What an absolute gem of a place to visit. I was visiting a cousin in the area who worked there when he was younger and thought we "might" like to see. Might? There really wasn't enough time for my visit; I could happily have spent all day mooching around at everything - I genuinely wish I could pick up my shop over here and pop it inside their building.
As a florist I was automatically drawn to their sunflowers - the biggest and best I have ever seen (and I've spent a lot of time at Chelsea over-the-years) I love how they grow and dry a lot of their flowers; it's been a really long time since I've been somewhere with flowers drying above my head.
They have a lovely selection of gifts and homely bits-and-pieces upstairs, which were priced really well (and surprised me for they'd be at least 4 times the price at a similar business over here).
The cakes look delicious, their bread was lovely and the vegetables were of the best quality - their parsnips were of a similar quality to the sunflowers in that I'd never seen such good ones before.
