Terranea Resort Review

Beautiful views Excellent service and Fantastic pools and spas

We stayed here for a relative's wedding this past weekend. I really like how it's so close to home yet makes you feel like you're "going" somewhere. Resort is great. Very friendly staff and Amenities are very up to date.

The only thing I didn't like was parking. There's a lounge bar located in the lobby. It gets very busy at night and although valet parking is available, I find it a bit confusing. I arrived at night and there aren't really clear signs for the guest to self park vs valet park.

The way these rooms are designed was a little confusing as well.

Food at the restaurant is a bit pricy.
my family and I had a Sunday brunch at the restaurant inside the resort and i felt we were rushed by the two waiters. They were pretty aggressive when we place our orders.

Overall experience not that bad. They have fair amount of yoga and fitness class you can sign up while you stay here.

I wouldn't mind coming back again.

A beautiful resort located on a peninsula in Palos Verdes overlooking the Pacific ocean. The former marineland was located here before being closed in 1987. The resort has a main building with rooms overlooking the ocean and pool area. Restaurant and bar are located off the main lobby area. Bathrooms and meeting rooms are available for corporate and private events. There's an outdoor area where weddings and parties are held. Villas and condominiums are also located on the resort grounds. This property is stunningly beautiful and seems to have perfect weather over 90% of the time. I've stayed in the main building hotel rooms and they are modern and very stylish. Haven't stayed in the hills but hear that they are amazing. Be sure to hike along the walking trails to see unparalleled views of the Pacific and Catalina off in the distance.

I want to say how truly amazing my experience was while staying at the Terranea Resort. From the staff, the architecture of the buildings & landscape, interior design, to the location, this is an absolutely magnificent place where every detail was thought out and it definitely shows. It must have taken incredible vision to put something like this together.

I rarely write reviews but my experience at Terranea Resort surpassed all my expectations and is definitely deserving of the time needed to craft an overly positive review - I highly recommend!

Good hotel but there is too many insects in my room

Beautiful Resort with a gorgeous view, magnificently kept sorroundings, a small beach (+a small cave to explore) and an attractive array of restaurants. You rent private villas, single restaurants for private events, or just crab a quick bite at "Nelson's" overlooking the ocean. You can also hike there or pay 5 dollars for valet in case you eat at one of their restaurants.

It was a lovely place, beautiful sunsets beautiful view. The staff is what made the difference. They were always on top of everything and waiting to serve you.

This place is amazing. The view of Rodondo beach is breath taking and the lay out of the resort captures the natural beauty.

If you appreciate peace and quiet, you may want to reconsider a stay here. During my stay, pool-side soft-rock music started anywhere between 9 and 11am. Enough time to enjoy coffee on the balcony, but not much more. Despite the resort seeming mostly vacant during my November stay, the front desk claimed there were no other rooms I could move to. The opposite side of the resort is much more quiet and enjoyable. If you like peace and quiet, reconsider staying here or demand a room away from the pools before you accept the key.

Beautiful location, service provided was great. However that prices for everything was extreme and if you're not a millionaire go to a nice Holiday Inn

Elegant 5 star resort right by the Pacific Ocean. Great views, serene atmosphere. Very high end with nice restaurants on-site. Parking is quite pricey so be prepared.

I like a very important hotel by the beach because I work there

Played the Par 3 Golf Course. Nice, but a little pricey. Lots of bunkers.
