Such a beautiful island. So much to see and do. Made a stop on a cruise, booked a couple of excursions. Everyone we encountered were friendly. Get your passport stamped in "H e l l" see the turtles and get some rum cake for sure!

Only saw port side of island (about a two-mile stretch). It was super touristy with not much do or see unless you wanted to shop or go to Margaritaville. I expected something more spectacular, given rumors about this island having loads of people who have loads money.

Absolutely gorgeous Island. So much fun. I'd move here tomorrow if I could. We did the Stingray City and Rum Point excursion and it was amazing. Favorite port of the trip by all. Great shopping too. Very clean and safe.

Visited here on a Carnival cruise, great food and beautiful beaches and views! Plenty of things to do as well. Only complaints are on the roads in the parks, they are absolutely terrible. Highly recommend renting a 4x4 all wheel drive vehicle

Georgetown was nice enough and the people were very friendly. Our port stop was very short and unfortunately it was too windy to go to Stingray City. We walked around a little and let our teenager walk through all the shops. Very pretty city.

The water and weather are both phenomenal and the diving is fantastic on Grand Cayman. I'd love to go back but there were so many mosquitoes, we never stopped itching, the food was disappointing (we couldn't for the life of us find edible ground beef from a store and restaurant food from renowned chefs still turned out bland), and everything is VERY expensive. If you have a lot of money and chances to travel, you should absolutely visit but if your vacations are limited, I'd recommend another island.

Isola beautiful, but overly exploited. Too many huge skyscrapers!
The beaches are not bad, but they are not comparable to other Caribbean islands.
You absolutely need a car to look for the best seats.

The island of Grand Cayman, place where you can anchor up to 6 of the largest cruises in the world to reach it only by boat or tender of the same boats, and visit this beautiful island of fantastic views, the blue sea corals beaches of white sand and that in combination of its beautiful streets and shops buildings that offer souvenirs of the most select and varied water sports shops, restaurants and the most prestigious jewelery and watch shops. Grand Cayman of great English influence an island paradise in the Caribbean Sea.

I want to post a warning re a particular taxi driver, Angela C Newell, # TD 1194. She worked with the Taxi stand information desk, Leon Conolly. She drove us to the pirate Cave , Bodden Town which was closed, $80 roundtrip which also was to include another stop on the way back. Told her to take us directly back which she initially refused until a put down the $80 in cash. Long story went all the way up to Port Security officer, Deryck Parson's who apologized to us but couldn't do anything. However, he did add that if it was even open you needed to buy a ticket in advance. Total rip off. Angela would NOT give us the money back. NO ONE COULD HELP!!! BEWARE OF LOCAL TAXIS!!!!

The second stop of our cruise took us to Grand Cayman, more specifically to Georgetown.
From here we explored with a tour guide much of the island, including turtle breeding station.
The island was in retrospect the highlight of the trip, very well developed, great infrastructure, very nice people, great weather, great beaches.
Overall highly recommended as a destination

The laid back island of all dreams. Beautiful beaches and fantastic diving. If you go and are not diving, take a book. Most shops close up here at 5 PM. So there is not much to do beyond the ocean.
