Lovely ambience and faultless service and hospitality

As it was a small hotel, the distance to the staff was close, and we visited very carefully (* ^ ^) v There was also a staff who can speak Japanese, so it was saved as a reservation for the esthetics and dinner. There were few Japanese tourists.
There were a lot of Australians who were old and it was a calm hotel.

For friends who want to take a vacation to Bali you can stay here.

Got to be the best boutique hotel in Sanur. I've stayed here in 2006 and then again recently. it's beautiful with a nice pool and very relaxing lounge area. Right on the boardwalk and has a pretty good surf break out front (when it's working).

It's not cheap so be prepared to spend. In fact it may be one of the most expensive places to stay in Sanur. Dinner here is among the best in the area as well. The staff is very professional and know how to cater to westerners. Very classy place.

This legendary hotel was the first 3 hotel in Bali, it's a boutique hotel and villas, very nice place to stay, beautiful garden and also the best sandy beach in Sanur area. Managed by very nice people. Highly recommend

Favorite place for hang out...delicious food and good services.

Staff is very kind and service is top-notch. Food is a nice mix of Western and local and the breakfast will make you full for the entire day.

I stayed at Tandjung Sari for eight months during the construction of the Bali Beach Hotel. It was an unforgettable experience. I made many long term friends. I had purchased a "tjukung" - one of the outriggered native sailboats. They have lateen rigs, so were a little trickier to sail than Western sailboats. But I soon learned and did a lot of sailing in the Bali Sea. I caught a lot of fish, and would take them to the dining room chef where he would prepare sumptuous meals with my catch. It was a delightful time.

Charming place, relaxing, a trip back in time. Nice bungalows opposite all the contemporary hotels visited on site. The beach of the hotel is well appointed. On the other hand around nothing very pretty. Very nice home.

What a lovely place! Staff is super friendly and professional. Rooms are clean, comfortable and traditional architecture. Pool area is gorgeous, beach just as beautiful. Five stars not enough

The location is very good, in front of the beach, I have not tried the rooms, but it is a very good place to have a coffee with friends with the view of Sanur beach.

Lovely hotel, great staff, excellent sea views. I liked the swimming pool, sheltered, so can be used during the day. Chalets a little tired.

Fantastic holiday,we are coming back for our third time...

Ended up here by accident on Valentines day for dinner..... On my own. Dinner on the beach was gorgeous. The atmosphere lifted my spirits and the food was very good. Definitely will be back. Hopefully not alone next time.

If you want a luxury getaway it's hard to recommend better place. Very friendly staff, roomy and cozy bungalows and good restaurant with a la carte breakfast.

Great service, ambience and location but the menu at the time we visited was restricted. Nevertheless, it is one of Sanurs prime eateries for style and culture and we would definitely recommend a visit for a Balinese 5* experience.

Great place for felax, private and marvelous service

Great spa, excellent food and clean rooms with outdoor bath. If you want to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle, is here in good hands and that the beach a bit disappointed and a city break fails can easily get over.

I had been there 5 times. A hotel with exclusive guests. Excellent food. Excellent service. Beautiful big-old trees. It looks old from pictures on the internet, but don't let them fool you. Everything is very well-maintained.

If you would like to save on the hotel budget, try a dinner alone.

An oasis of peace in the midst of the busy Sanur. A good organised and true client centric hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I find myself discovering new details every single day of the beautiful Balinesian architecture and superb maintained gardens and flowers. The gardeners deliver a great job. Had such a enjoying stay, just perfect.

4-star hotel resorts in the Sanur area, established since 1967 but are very well maintained. there is a view overlooking the smart Sanur. For room details can be seen in photo 360 and capture at every corner. Very good and friendly service.

We dined at the restaurant and loved it. Very good and flavourful food with good portion sizes, including desserts. They have probably the best wine selection along that stretch of beachside dining options (other than Hattens and Two islands, thank goodness). The staff were friendly and the decor and ambience dining by the beachside is a definite winner. A good experience overall and worth the extra money for the higher quality and value of experience. A job well done by the team there.

Magical atmosphere of relaxation, great service and delicious cuisine. Many congratulations to all the staff !!

We went there in June 2017. The service was excellent the food was great. We did not stay there however we ate there every night, the full moon party was an experience and the beach food was 5 star. The hotel Manager Putu was inviting and very helpful. The staff were very good and the service was excellent. We plan to go back next year.

Friendly at first sight. But we are deposed. They work with double price lists. And sat on the toilet all night.

2 x Bacon and egg muffins and 2 coffees= approx $40 ,,,,,Really guys ??

the best comfortable place in Bali. less mosquite and good meal.

The grounds are so beautiful. The pool is perfect (but a little cold which I think is typical of all pools in Bali at this time of year). The salt water pool is so much nicer than the chlorine pools we swam in while in Sanur.
The rooms were clean and comfortable if a little dated.
The restaurant is fine but at times doesn't quite live up to the expectations (but having said that, when I was upset the restaurant had run out of the beef rendang one evening, they gave me a complimentary lunch of the rendang the next day. It was really delicious).
We will definitely come and stay again. This place is a beautiful oasis of calm and serenity.

Great service, great location but the place Sanur did not like us at all. If the hotel was located in a more romantic place, the Tanjung Sari experience would be even better. Just do not make the same mistake as we do and book the two-story bungalow, a Village Bungalow or Beach Bungalow are the more sensible option. The upper room was not used by us at all. Breakfast and food are UNBEATABLE in this area of Bali. Overall, a bit expensive, but also partially justified, one should take advantage of a classic and high quality service.
