Used to get great turnovers and breads but something has changed.
LOUSY raspberry turnovers today and mislabeled cranberry nut bread. Turns out it was triple berry bread and not so good.. May be time to look for another place. VERY disappointed in Tendercrop Farms Newbury.

This was our first time here and we were really impressed. Didn't realize they had such a vast selection and that it's pretty reasonably priced. The eggs and the bagels we got were delicious (although the everything bagels should have more garlic!!). We will definitely be coming again soon when our refrigerator is more empty.

I lived in the Port for 10yrs and watched Tendercrop grow from a simple farmstand and expanding into the great places it is now. I always got my Cristmas trees and decorations from them and did all my window boxes and planters with them. One of my favorites was when they added the butcher the steak tips still give me wonderful dreams.

Definitely one of my favorite places to grocery shop in the area (or any area, really). There's an Incredible selection of fresh vegetables and everything else you will need that I can imagine. Beautiful grounds and helpful staff make this an all around great shopping experience and the prepared foods is a fantastic bonus for sure. Check it out if you are in the area! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to buy groceries. I noticed a lot of families visiting the farm animals as well so this could certainly be a family outing tied in to some fantastic grocery shopping. I hope that I am able to return someday (I live in Canada and my sister recently moved out of the State) and will certainly make a point to visit this store again. Keep up the great work and thanks for the great experience!

Great selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and artisan preserves as well as dried flowers. Bread is also very good with a healthy short list of ingredients. The meat counter is outstanding, great quality, fresh and the butchers will help you with any cut if you do not see it on display. Call ahead for anything unusual and they will do their best.

Excellent produce, meats, pastry everything! Their items are all grown on their own farm. Dried flowers, fresh flowers and a greenhouse add to the charm of this farm store. Be aware that prices may run higher than the market; but you are getting freshly picked produce and raised meat products. Staff is helpful too. Will return soon.

What an absolute gem of a place to visit. I was visiting a cousin in the area who worked there when he was younger and thought we "might" like to see. Might? There really wasn't enough time for my visit; I could happily have spent all day mooching around at everything - I genuinely wish I could pick up my shop over here and pop it inside their building.

As a florist I was automatically drawn to their sunflowers - the biggest and best I have ever seen (and I've spent a lot of time at Chelsea over-the-years) I love how they grow and dry a lot of their flowers; it's been a really long time since I've been somewhere with flowers drying above my head.

They have a lovely selection of gifts and homely bits-and-pieces upstairs, which were priced really well (and surprised me for they'd be at leas 4 times the price at a similar business over here).

The cakes look delicious, their bread was lovely and the vegetables were of the best quality - their parsnips were of a similar quality to the sunflowers in that I'd never seen such good ones before.

It is top of my list for when I go back and I will definitely allow more time, and a lot of space in my suitcase.

It's a great farm to bring younger kids to see the animals. It's a good place to shop for plants, local meats, dairy products and farm fresh produce too. Their bakery is awesome. I need to go back for more cookies and to try more of their pies. I personally like pie more than cake. Strawberry rhubarb pie is my favorite.

Shopped here for 25 years. Has become very snooty and other yuppie clients very rude and grabby.
During Covid were not waiting their turn.Large man rudely caused me to knock a all pie over than called me a trouble maker. Can you believe that!

Chicken, beef & pork are well worth the money. And it's grass-fed, antibiotic free!
In love with a few of the all natural products too. The locally made lotions are amazing!

Staff is friendly and helpful . Feeding the ducks is my stress reliever (:

A great farm with an excellent selection of produce, meat, and baked goods. We tried some of the elephant ears and hand pies recently, so good and great price. I also love their cheese spread.

I love shopping there for my fruit and veggies. They also have a wide variety of meat. Although I don't really eat meat but when I do I'll have their grass feed beef and it melts in your mouth. It's definitely someplace to check out!

Lots of choices of fruit/veggies to pick from, only negative was the boneless chicken breasts purchased had numerous bones still left in it. Next time I go there I will just purchase bone in or a whole chicken. Other than that a great place to shop local!

Best meat dept. Lots of their own grown produce. Little bit pricer than your local supermarket chain, but supporting local farmer. Milk, eggs, cheese, ice cream, maple syrup, local honey, to name a few. On site bakery for breads and cookies. All great quality. Home made daily soups during non-pandemic times.

Neat little roadside farm, nursery and store. They carry a huge variety of fresh vegetables, fruits & salads, as well as speciality items. Will return for sure when I am in the area.
