The island is very nice. Currently in mid 2018 -- they are undergoing a huge infrastructure upgrade, so there is a lot of traffic and unexpected closures of major roads. Everything on the island is expensive but it is worth it. Book well in advance. There is much to do on the island so look online at popular places to visit on your stay. A car is very helpful as it makes travelling much easier.

When I visited for my cousin's wedding, I was skeptical at first, since I had never heard of the island. BUT, that was it, this is the secret gem of the Caribbean Sea! I plan to visit very often during my vacation days! This is thee most enjoyable place to stay at when you want to get away and relax! Heck, Tom Cruise has a place there... rumor has it. On top of that there is sting ray city, where you get to see "domesticated" stingrays, who actually kiss you! A bio-luminescence bay that prompted the Avatar film. Where you actually see the glow as fishes swim under water, truly mesmerizing. JUST GO! Oh did I forget that there is amazing scuba diving and parasailing too!

Favorite stop on my cruise. The pace has chickens running wild everywhere which I thought was great. We made stops at the the turtle farm, Hell, and snorkeling at seven mile beach , quick stop at the bar, And grabbed a bottle of local rum at the duty free before b taking off.

Beautiful is an understatement. I landed here after a miserable stay in jamaica. It was indescribably better. The people, the scenery, and the culture and just phenomenal. So much to see and do! Wonderful place!

Absolutely gorgeous island! Go to the seven mile island! It's great for swimming and snorkeling and it's very alive with a coral reef and fish. Also stop at the muesum for a bit of history and good prices on souvenirs. The coffee is also really amazing!

Great place to visit with friends or family. If you like water based activities, you're in luck as there's plenty of it. A lot of food options from high end to cheap. If you're picky or a big food critic, listen to others about a restaurant, lest you be disappointed. If you want to experience the local culture, go soon as there is a lot of development going on.

if you want a amazing tropical vacation, GO HERE! there is lots of sandy beaches, sights like the blue iguana reserve (the only place in the world the
blue iguana's) there is tons of wild fish like stingray, rarely lion fish, and much more. the cuisine is amazing, and the people are even better. their specialty (i'm pretty sure) is jerk chicken. it's AMAZING! and that's why I give it a 5 star rating

Visit to Georgetown by Celebrity Edge cruise Jan 10, 2020.
I found the city very clean and friendly. We took a tour to the
"Hell" site and the the very strange limestone formations and
saw well kept streets and properties all through the trip.
NOTE; can't say the same for my visit to Puerto Rico in 2019,
Dirty, piles of trash everywhere seems like the locals are waiting
for someone (US?) to clean up their messes! Just saying!

Super

Great place for a vacation. This was one of the cruise's stops. I was thinking this was one of the most expensive places we got around 7 miles beach with $5 USA dollars. Definitely had a great time.

Incredible ocean views, cool breezes, warm summer sunshine and some of the friendliest people on the face of the Earth make this one travel destination you should definitely put on your map! It's very easy to see why billionaires pick this spot to come play and relax.

Stopover during a cruise, firstly when you arrive with a boat of this size, you can not dock at a port. You are transported using a shuttle that must make several trips to and from the boat. If you are not in the front row, it will take a long time to get to the island. It will take you at least 15 minutes to cross, depending on the waves and their strength.
Once you have returned, simply choose from the excursions offered. We chose the catamaran ride to where we can see and swim with the stingrays.
The water of the sea is turquoise and very hot, it's really beautiful. Unfortunately, it is an extremely touristy place. Too many people and boats. Making it a less paradise tour. They are not dangerous beasts even if they have a deadly dare at the end of their tail. They come to you in your arms without problem. I'm glad I did, but it's not an activity to redo. I know it brings tourism so money on the island. By cons, I think it's fair animals.

If not, the city tour with rented car, for its independence, it's very good. At peak hours, expect to be in traffic. There is only one street to cross everything. Take a step ahead if you have a boat to take, because he will not wait for you. ;-)

This is a tiny island with a small tourist strip at the pier with mostly jewelry and watches. There is a Hard Rock Cafe and Harley Davidson shop. We were not impressed with this stop and only spent an hour onshore. Reminiscent of Nassau, Bahamas.

The most awesome island experience one can imagine...

The most awesome island experience one can imagine. Lots of sun sand and saltwater-fun with all the modern amenities rivaling any other top tourist destination in the world. Lots of natural beauty every where, mixed with modern metropolitan infrastructure. The downsides can be a little disappointing, with the exchange rate to the US dollar, but the benefits show in the first-world infrastructure seen everywhere. Also, There seems to be a lack of public parks and natural trails to be used by pedestrians and cyclists alike. Cycling seems to be as dangerous there as Russian roulette (hence, the lack of seeing cyclist riding anywhere on the island - I find it pretty strange for an island). Nevertheless, the people are friendly, the islands are service-oriented (service with a smile) and the selection of food on the island is unrivaled. Congestion in the downtown areas seem typical of many of the islands, but once one can get away to the outskirts of the island, one can take the time to enjoy the beauty and the people. Speaking of which, the only time one can encounter the indigenous peoples of the islands, is by visiting the outer towns and villages or hopping over to some of the sister islands. Staying in the tourist areas of downtown or the West Bay road areas will only let one meet foreign locals whom are simply their as expat workers to support the islands bustling tourism and banking industries. The coral reef diving is world renown, while the fishing goes neck and neck as well. Snorkeling can be done from just about anywhere off the islands' shores and tons of water sports available everywhere. Another thing worth mentioning is the world-class dutyfree stores... available just about everywhere on the island. I especially like to shop for my Creed cologne there because of the great prices... amongst other dutyfree items. All in all, I love visiting Grand Cayman. It's a first world destination with all the beauty and top quality amenities to be expected from the top island destinations around the world. cheers.

This is THE go to place for a great vacation on crystal white beaches and crystal clear water. The snorkeling, diving, excursions, and sunset trips are all dantastic!!
The locals are the most friendly people you'll ever meet and it's completely safe to walk around at any time of night.
Make sure you go to Ragazzi's for the best Italuan food on the island. Their wine bottle list is 900 deep!!
The sunsets are phenomenal!!
