We have been coming to Teller's for our anniversary for the past 5 years and it never disappoints. The food, service, and atmosphere is perfect.

I cannot rave about Tellers more. This place is absolutely outstanding and our server, Joseph was phenomenal! We came here last year for our anniversary and loved everything about our experience so we decided to make it our restaurant of choice from then on. So we arrived for our reservation and Heather was so sweet and wished us a happy anniversary as she walked us to our table. Our sever, Joseph came right over and he actually recognized us from last year! He is the best server we have had out of all the restaurants we have been (I have been to restaurants around the world and back). He is very friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He made our experience and anniversary another one for the books!

We opted for the Sunday prefix but did get items for an upcharge. Every single penny was worth it. We both started with the crab cakes that were so fresh and delicious. My boyfriend decided on the Wellington and I did the Steak Domenico. We added on (sides were not included) the cream spinach, mashed sweet potato with marshmallows, and of course, the lobster Mac and cheese. My boyfriend described the beef Wellington as heavenly! It was by far the best meal he has EVER had and my Steak Domenico was out of this world. Both steaks were extremely tender, cooked perfectly, and flavorful. Joseph, had always given us spot on recommendations through out the meal (Wellington for example) and dessert was no exception. He had recommended the s'mores baked Alaska and it was undescribable. The plate comes out and Joseph lit it on fire making this the best/sweetest end to our anniversary dinner. The food is absolutely spectacular, but Joseph makes it an unforgettable experience! We will be coming back for a date night and most definitely be requesting Joseph from now on!

The food was OK but pricey for the quality. The main reason for two stars is our server, an older man, who was totally disrespectful after I asked about the burger options for the dinner. We saw som nice pictures posted online and wanted to try a signature burger but that definitely annoyed that gentleman . We payed more than $350 bill so there was no need to behave like that.

One of my favorite places for a nice dining experience. The food is high-quality and the staff represents the establishment well. The porterhouse for 2 and the lobster bisque make a nice meal. If you have not been here, don't miss the opportunity for something special.

Fantastic ambiance and service. Drinks are tasty and served quickly. Food is delicious; first course and salads were timed perfectly and the main course (Wellington) was at the correct temp but the sides were not as tasty as some of the other banners.

Love this place. One of Long Island's best steak houses. The ribeye is my favorite along with the porterhouse. The side dishes are always great and the service is attentive and always crisp. Things come to the table together. The wine list is a bit pricey but has some very high quality to it. Parking can be dicey sometimes but generally it is not a problem. Highly recommended

Worth driving over an hour to have dinner here. Top notch service and best steaks on the island. Check out the wine cellar, it's in the old vault (used to be a bank)

Poorly executed and overly priced food. Miso glazed skirt steak was a cheap cut of meat drowning in equally cheap teriyaki. The dry aged ny strip was tasteless. For 100 dollars per person I'd rather pay a cab to drive me to Peter lugers.

Best stake house in LI. My wife and I went there for our 10tb year because we couldn't fly out and what a great misfortune it was. Place was classy, good was an experience and Lauren certainly made it special. Huge thanks to whole staff for honoring my wife for what she does on daily.

My husband and I frequent Tellers. The GM Dion is always a pleasure and does anything possible to make our experience flawless. Service is always impeccable, (especially Steve) atmosphere is perfect and food speaks for itself. Worth every penny spent here. Unsurpassed in everyway!

nice decore, an old bank redone into a restaurant. nice bar area. that's about the only good thing here. the prices are out of line for the quality they serve. gave them 2 tries and never again.

Been to Tellers a few times before. Food is usually good as is the service. Most recently tried it for their Tuesday Price Fixed menu. Scallop appetizer was good, the main course of skirt steak was just OK. Service this time was also just OK.
Unfortunately even with the Price Fixed menu it still came out rather expensive. probably would have been better off ordering off the regular menu

Over-rated. Would not take my cold steak back. I refused to pay and they called the cops. After I was forced to pay the cops were waiting outside and they agreed. I reversed the credit card charges on the $50 steak and won. Food is truly subpar.

Awesome steak and service! Our 5th time here and never disappoints. Great selection of bourbon and whiskey at the bar. Specialty cocktails are fantastic.

What an unbelievable experience we had in that pace, is not only the service which is amazing, the food is incredible and the atmosphere is perfect. We were celebrating my father's in law birthday and they gave him the dessert (spectacular chocolate cake) and a gift card for 25$. It worth it definitely. Best place for sure.

My father and I love to treat ourselves to their amazing price fixe lunch from time to time. Their lobster bisque presentation is lovely and delicious! Great wait staff, have never experienced anything other than professional and attentive.

Excellent food and service! Prices are a bit high, but the food is always good. First time left disappointed with the burnt broccoli vegetable side dish. Tasted like it was deep fried. Very greasy. But everything else was amazing. Especially our very knowledgeable waiter.

They make a decent steak most of the time. But many customer service practices are designed for THEIR convenience and not to accommodate the customer. Two examples: They won t allow reservations for parts of the restaurant- they will only make a note that you want a particular location. They block access to handicap parking. So enjoy the pricey food but don t expect that they will treat you like a valued patron.

I have been going to this place for the past 10 years back when Chris was the executive chef and Robert was the manager. At that point the food was never better very attentive wait staff bartenders were great. Over the past few years this place has taken a turn for the worse eat at the bar order a steak medium comes out raw send it back comes back well done. You can sit at the bar order a $250 bottle of wine and the food will come out incorrect 9 at a 10 times the chef in the back at this point is not supervising and making sure that the food is expedited properly I see careless mistakes and nothing being rectified in order to make sure that your customer satisfaction is their number one priority. The greatest asset at this place is the guy John behind the bar very attentive takes care of you treat you like family that's the way that everybody should be when charging prices like this and making as many mistakes as they do. He seems to be the only one who was embarrassed and tries to make the situation better. If you do decide to go here order the tuna it's great most of the time it won't be overcooked. We even order food to go sometimes hoping that they'll wind up getting it correct I can't tell you how many times we've ordered a steak to go medium and the steak once again will be Raw if you are considering dining at this place be prepared for your steak to be cooked incorrectly regardless how you order it. If you want to enjoy a good Steakhouse in the area visit George Martin's Steakhouse in Great River. Also if they cared how anyone felt they would at least respond to some of these bad reviews and some of the good reviews that have been posted just a little bit of acknowledgement stating thank you very much for your dining experience we hope to see you again next time or if there is a problem we'd love to speak to you in regards to resolving it none of these posts have gone recognized nor have they been responded to and I know a restaurant like this has a great marketing team. My wife and I receive $50 in gift cards around the holiday time to bring us in so of course they must be monitoring all of their social media as well as their frequent guests I wish you well good luck at this place. Drive passed it!!!!!

Turkey dinner was ok but the stuffing was terrible.

Did you know this used to be a bank?! They sat us by the bar, in a corner nook which initially I thought would be too loud and their were a few noisy people but the main dining room was crowded so later I was glad we had a more intimate location. The food was AMAZING, Lauren the Manager was very hospitable and made sure we got the tour of the vaulted wine room; Steve our waiter was very kind and never missed a beat with our drinks. Later we sat at the bar and John the bartender fixed us some great celebratory drinks at the end. Great night, wonderful service and staff, beautiful interior, the Steak was melting in my mouth...5 star food and service!! Worth every penny!

Place is beautiful and service is excellent but the steak is just not as good as some of the top steakhouse in NYC. This is definitely a place to go for the atmosphere but if you want better steak go to Peter Luger. (The reason I'm comparing this to Luger is because Tellers copy them in term of how the steak is prepared, the sauce and even the price)

I've been here a bunch of times and love it. As always the service at this steak house is outstanding. Love it!

I always order steak but this time I wanted to switch it up so I went with the lobster roll. This was a recommendation from the waitress and I wanted to try something different. The lobster roll was good, but I wouldn't say it was the best I've had. Breaking down the whole roll... 1) The bun was warm and freshly baked 2) Could have used a larger portion on the lobster! 3) The lobster tasted super chewy and I'm not sure that it was super fresh.

My wife ordered the skirt steak and I wish I ordered the same thing. It was delicious and cooked/prepared perfectly.

I guess I'll stick with what they are known for, excellent steak!

Just a classy place to dine. I enjoy the tavern, with comfy chairs and tables towards the back. Great service. It can be a bit expensive, often depending on what you order, but the quality is always top of the line.

An elegant restaurant for a kid free night. My wife and I every few months come with our friends and we leave all our kids at home. A nice escape with great food and especially great drinks! The black pepper bacon and the tartufo are two of our favorites. -1 star because frankly it runs on the pricier end.
