Great produce. Excellent steaks and marinated chicken and steak tips. Highly recommend
Love this place everything is so fresh we'll be back
Good produces
My daughter enjoys feeding cow, pony and goat.
What an absolute gem of a place to visit. I was visiting a cousin in the area who worked there when he was younger and thought we "might" like to see. Might? There really wasn't enough time for my visit; I could happily have spent all day mooching around at everything - I genuinely wish I could pick up my shop over here and pop it inside their building.
As a florist I was automatically drawn to their sunflowers - the biggest and best I have ever seen (and I've spent a lot of time at Chelsea over-the-years) I love how they grow and dry a lot of their flowers; it's been a really long time since I've been somewhere with flowers drying above my head.
They have a lovely selection of gifts and homely bits-and-pieces upstairs, which were priced really well (and surprised me for they'd be at least 4 times the price at a similar business over here).
The cakes look delicious, their bread was lovely and the vegetables were of the best quality - their parsnips were of a similar quality to the sunflowers in that I'd never seen such good ones before.
Great quality food and serivce. Come early in the day because they do sell out of many things (milk, cheese, bread, juices, soups, eggs, etc.) Cute cottage shop upstairs.
Great place. Friendly people. Reasonable prices for good quality.
So glad this farm stand /food store is around! Fresh local produce and meats. Flowers/fresh and.dried and gifts!!!
Can't beat the freshness of their own produce and meats. Kids will enjoy seeing the animals just outside the store.
LOL....not sure what I love more...the produce or the animals.
Amazing farm with great produce, insanely cheap free range eggs, and maybe the nicest meat selection i have seen in Mass.
Fresh produce, fruits and vegetables. Love this place
Outstanding through and through. You have got to try the Filet! Cuts and eats like better and second to that, the best produce selection. A for sure go-to.
Visit the Farm friends - Say hello to Llamas, rabbits, turkeys and more.
Excellent food...service ...and prices!!!!
You guys rock!!!
Great meats and produce as well as excellent service!
I visit this area frequently and make sure that I stop in at Tendercrop farm before heading north. Always good fresh selections that look better than any market except my own garden.
Great quality meat at a relatively reasonable price. Fruits are expensive but you expect that from a local farm and it isnt any more than any other farm and they are just as good. You can also purchase local honey. Just be aware that the baked goods have hydrogenated oils. They are not all natural as I (and you may) wouldbexpect. They also have dried floral arrangements and cute home decor upstairs. You can also see some farm animals out back if you wish to but they are at the back of the parkinglot so you dont have to.
They are restricting the number allowed in the store. Good selection as always. Clean, friendly staff. Great place to shop.
One of the best places I've been for FRESH produce & baked goods. Someone is always ready to answer yr questions on farming. A must go too.
The people are carefully and the me al looks helathy
Nice farmer's market-type store. Good selection of produce.
I desperately miss this place when I'm not in the area. Best beef, chicken and pork, always juicy, tender and not previously frozen. Great clean flavor too. Local Produce when possible at surprisingly decent prices, often no more or even less than the super market.
Enjoyed shopping at the farm very nice selection and guality of fruits and vegetables meat bakery items. Plan to go back again to shop
Bought Cortland apples delicious 1.29 a pound good price.
Support local. Shop local. Top quality and fine selections. Fresh, fresh, fresh produce! Check out the butcher's display case! Cane sugar sodas! Fine cheeses! To die for baked goods!
Tendercrop farm is the best place for your grass fed humanely raised beef that you can see grazing happily in their fields in Newburyport. Veggies, fruits, baked goods and everything a farm life can offer.
Happened upon tender crop while traveling for work and was delighted. The petting zoo is a treat and the selection of prepared foods especially the baked goods is great. The most charming aspect were hundreds of bouquets of flowers drying dangling from the rafters
Farm fresh fruits and veggies, they also have their own meats and dairy from their own free range cattle, pigs, and chickens and cage free eggs. They are expensive. Also pre-made meals, sandwiches, and soups to go, which I highly recommend. Wish I could go there all the time, but I can't always afford it.
My favourite place for fresh foods and home grown produce.
Love Tendercrop! Fantastic produce and great prepared salads. They also have a small petting zoo which is great for the kids. Highly recommended stop off Rt 1A
Drove up to pickup my pre-ordered turkey for Thanksgiving. The parking lot was full so I had to park out on Route 1A with maybe 40 other vehicles and then joined the 60 others in line outside the doors. Sounds bad, right? Wrong! 29 minutes later I was walking out the door, paid and turkey in hand. The Tendercrop staff did a wonderful job of organizing! No lines inside as they limited how many people were allowed in at a time. Inside had plenty of room to shop for a few last minute items. When I drove up I figured it to be a 2 hour project. 29 minutes. great job Tendercrop staff! Happy Thanksgiving!
Superb veg and local meats. We get our Thanksgiving turkey here every year; always fresh, not injected with salt solution, humanely raised. Very popular.
Nice traditional farm stand.(Used to be Tuttle's Red Barn). Good fruit & veggies. You can get discarded greens to feed the few animals that are there. Gifts & for the most part fruit & veggies, are priced a little high, but the atmosphere is nice.
Organic vegetables, beautiful flowers and plants, grass fed beef
Kids love the animals free to see and food for a quarter
Great butcher shop selling organic meats. Fresh veggies and baked goods.
Small produce store w large dried herb and flower loft w lots of lovely chalk paint type furniture, beautiful wreaths and nick nacks to adorn your home.
Great selection of produce, meats, fresh eggs, baked goods.
It's one of the best country farm stands around here plenty of fresh vegetables in the meat section is the freshest you're going to get with their own eggs I could go on but you have to see it for yourself you won't regret it the meats are a little expensive but you get what you pay for
Incredibly busy right before Thanksgiving and it's easy to see why. A local treasure with the freshest of meats, produce, pies, cookies, and other items so nice to have for the holiday. I only wish we lived closer so we could go here more often.
A FARM NEEDS A PUBLIC BATHROOM I LEFT WITH OUT SHOPING BECOUSE THERE IS NO PUBLIC BATHROOM. PEOPLE COME FROM LONG DISTANCES TO DO SOME SHOPPING AND SPEND SOME TIME .
Place is so so. We went to the Newburyport location expecting the sunflowers festival, once we there they started the festival was helding in the NH location and that someone made a mistake advertising it on facebook. This was on Saturday 2:30 pm and they still haven't fix that huge mistake. So, festival still continues on Sunday and we gave them a try since the advertisement was really good saying thousands of sunflowers, games for kids, good food, etc. But I wasn't worthy we just got to see a couple hundreds (not thousands)of small sunflowers. Just a few tents with food(hot dogs, burgers, pita). We got burgers 2 of them with raw meet. No many games for the kids. We explained staff there what happened the day before, they just keep saying "sorry, sorry". No even offer a discount at the enter. The cover wasn't cheap eaither. Anyways, we were very disappointed for the whole dynamic. Regretted on the decision to drove all the way there for nothing even getting that previos experience the day before that may was a sign. I definitely don't recommend that festival because of my own experience. If you just want to get away from the city is fine, but don't expect much.
When in town we love coming to Tender Crop Farms. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They even let you know of some better deals if your planning to buy a few things in bulk. Then the shop upstairs is fun to look around in as well!
I tried to stop over and purchase fresh herbs from one of your greenhouses today and had the worst experience I understand that things are different now with covid concerns however as a result you would think businesses would welcome customers trying to support them not the case as I attempted to enter the greenhouse someone was spraying the hose on the plants I asked if I could come in and was totally ignored I entered and attempted to avoid being sprayed but experienced no attempt from the employee to accommodate me I left immediately having never felt more unwelcome I will never shop at your farm again
The meat is the most tender I have ever had
and would not dream of going anywhere else for it .
Outstanding all around! Fantastic meats produce bake goods and country charm!
Great farm awesome products grown right there. Meat is phenomenal!
Awesome fresh veggies, There own meat's, awesome bake goods, great dips, home made soup.ect. You'll love it.
Steaks are incredible and produce is outrageously fresh. The staff is also super nice and helpful.
Besides lots of fresh food, the animals are fun to visit for kids. There's no charge for visiting the animals.
Not organic food! Said food was organic but none of it is! also very over priced!
They are absolutely worth the ride to go to. Their fruits and vegetables are exceptional not only in size but in freshness and taste as well. They also sell meats and my hubby couldn't resist picking up a couple of steaks. One was a bone-in Rib Eye that was about 1 1/2" thick and the other simply labeled a "cowboy cut" and had to be 2" thick.
Having cooked them at separate times both of them were delicious, tender, juicy and melted in our mouths. Very high quality and I can't wait to explore more of what they offer.
This is your local grower at its finest. Free range cows, chickens, pigs etc. Tendercrop has it's own butchery where they use the meat is from their own farm. The vegetables are always very fresh and fantastic. They also have a great selection of baked goods and prepared foods. It is like a grocery store but local and fresh. Upstairs in the store they also have a great variety of home decoration goods. They used to have a buffalo for the kids (and adults who are kids) to feed but she appears to have passed away, they still have the llama and now have two cows that can be fed with stale bread form inside the store. They also put in a nice little farm zoo for the kids to check out all the animals. May I suggest going on the weekends when they have free samples of their chicken pie, beef pie, apple pie, blueberry pie etc. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Great local farm, excellent produce and grass fed beef
Responsible farming, non-GMO, multiple varieties of corn offered as each reaches ripeness.
It is a great place for vegetables, fruit and meats.
I love this place. I've heard that it's been around a while, and I can see exactly why it has. The meats here are great. They have almost all farm products and the vegetables are always wicked fresh and tasty deserves 10 stars
Still the best shop for all local produce products and farm raised meats. During this pandemic they have been a life line and a treasure. Thank you for all you do!
Been going since they first opened. Love their locally grown produce. Picked daily. Also garden plants and their field grown cut flowers. Freshly baked bread. There's a petting barn for the kids. Be sure to visit the male turkey with the big attitude! He puffed himself all up and followed my bf back and forth along the fence.
Great selection of local goods. Love the atmosphere here. Very rustic.
Top Quality Meats and vegetables it hasn't been that crowded had to wait to 3 minutes a true Old Town Country Store a little expensive but you get what you pay for everything's that fresh never no traffic on that route
