Gorgeous island with calming beaches and crystal clear water. If you're a beach person, scuba diver or just someone who wants to get away, Grand Cayman is the place. Everyone is friendly, the weather is amazing and year round and there are plenty of places that you can stay that will take care of your need. It's also only a couple hour direct flight from many places in the US. Well worth it.

The Paradise. Superb weather all year round, clear waters with easily accessible coral reefs and marine life, splendid beaches and great hotels and restaurants - this is a must check in a lifetime. The island is not so big, but offers a lot in activities - caves, bio-luminescence tours, stingray city, etc..

The Cayman islands are so relaxing!. Tourists might find some pushy merchants and street vendors right around Georgetown, where the cruise ships port. But once out of that area, everyone is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful island, beautiful beaches, great local people, I felt there had been a lot of work / improvement to Georgetown. Finally went to Hell. Quant and interesting rock formations. Crystal clear blue water, white sand beaches, lots of rentals, bars and scuba, snorkeling areas. I just left and I want to go back.

If you go on a cruise, please ensure that you do not miss out on this port. People in Grand Cayman are very friendly. The 7 mile beach is a must go to. The shops are all right there as you walk off the tender boats. By the way this is a tender port meaning the ships are anchored and you board a small boat that will bring you ashore.

Best trip ever. This island has amazing beaches, delicious food, (Czech inn was our favorite) it is safe to travel around the island and it has so much to do! I did a ton of research and planning and I'm glad I did. We swam with stingrays (whatever you do dont miss this, and snorkeling while at stingray city it was one of my favorite moments) We did a bioluminescent tour and swam with neon blue bacteria, saw "disco shrimp" went to beautiful starfish point and held starfish. We rode horses that swam through the water while we rode. We went to rum point which is one of the most beautiful places on earth. In the morning we snorkeled at a beach where you watch see turtles come in for breakfast. We went to the turtle preserve where there are 6-7' turtles, I couldnt believe it! We went to see blowholes and crystal caves, beautiful botanical gardens, and snorkled at eden rock that basically is like flying over a underwater volcanic mountain range with tons of schools of fish. Governors beach on seven mile has spectacular snorkeling as well. This island has amazing people and so much to do. We stayed in Boddentown in the 2 story condos at turtle nest inn right on the water and had awesome snorkeling reefs right outside and free use of paddle boards and kayaks. Plus they made amazing pina coladas! Balconies upstairs and downstairs to the pool. Jacuzzi tub. Honestly there is nothing I would do different about this trip. We made a lifetime of memories. Rent a car, do your research and go here! I cant say enough about this place and its people, unbelievable down to the blue iguanas and chickens. I heard the diving is world class too! Dont just go to the cruize port. Explore this island it is a piece of heaven.

I decided to book a trip to Grand Cayman at the last minute and I'm glad that I did. My family and I stayed in a nice condo at London House which is on the northern end of Seven Mile Beach, so it was like we had our own private beach. The visibility of the water right off of the beach was great so we did quite a bit of snorkeling right there. We also took a trip out to see the stingrays with a snorkel stop afterwards and it was a blast! I also scuba so I was able to get a few dives in and the visibility was great! I hope to go back and do more diving soon since I really want to explore the wrecks. While we cooked more of our meals at the condo, we tried a few local restaurants and the food was good. I highly recommend a visit to Grand Cayman if you love gorgeous water and lovely beaches.

One of the best experiences I lived in my life. Everything is wonderfull. The excursions, the water. The fauna To subtract. The guides who profit from the photo all the time and annoy the manta rays. The beautiful city. The stores to buy. All that is well is here

Favorite for over 35 years. Has not lost it's friendly hospitality even as it has boomed. Still some of the best diving with fierce protection, tho the sites near the harbor cruise ship patrons go to show some wear. Stingray City certainly worth a visit as is the wonderfully calm water of 7 Mile Beach. All public access.

All I can say is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! If you ever have the opportunity to go, jump on it ASAP! You will not be disappointed. Seven Mile Beach...what can I say? The water is the most beautiful I've ever seen in person. I highly recommend going at the end of April as we did. It was around 85 degrees, perfect beach weather! The water seemed cold as you first got in, but 30 seconds or so later your body adjusts. We took a taxi from the cruise terminal. It was only $5 for both my husband and I. We were dropped off in an area that has an outside bar which also serves food. They take US dollars, but our dollars are only worth .86 to one of theirs, so a Pina Colada runs about $12.25 served in about a 16 oz solo cup. We did not eat any food while there so I can't comment on that. There are food trucks that pull up to the beach area. I saw some other people with some BBQ from one of the food trucks. It looked and smelled good and I heard someone comment that it was good. We spent around 4 hours on the beach and it cost us $20 to rent two beach chairs with an umbrella. My husband got a 6 pack of Coors Light in the cans, I got a Coke in the can and we got 2 16.9 oz bottles of water for $25. The young men who rent out the beach chairs went to a nearby store and brought those back to us. They got us a bucket of ice to keep the drinks cool. But the highlight of the day was that beautiful beach. If I could afford to retire to Grand Cayman, I'd do it in a heartbeat! It's really a lovely little island!
