Great place to take get away, service is outstanding

Beautiful, romantic, great service...What's not to love!

Nice resort, pretty huge inside, has couple trails lead down to the beach which is rocky, be sure to wear appropriate shoes, has couple restaurant and bars too, the viewing point at the cliff is great.

What a beautiful place. Fabulous location .Would love to visit again.

Fantastic ambience, but short on service. Waitress brought wrong wine, forgot cheesecake and disappeared for 15 minutes at a time. Sad, but true.

My wife and I loved it!! The staff treated us like we were the only guest on the resort. Very VIP feeling. Already booked another stay.

This hotel is gorgeous! So clean, with multiple pools and a great outdoor area to sit and have a drink while enjoying the view. Take an hour and walk around the grounds. Its such a nice get away. Feels like you've been transported to another world.

I visit that resort about once a year it's an absolutely wonderful place

Everything here is amazing the atmosphere ambiance and the food is delicious. The staff are polite and friendly.

Great views from all the outdoor locations. We had an area set up in one of the grassy area for a buffet and then walked to their large pool for some drinks at the pool's bar. The water slide was surprisingly fast.

Lovely resort with spectacular Oceanside views & sunsets

Beautiful location with gorgeous views. Went for live music at the Nelson's beer garden as a family and had a great time. Pretty busy event and lots of young kids there.

This is one of our favorite places to have brunch and spend a weekend.
Terranea resort has an amazing view of the ocean and it s soooooooo relaxing to have brunch there and go for a walk.
Whenever we took our friends or family there, they all loved it.
Thankfully we live in LA and don t need to spend the night there, because the prices are really high
Maybe their rooms are magical and worth the stay, but I ve never stayed there so I can t judge.

Great resort.. So close to LA but another more tranquil world away!

This hotel has the most disorganized valet parking.
All the valet parking guys are standing around and just looking, are chatting. The guests cars are parked in the middle of the drive way with the doors open. No body is there to park those cars in the parking lot. You have to sit and wait for one of these useless valet parking guys to come and move the cars. Whoever is in charge of the valet parking does a terrible job. I hope something can be done about this soon.

Mediocre food, extremely over priced for bad quality. I had a lobster roll, drenched in Mayo in a frozen roll. The best part of the meal, was the Sprite. The Sprite was delicious.

This resort is beautiful! The view is gorgeous. We were very pleased with the service we received, our accommodations, and the staff.

Got a massage at the spa. Brilliant service, as always! Only hiccup was that it was a bit difficult to get staff's attention, which is odd since the place was empty.

The restaurant was amazing; staff, food, view. We sat out side with the heat lamps and it was just perfect.

BEAUTIFUL SPECTACULAR WEEKEND. You cant beat this place. Wife and I stayed here for a weekend. We are from Los Angeles (and live there) and just wanted to have a nice little staycation.
Parking was a breeze.
Rooms were really really nice.
Lobby and other facilities were nice.
Food was really good.

Beautiful outdoor dining area with a fancy aesthetic. The ocean view was wonderful and the buffet brekfast, to die for.

If you want to feel the resort feeling, it feels good. But if you are not an LA resident, isn't it time to come? The Pacific is really great, everything is beautiful and it's always sunny. What do you prefer? Oh, I have not stayed, so the real good and bad is ,,

I stayed at Terranea for a conference with work and I can't fault one thing about it. Amazing facilities, fantastic service and idyllic setting.
The patio area in Nelson's is great in the evening to chill out around the fire pit.
Check out the pool with the ocean views- you can often see whales out in the sea!

Terranea is a upscale multi-faceted resort/spa, best for people looking for a more mainstream, yet high-end getaway. It is top-shelf, beautifully located, and yet still available for anyone who wants to get away at a premium.

An utter pleasure to visit again. Great place to hit the reset.

Very nice dining experience albeit a little bit crowded. Waiter was extremely nice and polite. Only downside is that valet parking is $10.

My first time travelling to Los Angeles, my fiancee and I stayed at the Terranea Resort for his birthday at the hotel for a week and it was easily the best hotels I've ever been to.

This place is heavenly, perfect for a corporate get away and the food , service is top notch . We could see dolphins and whales , sea life in general most days . There are quite beaches and miles of hike as much as you want .

Unbeatable view. Great service. Ocean cliffs and southern california hills. Amazing cuisine. A nice property for business events.

I highly recommend staying here! Save your pennies though... although you can have dinner at Nelson's when the sun is going down and probably spend less than you would at a family chain restaurant, definitely check that out!

Very upscale the staff is always available and nice very clean beautiful view luxurious come with 2 fireplaces one on the spacious patio office for work WALK in shower garden tubs microwave dishes refrigerator is huge convenient stove lots of cabinet space so serene my favorite vacation home

The views are amazing, and the grounds are impressive. We had drinks on the back patio and dinner at Nelson's. The food was okay at Nelson's, but the view made up for it. FYI at Nelson's, you cannot make reservations unless you are a guest.

Had a fantastic weekend at Terranea Resort! The room was wonderful, with a beautiful view. The restaurants were amazing, especially the striped sea-bass at Bashi - unbelievably good! Special thanks to guide James for the Kayak trip and his incredible in-depth knowledge. Also an extra special thanks to Ivy at the front desk at check-out for resolving a misunderstanding. Outstanding service all around. The spa treatments were the best of the best - we enjoyed massages and facials. Also spinning, Yoga and Nature's Gym classes at the Spa were challenging and fun! Would definitely come back if we can find availability.

What a peaceful resort. Not much to do for kids. Definitely adult oriented ..

This is an excellent Resort. We had a bungalow with a joining rooms for 2 days. But if you eat on property be prepared to spend a lot. You will be getting what you pay for the food was excellent also. Service staff was excellent also. This place is worth the drive & money.

I enjoy my experiences at the Terranea hotel, the staff are very friendly, the hotel itself is dog friendly and the grounds are amazing. Food is ok, but the bartender and staff definitely make the experience.

It took forever to check in. Huge lines. And you cannot get in the ocean because of huge rocks. Avoid this place. The check in line picture is below.

Love to come here to hike and also eat brunch or enjoy some drinks. Defintely a fun place to visit expecially with out of town family :)

Came here for brunch. The food was great. The people were very nice. Its a great place with breathtaking views!

Pros: Great resort for 7day vacation and business meetings. It was very relaxing and fully accommodating. We reserved a hotel room and when we arrived our room was booked out to a large conference. So, we were upgraded to a BEAUTIFUL 1 bedroom ocean front casita!! Fully loaded. We loved eating out onto the balcony every day listening to the ocean and basking in the beautiful view

Cons: very unorganized, for the high traffic there wasn't enough staffing for transportation and checking out. There were 4 desk clerks and 2 were checking guests in and out. And out of the 2, one was handling a difficult guest. Valet was way to congested car everywhere they do need to work in a more organized way on parking cars, an in and out method. The restaurants and room service is pricey

Overall there were little things that were negative but the trip in itself was a great experience.

Stayed the night after an event for my wife. Beautiful resort with friendly staff. Only issue we had was our neighbors were a bit noisey for us so we asked to be moved and they found us another bungalow and we enjoyed our stay definitely would return.

Summer concerts are so much fun! 80's night on Saturdays
