I have to say that this was my most painless experience with an exterminator company. Price was never a question and service was applied on a scheduled basis without exception. My service person was always helpful and always questioned if there were any infestations or critter problems. I would recommend this company without hesitation

This company is a total ripoff. A door to door salesman talked me into signing up and assured me that my concerns about ants in my yard would be taken care of. At the initial service the tech showed up with his fly open, needless to say I did not let him in my house. I told him my main concern were the ants and he said he would put out granulated bait that would kill the nest. Whatever he put out on made them multiply. I filled out a survey and received a call from the manager, Mike Sheppard. He assured me he addressed the issue and would send out another tech with stronger product. This tech showed up and said we don t treat the yard for ants . I told him that is not what I was told. His attitude was a shrug of his shoulders. I told him he needed to talk to his boss and he said he could put some granular stuff out in a way that said it would do no good. I said, so you re telling me it won t work and got another shoulder shrug. I told him not to bother and he left. I tried to call Mr Sheppard on his cell number he gave me and could not even leave a message because his voice mail was full! This company has been unprofessional and I am totally dissatisfied with the services. I was assured the ants would be taken care of and then was told they don t do ants in the yard. I cancelled my service and told them I don t expect to be charged a termination fee since they did not address my concerns and did not take care of the issue I had. Total dissatisfaction with products and services!

Our exclusion service for mice problem last year so far resolved by Terminix. Referred my mother in law for bed bugs service 1,500 and exclusion service for her infestation of mice problem 1,800 not resolved by Terminix. No shows to complete treatments, No shows follow up Inspection's, No timely return phone calls from service tech and service manager. They are quickly to get you to sign contracts and take your money, but take their time to come out to deliver the service.. The communication stinks between Terminix to customer. The complaints continue to rise let's see what answers Corp. can provide. Corp. read the complaints from dissatisfied customers, and take them seriously. We are complaining for a reason.

I've hired Terminix to take care of a rodent problem. It took several visits but Terminix kept coming until they were under control. I also hired them to rid me of pantry moths. Several visits and that did it. The technician was knowledgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend Terminix.

I scheduled a 10am-12pm window back on Monday for an inspection.

I was waiting for 2 hours, but didn't hear anything.

I called dispatch. The dispatcher called the driver and told me Marlin was 25 minutes away and on his way. I requested he call when he's a few minutes away as there were special parking and entry instructions. She said she'd call him again and tell him.

30 minutes later I didn't hear anything. So I waited longer. After an hour I called in. The dispatcher said the inspector was only doing a roach inspection and that's why he might not have shown up since they don't do write-ups for roach inspections.

I said that's not what I was told. So she asked a manager and said write-ups for roach inspections were at the inspector's discretion. Some do them and some don't.

I asked her to call the inspector. She couldn't reach him. She said he was behind. But I said I still wanted the service.

At 2pm no one showed up. I called back. The dispatcher told me a previous dispatcher had cancelled the service much earlier. I was livid. I told her every dispatcher told me the inspector was still on his way and I always said I still wanted the service. I asked how this could happen and she said they're poorly trained.

Because of this I needlessly wasted 4 hours of my time.

She offered to reschedule for this upcoming Thursday from 1-3pm. I was disappointed but figured I d give them one more shot.

Fast forward to Wednesday (the day before) and I get a call that afternoon from an inspector telling me I wasn t home and asking if he had the right address. After calling him back, I was furious but realized it wasn t his fault.

When I called Terminix they saw the notes they were supposed to schedule on Thursday from 1-3pm but put me down for Wednesday from 1-3pm.

I am done with this company. They are incompetent beyond belief and they clearly don t want my business if they screw up majorly twice in 2 days.

Buyer Beware!! Each appointment we have made with...

Buyer Beware!! Each appointment we have made with Terminix has been late or no-showed. The appointments they did keep they refused to finish the job due to various excuses. They have sent injured employees out to do a job when they were obviously unable to perform. Not the employees fault!! They took our money on the front end and year later we still don't have the exclusion they promised and we can not get a full refund. This company cares about the corporate profits not the customer or their employees.

Four times we called all the people we talked to could speak a little English but could not understand our problem. Simple we had an appointment, no show, we are mad because we gave up a morning waiting for them. Their only solution, make new appointment. no empathy, appoloigy or concern.

I am new to Florida and was appalled to find that I had an infestation of ants. But I called Terminix and they came right out and sprayed and then came back and sprayed again and those ants are gone. I chose Terminix because it is a national company and it has a good reputation. That reputation is well-deserved and I would recommend them to anyone who is having problems with pests

First, I hate the answering system to try and get a live person. There is no way to get to the headquarters or an email for the ceo, so what does that tell you. I have been trying for two years to get the termite inspection that is done by drilling holes in my cement driveway, "fixed", but for two years somebody by the name of William is suppose to come and fix the holes. No one comes, or calls. Today, I called the customer service again, because you can't get to headquarters, I am being told someone will be here tomorrow. If not, I am contacting the Attorney General's office to lodge a formal complaint. Perhaps this will get Rob Gillette's attention, who is the CEO.

The Tech that services my house is exceptional. He calls me when my quarterly service is scheduled to make sure the date & time is good for me. He's very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I was a pest control customer who was offered a free termite inspection on two different occasions. Each time the local office told me that I didn't need a separate termite inspection and that their local techs had the same training as the Terminix termite inspectors. I listened to them and let them cancel my inspections by a certified termite inspector. The pest control folks came twice in September and then later I discovered termite activity in my home in October. The Terminix termite inpsector's estimate to treat and prevent the return of termites: $1500+. I have worked with their local managers to come up with a fair remedy to no avail. They have made no offer to try to make things right. And to add insult to injury, they turned my account over to collections for the remaining $111 on my pest control contract!

I want to make it perfectly clear that Terminix needs to make their annual automatic appointment scheduling process substantially better. Don t even feel like relating the pain of it, having to wait, more than once, for technician to show at the designated schedule time. Suffice it to say that the technician who ultimately arrived should be given a raise, as his conscientiousness helped to right the frustrations caused by the inefficiency of the automated system. 5 stars for Steve, the technician and the 4 stars for Terminix are primarily due to him. Otherwise the rating would have been a 2, maybe less.

I have been using Terminix for years now. I have no rodent or insect issues since I have been using Terminix and the technicians that respond are always professional and friendly. The technician always leaves a card and tells me to call if I ever have any issues after treatment.I have had to call a technician a few times because of problems that occurred such as silver fish or spiders appearing and they would respond and treat the area of problems with no additional charge. The problem would then improve and be gone in a reasonable amount of time.

I have used Terminix on several projects around my home. From pest control, crawl space insulation, building support, attic insulation, and termite protection. I never had an issue until recent attic insulation turned into caos. February 28 2019, after completing the insulation, my driveway was left with debris and a large bag of debris. The workers asked due to their truck being full, could they return the next day and complete the cleanup process. I said yes, it must be cleaned up tomorrow. As of this review 14 April 2019, the crew has never returned to clean up this mess! I have call Terminix at least 8 times requesting the cleanup and a call from a manager. After receiving several promises it would be resolved, I have not spoken to anyone. My pest control technician took pictures and called his supervisor about the issue yet, the issue still has not been resolved. Terminix was quick to take my payment for the work done but, has failed miserably in completing the work and customer service! Moving forward, I will not recommend them for anything. Thanks Terminix for a job not well done.

Our decision to hire Terminix - Petaluma office, has been a GREAT decision! We were being inundated with ants, and it was driving us crazy. Our site exterminator is so patient and does a thorough job. Some weeks he was coming twice a week to re-spray (inside and out) because our house was so
infested!! He is always polite and kind, comes here and puts on booties , to not drag in dirt or water. I appreciate working with him, and getting information when needed. Thank you!

I gave three stars because I expect that what I paid for the first time was enough to cover everything but it was not...they wanted to charge me additional fee to get the max termite protection which I thought I did...I feel they are always trying to find something else so you pay more for....when I purchase termite protection in the beginning I was told it was the maximum protection for my home now my second year free termite inspection and now telling me I have to spend another $1000+ to get the maximum termite protection....why oh why all of sudden I am being told now it was not the maximum protection...shaking my head....do your research before committing to a company and make sure to ask them if they are going to ask for more money later on.....

Great company!

Great company!
They do so much more than pest control.
I recently bought a home and Terminex installed gutter guards on my roof, took care of an extensive mold problem in my basement and treated the exterior for termites. A month later when termites started swarming, they came out and did more treatments ( for no charge ) the techs are kind and caring. Very professional, and always go above and beyond. Thank you Guys, I really appreciate all you have done.

After two no-show appointments, why would Terminex send a request for a review? Company is so large that when I called about the first no- show, I was talking to a call center in the Philippines. Second person i spoke to booked another appointment. Another no show and lots of finger pointing internally. Company is too big for individual service.

Like others who have reviewed Terminix. My experience has been horrible since the day they started my service & I absolutely REGRET contacting them. First, I have spent $9600 with this company only to be lied to, I feel like I ve been cheated, and taken advantage of. They came out to clean and insulate my attic and was supposed to set traps out in the attic, & come back a week later to check the traps. After my follow up I learned that the traps were never put in place & the follow up tech who came out never knocked on my door to speak directly with me, he just went into my garage, into the attic and left. I then had to call him to see why he had just left without giving me any update and that s when he informed me that there were no traps & that he d need to put in a work order to have them placed in the attic. Needless to say, that work order never got placed, so I was forced to call and make the appointment for that. When it came time for the tech to show, I received a text stating that he wouldn t make it and that he d have me rescheduled for the following weekend. -Understood, things happen. The following weekend came and I called back to confirm my appointment and ended up on the phone with a RUDE male agent who wouldn t know how to empathize with a customer if he actually tried to. After reporting him and asking that a manager call me back (on multiple occasions) I did get rescheduled, but I am still waiting on the call from a manager to address their rude customer service agent. Because of this interaction with this particular agent and the fact that I have had to jump through hoops to get not even half way decent service; I have cancelled all of the other services with terminix and absolutely won t return as a customer or recommend them!

The technician is always courteous, well dressed and very professional. He comes to the door to let me know he is here and I make sure the dogs are inside for a while. He does a thorough job sweeping where needed and spraying completed in a timely manner. he also lets me know when he is done.

Will not remove my Credit card info from my account and just billed me for another year despite several attempts to cancel any contract that exists. "Will not provide me with copy of contract that they are apparently using to charge me." Don't use them. But if you do, be careful about giving your credit card info. Actual service seemed okay. WH

On August, 2016 I purchased an under house ventilation system from Terminix. Since their installation, the system has not cycled on and off as it should. A representative would come by and tweak the controls and it would either run or not run for weeks at a time. This went on for a year with no satisfaction and now they won't return my calls. One would think after paying $900.00 for the system it would work. Not here. I have a termite contract with them and I wonder if they would honor that should the need arise. Terrible for sure.

have been attempting to get management at Terminex to JUST RETURN MY CALL. I had a technician at my home on 7/17 for an escrow item-Termite Inspection. The technician advised that there are NO active termites; however, there was a recommendation to fumigate on his report. Conflicting information in the report. No Termites BUT we would like you to pay us to fumigate? I was told that it was a marketing clause, then I was told it is a legal clause.

I cannot seem to get Terminex to call me or to rectify the obvious contradiction in their report. We are trying to close on a loan. We cannot schedule movers, we cannot agree on a date for closing, we are in limbo -- all because of a conflicting report from Terminex AND the fact that no one has a sense of urgency or decent customer service to return my call. I began calling on 7/18. This may not be an extended time to wait for a return call -- it is now 7/20 (Friday afternoon). BUT when a house closing hinges on a call from a manager from Terminex -- well it IS a long time to wait for a return call. How about some customer service??!! What could really take so long for a return call to a new customer? Leave the water cooler and tend to your customers!

In May 2015 I had a Terminix sale guy inform me about their termite treatments. I decided to get the treatment the next day and the technicians never showed on time. I took off work to be home for them and even text the sale rep to ensure they were coming between the time we set it up for. I called the toll free number and they had a different time down in the afternoon. I accepted it and still no one showed. The techs came in the evening and said they were early and hoped it was ok,. Early? they are hours late. He proceeded with the treatment and the tool he required was not working properly and needed to go back to the office to get a new one. Huge inconvenience on the entire day since I'm a single mom of 3 and trying to get them to sports and missing a day of work. They did come back that evening and completed the work. A week or so later I had to have them come back because I saw same or different bugs in the house. They came back and treated. The customer service and the Erlanger, KY branch manager never returns calls or would compensate me for any of my inconvenience (I tried for 2 month trying to resolve this). Very disrespectful and rude on their customer service habits. If I had to go through this again, I would have picked a different company if I knew the customer service would be like this, awful!

Also they say if you are not satisfied with the service you can get a refund...period. I mentioned I still have pest , looks like they helped the.multiple after several treatments..needles to say I requested a refund , and I'm still waiting. I would not recommend their services. I only put a star so I could comment, otherwise, I would have hit no stars
