Staff here is great, helpful and smiling. I love the body wraps, hydration detox and red light theraphy. My daughter loves their spray tans, they offer so many different options, nuances etc. Furthermore Tan Spa South Tampa is clean and neat which is important to me. Josephine, Kelsey and the girls are great.

I love this place! It is so clean, and the girls are so friendly! The air brush tans are amazing as well. There is no orange tint to them at all, they leave me perfectly sunkissed. Besides tanning, they have this amazing thing called the Fit Body Wrap that I would suggest anyone to try out! It's so worth it!

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I have been coming weekly for almost a year and have lost weight using the body wrap. The Red Light works wonders on the skin!! Highly recommend!!

Hands Down, best place in South Tampa to Tan. Everything is impressive from the eclectic decor to the extremely attentive and knowledgeable staff. The Tanning beds no doubt are the best bang for your buck in Tampa. Spa services are right on point for both female and male customers. Either type of spray tan (machine or old school) works very well and lasts without running and ruining clothes and or your furniture. Even the owner is impressive, a single lady that is rocking the Tampa Tan world like she s been doing it forever. She and her staff clearly know that good people, great tans at affordable prices are what it takes to be a success.

I love their spa services! I do the hydration atleast 2 times a week and have noticed a huge difference in my skin's texture and my spray tans! I got hooked by doing their perfect tan in one day. Hydration, Level 5, and a Mystic and I have a long lasting tan all week!

I'll start by saying that the spray tan I received was good and even. I was overall happy with the result of the Versa Pro.
What I was not happy about is the way I was treated when I walked in to Tan Spa. My roommate has been RAVING about this place and she gave me the card to try it out myself since I'm looking for a new tanning salon. When I arrived I turned over my driver's license and she started typing while I filled out a new client form. When I said I had one of the cards the lady said I didn't qualify because my ID was not "local enough" (central fl). I told the lady I lived just across the Howard Franklin and lived close enough to be a client, but due to being active duty military I didn't have my ID reflect that address. She said "it has to be within 5 miles"
WHAT? My roommate IS A CLIENT there and she was given the best treatment when she was brought in due to a coupon and that first time card. I still paid without complaint because I knew they had good spray tans, but I absolutely will not purchase a tanning package or become a member if that is how they treat people they don't expect will bring in monthly income.
When I told my roommate how it went down she was blown away because they were so friendly and showed her all the features of the spa as soon as she arrived EVEN THOUGH she still has an out of area ID as well.

I love Tan Spa! The staff is always so friendly when I come in for my Versa spray! The products they recommend are always on point for me! Although I haven't tried the Custom Airbrush, I've seen results on girls and guys leaving and WOW! Beautiful natural color immediately!

They have the nicest staff, clean beds, and great hours. Their level 5 bed is my favorite!

I love this place, it's the best tanning salon in Tampa & Clearwater! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and ensures your expectations are met every time. I've had almost every spa service from Tanning beds, to mystic sprays and my ultimate favorite; the airbrush! This is the only place I will go to spray tan because it lasts long and looks so natural. Keep up the good work ladies!

Love this place. Bright, friendly, ultra clean. The girls at the front desk are always hustling so I know they respect my time. Bought the membership, which is so worth it in my opinion. I drop in about twice a week and I'm always bronzed and never blotchy. The spray tan cuts my morning makeup routine in half because it evens out my skin tone so well!

Anyone that gets an airbrush beware, that if the owner does it she talks about your body amongst clients and staff and draws pictures of the reproductive anatomy and shows people, I was engaged in several conversations speaking about clients that she airbrushed. I was a customer of tan spa until a month ago. I observed so many unethical practices that should not be going on at any business. Not only being a customer, I have had close friends work at this salon. I've never seen young girls be talked to so unprofessionally and treated so badly. It is a dangerous environment as well. I have recordings of Threatening voicemails from strange men looking for the owner inquiring about sexual acts and as well as homeland security being called for human sex trafficking. It is not a place I want to be associated with. Plus the owner bribes everyone to do reviews in exchange for credits and favors on their accounts. I was one of them. A lot of the five star reviews you see are in exchange for something. Please be real and honest.

You need to take accountability for your actions on how you treat your clients and staff behind their backs. It is your responsibility as a business owner to provide confidentiality to you customers and staff, as well as safety precautions. I will be looking forward to whatever letters your attorney provides. This is a public forum and I am executing my first amendment rights. People need to be aware of the truth when it comes to how your business is ran and how you treat people. The truth can always be backed with proof, that can always be made public as well. Our only goal is to keep others from harm and humiliation.

I ve been to several tanning salons in south tampa, particularly for sunless tanning and Tan Spa is by far my new favorite. They have the newest equipment and most helpful staff, along with the most reasonable prices for the quality!

If your looking for a full service tanning salon this is it...you literally feel like you are in a full service salon with so many services to choose from.The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on all their products and all their many services they have to offer.The atmosphere is very warm and the salon takes pride on their cleanliness...which to me is very important.The beds are all maintained so well and you will never have to worry about dull bulbs!!!.. You definitely feel like you are getting your money s worth and then some

I had so much fun! I planned a girls day and didnt expect it to go so well!!! We did the hydromassage i got a tan and we also did the hydration station. It was amazing! Very relaxing we needed this so bad! I am definitely ecoming a memeber!!!!!

I am a new client and I must say that it is worth the 35 minute drive for me. They are very professional and extremely helpful. The facility is clean and I feel very relaxed. The machines are user friendly and the staff is always there incase I have questions. Would highly recommend!

My skin is on Fleek Baby!! the red light therapy works wonders an i have seen such an improvement in my overall skin tone its amazing , an the level 5 bed has my color glowing, love this place , Such a Great deal with the member ship , an the body wraps are perfect for getting some well need calories burned off . I was very impressed with the experience I had at Tan Spa. I originally went in to try the spray tan booth to get a healthy tan for a wedding I was attending that weekend. The owner Ambria was there and was so knowledgeable and helped educate me on all the services they offer. I decided I would like to try the custom Spray Tan. I am so happy that I did because it turned out perfect! I had no issues at all and the tan was perfectly even with no spots or drips. I felt perfectly comfortable with Ambria and could tell that she takes pride in her business and her work. She is a pro and she made me look fabulous for my weekend away! I was also able to try the hydration station as well as the massage bed while waiting for my tan service and it was so relaxing! Definitely recommend any service at Tan Spa and look forward to seeing Ambria soon for another gorgeous custom spray tan!

I'm visiting a friend from Maryland and they would not honor her referral card but it did not say only for in town friends. Got a mystic tan and they said they would give me a deal. Said it was 25 and a couple extra dollars for bronzer and accelerator and then charged my card $38. I can get a custom airbrush at home for $30 and the girl will come to my house. I guess you have to live in Florida for the hospitality and to get a deal here. Would not go back very disappointing.

I've been tanning since I was 17 I'm now 30. This is the best place I've ever Tanned in life. their level two and three beds are amazing like the old school ones that really get you dark they also have the really super spaceship looking ones that other people like and seem to actually love. They have a sauna and a hydration therapy bed some kind of red light therapy bed some kind of weight loss bed....and they have the best spray tans around so I hear I even tried it for the first time in my life and it came out beautiful I just like the actual UV rays... also the girls that work there are amazing at every location around Tampa... they are super understanding and they really treat you like they want you there and will do anything to keep your business and to make it a very pleasant experience I will not go anywhere else in Tampa ever....

First time ever at a tanning salon; well because I'm a brownie. Lol. I stopped in to get a light glow mystic tan, the place was very clean and the girls were very professional and helpful with assisting on my first ever visit to a tanning salon. The offered a wide variety of services to which I would find very useful If I lived in the area. Next visit to Tampa I will be back here. Oh, and the glow was great on my brown skin, something I'll get more often back here at home.=)

I have very fair skin and was always worried that a spray wouldn't look good/natural, but both of my Tan Spa spray tans have been awesome. Natural and long lasting. ALSO Gab just gave me a custom airbrush the other day and it was pouring rain outside so she walked me out to my car so I wouldn't get wet - and she got soaked. I will never go anywhere else!

My lotion went missing when they used to keep it behind the counter, I used it 4 times and it was almost empty, which tells me the staff use the lotion I purchase or let others use it. Don t tan here, extreme unethical practices are demonstrated daily. Not to mention the beds are always dirty. I am sure the owner will say I am not in her data base or that I m related to a former employee because i gave a 1 Star. As she does anyone she can no longer bribe with credits for fake reviews.

Response: I have never been to Minnesota, nor am I related to anyone. This is comical. Please check my Facebook page that I don t have. The owners state of mind is very questionable, as you see in her response below. She is completely mentally unstable and to illiterate to run a business. You are trying to get an honest review deleted.

So natural and pretty! I'm so happy with the results! I tried the custom airbrush for the first time and it was quick and easy! Loved my appointment and will definitely come back again!

I recently got a membership here and I love it! The girls are always so friendly and helpful! They have great products and spa services and their tanning beds are always very clean, amazing quality and give the best even tan.

I live in Carrollwoid but travel to Tan Spa because of the stellar service (Shout out to Shelby!) and products they offer. Spray tans are even and natural looking with no orange tinge to them. Love the other services they offer including the hydration bed. Look no more...this is where you need to choose to go for your tan and skin care services!

After moving to South Tampa about a year ago, I needed to find a new tanning salon and I m really glad someone recommended Tan Spa. I ve been a member now for about 6 months now, and it s been the best salon I ve been to in Tampa so far. From state of the art UV tanning beds they just got in, to sunless packages, and other spa services (I feel in love with the red-light therapy, which is doing wonders for my skin), to an assortment of products and lotions, it s a great tanning salon overall. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable; they really know their stuff when it comes to tanning and the entire process. I ve been tanning for years, but still have a learned a lot about proper skincare from the ladies at the salon! Very impressed with everything they offer, and it s at a reasonable price. Hard to find this quality in South Tampa for a reasonable rate. The fact that they have so many services (I forgot to mention the hydro-bed!) along with tanning is a huge plus for me. A lot of services all in one place. Highly, highly recommend!

Tan Spa is absolutely AMAZING!!! I have gone to many tanning beds in my life and they have all been normal tanning experiences in and out with nothing to offer, I then tried out tan spa and will never go anywhere else ever again not only do they have tanning they have many other awesome things to try. I recently had an awful break out on my face and tried every product out there my last result was going to a dermatologist but first I went to tan spa and spoke to Lola ( who is amazing and very helpful in EVERYTHING) and she recommended I try Glo Clear Acne Cleanser, within three days my face looked amazing!!! I have never felt pressured into buying products or ever feel they are trying to take my money, they are truly there to help you and make sure you are well taken care of. I recommend Tan Spa to anybody for tanning, products, massage, body wraps and everything else they have to offer. also the prices are great and completely affordable!! This is a one stop spa :)
