Fantastic place to learn rowing. Highly skilled instructors. Very committed. I look forward to every rowing class with them.
I really recommend the LRC whether you want to learn rowing or refresh your skills.

Popular place for birthday parties also small weddings and other gatherings. Friendly staff, amazing manager, really entertaining. Impressive collection of trophies won by the club over the years. There is even a boat from 1936 Berlin Olimpcs. Recommended to visit.

The oldest rowing club in Putney, it has a Gold medal winning row boat from the 1912 Olympics on the ceiling of the main hall plus the balcony runs the length of the main room. You can feel the history in the members room, huge boardroom table, lots of paintings and cups they've won over the years and the doors open onto the huge balcony with great views over the thames. New members welcome, very active social scene plus the venue is often hired for weddings and conferences. The events manager Olivia is very helpful and they have some excellent caterers too. If you're lucky enough to get inside, go :)
