Everybody looking for toilet paper and deodorizer...
Good customer service Reps and great selection of items restrooms
It was spacious and sort of manageable, but the staff was so unfriendly.
The price of products differs from the price tag on the counter. Be careful at the checkout.
Ms. Mary is the BEST cashier in the store only do my weekly shopping at my Giant
Tight aisles, but great selection. Chicken and egg relatedness on that.
I think it's a great place to shop for what you need
The store is fine, but I cannot recommend the pharmacy. They are consistently out of medication, and are slow to inform customers of this when they call in a refill. I know CVS' in DC also don't have a good reputation, but I've had a better experience with them, despite their faults.
I live in SE....there is a Giant Food in Eastover shopping center literally a 10 minute walk from my home and I would rather drive to NW.
The Officer was very nice and the young lady who assist me with my cake order was very helpful. Kudos to them
Warning the place is evil. Email forward to all & click thumbs up. They make false accusations threaten & assault people and provoke people and Destroy personal property & purchased property. I give them minus 5 stars. Even when obedience is given, they have a long history of causing problems that lead to civil unrest including violent crimes. This is a testimony that all that is said right here is true. They assault victims & the victims are put on Criminal Charges. Their so-called security tries to confuse people, double talk & is criminal themselves, seriously lacking good conscience. They truly commit multiple criminal and civil law infractions. They put this nation back to the old days of prejudice & potentially life threatening oppression with malicious intent & act as vandals. They need to be put to a stop to keep our nation well. There is no excuse. They have wrongfully victimized far too many, for far to long. They prey on the people who already have it bad to make it worse. They think they own the streets, act like thugs, lie like everything & the nation needs to stop them. The wars aren't so much with other nations, the wars are with our own. Don't give in. People need to be appropriate & we need to defend our selves well & that is everyone's right. Never Give Up. Make this nation shine like it should. Stop corporate terrorism. Make equality strong. Show the world you deserve the same respect also. Good Luck.
Large store....very impressed with the staff member Rose at the customer service counter..went to make a payment and she was very warm.friendly and helpful. The cakes were reasonably priced.
Better than average selection. Great produce. Get there before rush hour for best selection of frozen fruits or cleaning supplies/TP. Been slim after 5pm for the last couple of months.
For a Giant, this is an awesome grocery store. Cheap prices and good selection on most items. Pretty solid beer and rubber selection, too. No fancy stuff, though, just the basics. Seafood and meat counters are just so-so, but Giant isn't where to go for those items typically. Just stick to the staples.
This giant is actually great, it even has a lounge area with tables and a flat screen and microwave, so if you live in your car you can come here for a cheap hot meal and take a load off
I loved my Cashier "Jazz" great service and simply amazing
didn't have any turkey baloney n some of their prices r higher then Safeways
It is very convenient, clean and the employees are very helpful!!!
Good food prices. The peapod service is very important for my deliveries to my Mom
LOVE GIANT STORE ITS NICE. AND ITS CLEAN. REFRESHING. THATS MY GIANT. WOKERS ARE REAL FRIENDLY. GOOD SERVICE.
Meat and cereal departs could be better stocked, but a pretty good store
Convenient location but just doesn t have the things I need or prefer.
It was a very nice experience. Store was clean and I was able to find what I wanted with the help of the employees
This store is terrible! They are always poorly stocked, even more so now. And for some reason when they do stock the shelves in the middle of the busy times, think like 5-7pm. This means there are always giant dolls full of boxes blocking the shelves. The deli sometimes has good pre-cut sandwich meats but it's random what you can get or if there is anything. They also refuse to regularly stock Klassen sandwich pickles but they have full size ones, that obviously no gets, all the time. Their produce is usually pretty banged up, especially the onions. Youd think a neighborhood grocery store would be able to plan for what the neighborhood wants and when shoppers come in but this Giant either refuses to or is inept. The employees tend to block isles and mosey on about as if customers were a secondary concern.
Most employees were wonderful. BUT 1 blew it for me. She was the only one on register on Saturday. She had plenty to say about her political views with the customer in front of me when I commented my vote and that I feel everyone has the right to feel the way they want that's why we vote. She then ignored me when I asked her about the market and how nice it was. IInstead she looked away from me and talked to someone else. Very sad...
. It's people like that that makes this work hate each other. People political views should not be talked about in an employee setting and if I ignored someone the way she did I would of been fired.
People should not be judged and treated based on if there views are different then yours. Especially if you work customer service.
Poor Customer service, long line and higher than Safeway
Homeless are sitting inside of store sleeping watching TV. Wife didn t feel comfortable coming alone and couldn t sit down and eat. So we left. Unfortunate Bc it is such a nice store.
Didn't have what i needed. With such a big store, why not more selection?
A good grocery store by DC standards. Reasonable prices, good selection.
One of the nicest Giant's around, great selection of produce and foods
Pretty good store, fair prices, the store has an unpleasant smell as you walk in
It's okay. Selection of items is decent. Being from S. Florida we have no Giant Food there but it does remind me of those improved Winn Dixie's we have. I hear that Giant has the most economical prices in DC, but the prices were at least 20% - 30% more than even the not so economical Publix's we have back home. However, it was conveniently located in the recently gentrified apartment building we were staying, so it was interesting to see the new millennial apartment dwellers shopping side by side with my brothers from the old neighborhood. Very heartwarming actually. Wish I could see more of that in my neighborhood back home.
Large and clean, with a delightfully large vegan/vegetarian/natural foods selection (a very large beer and wine area, too). The prices are a little steep for the neighborhood, and the produce isn't too great, and the staff are notoriously unhelpful at helping you find much of anything (though some do really try), but it's typically a safe bet for staples or moderately-hard-to-find ingredients.
For the most part pretty awesome...been a few times I've been in the store and there was no meat whatsoever. Pretty strange.
A very nice store, well stocked and friendly staff.
Selection isn't the best but the staff is very helpful
I went to this store two days in a row in order to get chocolate milk. I talked to the same person both days. He told me to return the next day and so I did and they did not have it. I am not mad that it was not in stock; I'm mad that he had me waiting 10 minutes to tell me because he decided he needed to put items away before telling me
It's Giant. This location is always clean and well stocked. I can usually find everything that I need. I love the pharmacy here. The pharmacy team service is phenomenal. Just like Cheers, everyone knows your name
Good service. Hard to find street parking, so walk if you can.
Why is there no cleaning/sanitary products as you enter the store. The container is ALWAYS empty. In the COVID 19 environment it is imperative that your protect the consumers and your staff and yourself. Please adhere to the guidelines for the District of Columbia, your shoppers depend on you as the 1st line of defense.
Nicest mainstream grocery store nearby. Good selection of dry goods and fresh produce
This is a full size grocery, with plenty of choice. Its priced well. A can of soup in NC may run $2.x and here $3.x. If you are nearby, this is where i would recommend.
Helpful,polite,as a suprice,clean,GOOD prices,value,diversity.First time SHOPPING in 4 months.GOOD VISIT.GREAT THAT EMPLOYEES ARE BEING TRAINED TO BE CORDIAL,AND HELPFUL,YET PROFESSIONAL..SOME MARKETS ARE YET TO DISCOVER,WHAT
BRINGS$ TO LOCAL BUSINESS..
Most of the time when I visit the Giant at O St. Market they have everything I'm looking for. I come from NE, DC by passing a Giant in NE to the one at O St. Market!!!!!!
The best grocery store in Northern Arlington, in my opinion.
The Safeway in Rosslyn is too expensive and the Target across from that Safeway lacks variety.
I'm not too sure what all the complaints are about. I found it to be clean and well organized. They could probably make it a little less cluttered but that's about it.
I enjoy my visit here is always a pressure coming to get my groceries, the customer service is fantasy .
Poor service in seafood makes preferences with Hispanic and colored people
A great place for grocery shopping, nice clean environment, quiet neighborhood.
I like to go there to have lunch, the only thing that is not practical is that I have to grab my lunch go to the cashier pay and come back to dinning area, they should have a cashier by the food court
It was a great day in your store very helpful people who works there
They have class to teach you how to ear healthy and how to shop
Best if you're staying in a hotel nearby and need to pick up some groceries. It's nicely stocked and has nice food options. Worth a visit if you're looking for groceries.
A lot of variety, you can find a lot of things that are not in your typical neighbourhoud shop. But they are very deceitful with prices, you find way too many surprises at the register. Staff in the self checkouts not nice at all. Both things made me discard it as a go-to store
Great options. They do a good job keeping the lines moving. Much better service and selections compared to Safeway.
Upon my visit to the "O" street Giant Food store. I was able to find what I needed at very reasonable price. Love the way store is laid out. They have real good bargains on some selected items. Always stock and up to date on most items. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Used to be my primary grocery... but it's just kinda depressing to shop there now... i kinda wanted to take a pic of the 3 slices of dried out pizza they had when I was just in there.. their deli management should take a visit to Harris Teeter.
