast meals at Denny s which is located in the casino. Their staff was also great. We had a queen double bed room. It was very big, with a table to sit at and comfortable beds. I called down for an iron and it was brought up quickly. They do charge a resort fee, but it is more than half less than other casinos. We just checked out and may have to return. Tire trouble and won t be fixed timely to continue on to our next destination, soooooo we might as well hang out.
