They work on their schedule, not yours. I live on a gated property and for 15 years have tried to get them to schedule Thursdays for any service. It's a hit and miss proposition. But I call it "Contractor Thursday" and when we travel we typically have zero contractors scheduled while we're gone and our house sitter is instructed to simply call the police if anyone arrives claiming otherwise. Of course the tech showed up while we were away, scared the hell out of the sitter, she didn't let him in but he still billed us for a visit. I'm not only not paying the bill, I'm canceling their service (and oxymoron where their concerned). I've received 2 calls from their collections dept., about this invoice but apparently none of them take notes or relay any of the interactions back to the tech. When you call you get a robot, and then a human being who repeats all the questions you just provided answers for to the robot! Now then, we're talking about a company that's in the business of killing bugs, not the bank or heaven forbid, the phone company (aren't those horrible experiences?) so I don't get the scrutiny. Today's human being hung up on me. So much for service, wot? Beyond that, if you really want to freak, call someone in any environmental agency and tell them what you're having sprayed around your house and you'll look at spiders in an entirely different light.

I wasted too many years just thinking about calling for an estimate. Don't suffer any more with coming upon creepy crawlies in the middle of the night, its NOT expensive. We love our guy, Marc, he's knowledgeable, professional and has a great sense of humor to boot. He comes on a schedule and is flexible, as well. The first time you have them come, do expect an increase in insect activity for about a week or 10 days, but that's normal. After that, love your bug-free life!

Terrible company. My renewal stated I had y til March to pay, in February I got a bill saying it was canceled. I called and explained and spoke to a nasty manager who said yeah I see that in the computer but there is nothing I can do, sorry it s cancelled you will have to repay the start up fee. I am livid. What a joke of a company! I gave my business to a local company and couldn t be happier. Also, the price went up to $1,000s for most people in our neighborhood with Terminix. So happy they messed up- worked out for the best for me! I would never recommend them to anyone.

Reluctantly signed up for what was apparently a discounted service. Attempted to cancel and was informed I'm being charged a cancellation fee that actually cost more than the service. Cancellation fee was not disclosed up front. Poor value for the money and sketchy company will never work with again

Update: Terminex rep showed up at my house wanting to know why I cancelled. Now they are harassing me over the phone. Completely regret ever interacting at all with this sketchy company

Terrible experience that's dragged on for over a y...

Terrible experience that's dragged on for over a year. I hired Terminix in January of 2018 to get rid of rats in a detached garage. Almost $20,000 later, the garage was never treated. I then negotiated with Terminix for nearly 10 months, and had to hire a lawyer, to get the bill lowered to a reasonable (but still not fair) amount of $5,000. I made my final payment on time a few weeks ago, only to find out that the company had turned my account over to collections as delinquent back in December. So now to add insult to injury, my credit has been affected. From the salesperson I dealt with initially (a total conman) to the revolving door of regional managers to their corporate lawyers, I don't believe any one affiliated with this company has the customer's best interest at heart. Terrible, terrible -- seemingly never-ending -- experience. I will never do business with Terminix again. If I could have given no stars, I would have.

Full of lies paid $1000 for my whole home to be serviced they came out with two cans of spray I can buy off line and sprayed and now they don t want to refund me since they didn t do what was promised. They lied like they where going to send another person to retreat and they didn t now they don t want to refund me for services not rendered! I m having to go through my bank for a refund. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!! Full of lies and games

Your people are very friendly and helpful but even after almost a year of service I see a decrease in my problem but I still have a problem , I call, yall come out, it seems to be getting better,, and then it right back again , it just the same thing over and over , I really don't mind paying the monthly fee ever month I just want the problem gone for good ,

My service person has always been reliable and given good solutions and recommendations to keep my home and surrounding area pest free I am confident that they have my needs covered. My excellent review is due to my service person. I actually have not contacted the company directly as they purchased the small business that used to service my home. From day one they sent their person and 2 years later he is still my service man. The company also accepted my contract pricing from the previous company which I really like. Best part in addition to their consistancy is that if ever i have a concern they will promptly come back to address it. I do not have to wait until my next appt/quarter. I am quite pleased with terminex and Kyle my service person. Happy to give them max stars.

SCAM ALERT! I really wish I had read the reviews before deciding on this company. I THOUGHT I could trust such a big name! They have been holding my money hostage for almost a month now, with no service! An employee even went as far as posting pictures of SOMEONE ELSE'S home on MY account with no signature, as a receipt for service at my home! I've wasted a total of 14.5 hours between the no call-no show I experienced, and the wait time on the phone trying to get my money back! Last time, my phone time was over an hour, I was transferred 4 TIMES until the last person asked why I was transferred to their line! This is what they do everytime I call. They lie about the steps they've taken, and scheme to keep your money past that 30 day guarantee. Now, I have to treat ,what I thought was a reputable company, like a rink of criminal thieves. I have to get an attorney and my financial institution involved because they've committed fraud! PATHETIC!

We moved into a new construction home and our problem started. We had giant red ant looking bugs, small black ants, tiny spiders, fleas, chiggers and ticks. They kept appearing along the baseboard of the walls to the outside of the house. After being bit by 'whatever' several times and finding dead bodies of some small dark critters inside the house along the door jams and baseboards and unable to walk in the back yard due to large weird red ants, I called Terminix.

The first session got everything! Yet we all know mother nature recovers and they would be back, so I signed up on a permanent quarterly basis. I can now work in my garden in shorts and flip flops and no worries of getting bitten. I also love my service Rep Ozzy. He is the best at keeping me up to date on what's going on outside.

Have been a loyal customer for nearly a decade and have never missed making a payment on time every single quarter. Recently I had a horrible customer service experience with them. Agent was extremely rude and sarcastic and should not even be allowed to work with human beings. I filed a complaint with Terminix, only to receive some "cookie cutter" response from one of their Customer Service Managers. To this company, you are just another number. They could take a valuable customer service lesson from Chic-Fil-A. What they also need to realize is that they are not the only pest control company around. Steer clear of this company unless you want to waste your hard-earned money on a company that doesn't appreciate you as a customer.

Have had their service for 10 years. They got rid of our infestation and come back yearly for inspection. The only complaint I have is that never do we have the same technician. The new ones have been employed for just a few months. None have served a year. Makes me concerned of their expertise.

So I have had Terminix for around the last three and a half years since we moved in our new place and they have always did okay job except for the last couple of months we had a new technician come in and John crocker and he had just got up and above and beyond his job we have not had any signs of any kind of cockroaches or any kind of insects and I just love how he's always a nicest person and always tries to help you in any way I was actually on the verge of canceling my membership with them until we got him and he's just changed the way I look at Terminix so I really appreciate it and yall really need to find more technicians like him

I have always gotten excellent service from Terminex. I would especially like to recommend my Pest Tech Nathan Hess for his wonderful service. He is always pleasant and on time, explains clearly the service he is going to perform and why it is being done. He helped me clear up my spider cricket
and mice problems with the right kind of traps. I give him and Terminex a thumbs up.

He called me, sprayed the exterior of my home and said call anytime I wanted him to return to do the inside if I desired at no additional cost. He is the most friendly person you will ever meet, extremely professional and always on time.

I had one year arrangement for Ultimate Protection Package (Sales Agreement Number 17176763) for my residence at Princeton, NJ 08540.

I called your customer service on 2 April 2018 after noticing $79.70 unauthorized charge on my credit card from Terminix. I was informed that it was for auto renewal of service. I informed that I don't want to renew and will call your company when I wish to renew. The customer service representative of Terminix apologized and $79.70 charge was refunded to my credit card.

Few days ago, I called you again after I noticed an unauthorized charge of $174.85 on my credit card from Terminix (dated 9 May 2018). Terminix representative told me that the charge was for the renewal and couldn't be refunded as I didn't cancel. I informed the customer service representative that I specifically and clearly informed Terminix on 2 April (please see above) not to renew my contact and added that it would be illegal to charge my credit card without my approval and agreement. Finally, on June 2, I received an email from Terminix that my service agreement has been cancelled.

However, on 2 June 2018 around 10 am, a Terminix employee came to my property and removed all the termite bait stations from my property without informing me either by call, text or email. This is an unauthorized trespassing in my property. Also, I didn't find in my contract that the bait stations would be removed after the expiry of one year contract. I paid more than $1,200 for the bait stations and believe Terminix has no rights to remove the bait stations for which I paid.

But interestingly, Terminix employee also took all the bait stations which were in my property from totally different company. The bait stations from other company were black and wider, where as Terminix bait stations were green. Why Terminix employee took all the bait stations that even did not belong to Terminix? I have security cameras in my property and the removal of bait stations by the Terminix employee have been recorded. In a different word, this similar to theft as Terminix employee took black bait stations that were not from Terminix.

I believe this is a retaliatory action from the Terminix for my refusal to auto-renewal. Please return the black bait stations or I will consider taking appropriate actions. Also, please provide explanation why you took the Terminix bait stations (green ones) for which I paid over $1,200.

I already called quite a few times and talked to so many people including the branch manager but no resolution, not even a sorry or an apology. I hope your company will take proper actions to resolve the issue amicably.

Terrible I've had Terminix for 20 years and have developed a roach problem over the last 2 years! They try to blame the problem on anything they can think of like oh have you had a new neighbor move in next door. I happen to live in the center of a 2 acre lot, no new neighbor could possibly have created this problem. There guarantee is worthless Satisfaction Garanteed means they will have a technician come out when you call and complain. There customer service representative said they would gladly discontinue my service. I guess thats my answer! Thanks Terminix for the solution to your problem.

So far Terminix has done a great job. But I have only experienced one visit. The call center however messed up and didn't schedule my appointment for the service guy to come out. I was very specific and they did the exact opposite. But once it was straightened out the service was good the only time they have come out so far. I will rate it later when I feel I have a had a chance to try them out. Thanks

Had 2 termite inspections this last week by some very people oriented inspectors. First one was a inspection follow up on a tenting job. He did a very complete inspection on the inside of the house. The second did a very complete job and checked all the bait stations in the yard.

Both inspectors explained what they were looking for and made it so the average person could understand what they were doing.

The inspector that did the termite stations had a little more of a problem as some of the stations had to be found as they were covered up with loose rock. In any case he knew were to look! He had no problems finding all the bait stations.

These guys were totally AWESOME! If you are looking for some one to do your termite treatment I would highly recommend Terminx!

We started to notice signs of mice/rats in our home. It was so upsetting and felt like my home was being destroyed by these pests. I knew I had to do something because everything I tried failed. I called Terminix they came right over, looked at everything and quoted us a reasonable price. They then proceeded to close all entries outside and inside my home. They placed traps in all the right places. They were very good and knew I had pets. It took 1 month and now we are pest free. They come out every 3 months to check everything. I will continue to keep their service because with their help I have my home back. Rats/mice do so much damage. They chewed through electrical wires,through my dish washer water tube. If it wasn't for Terminix I don't know what we would of done.
